We had our 9/21/13 wedding at Camp Lucy, from the first time I stepped onto the grounds I knew I had found something special. I would have moved mountains to marry my best friend here and I'm so lucky we were able to have our beautiful and perfect day here. The ENTIRE process was smooth, welcoming and fun. I can't tell you how many guests commented on our wedding saying it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to, I know it was largely thanks to the magical setting that is camp lucy. Thanks to everyone there including Diane and the Camp Lucy floral team.

I got engaged October 2010 and got married at Camp Lucy in December 2012. I knew Camp Lucy would be my venue just by looking at their website! When my husband and I took the drive through beautiful Dripping Springs to Camp Lucy I knew I wouldn't need to look anywhere else. I remember calling my parents after our tour of the property and making our deposit that day! We didn't even look at other venues, Camp Lucy was everything I ever wanted! We were married in the beautiful french colonial chapel which was just heaven! All of our guests were blown away by this hidden gem outside of Austin. The staff at Camp Lucy were incredible to work with and always quick to respond. I'm just glad I got married here before any of my friends did, hehe! :) Thank you for the perfect day, I'd love to do a vow renewal when we're older here. What a magical place.
All the best,

My wedding was Alice in Wonderland themed and I could not imagine a better place than Camp Lucy for our special day. The hill country setting was magical! Our wedding was on May 19th, 2013 and we were joined by 300 guests. Even with such a large wedding, the venue accommodated everyone comfortably.
Before booking the venue, I had attended a couple other weddings at Camp Lucy. It was amazing to me how each bride was able to truly make the venue their own and I was so excited to do the same. We had an outdoor ceremony under the stone arch overlooking the beautiful Texas Hill Country. The path down the aisle was winding and lined with colorful potted flowers. After the ceremony we made use of the lawn for croquet and cocktail hour. We then moved to the beautiful reception hall where we had brunch and dancing.
I was also very pleased to have booked Camp Lucy’s staff for my floral arrangements as well. They did an amazing job! The arrangements were so colorful and creative – whimsical, just like my theme! The staff listened to my ideas and made sure they were implemented above and beyond my expectations.

If you're considering Camp Lucy for your venue, then look no further! This stunning hill-country retreat offers a variety of flexible spaces for a range of guest counts and styles. Of course, the in-house kitchen, manicured lawn space, and onsite chapel are a bonus, but it's the venues impeccable attention to detail and the attentive staff that really capture our love for the venue.
Although Camp Lucy lends itself to the natural rustic landscape, it boasts an appealing flavor of international flare with it's imported hand-made details from all over the world. As planners, we're always looking for a venue that offers our clients the very best and Camp Lucy is high on our list!

I would highly recommend Camp Lucy to anyone and everyone! Such a gorgeous back drop for our wedding day! The staff is professional and on point, assisting with anything you need. The reception hall is stunning and even with minimal decorations, the place looks amazing! We had 300 people at our wedding and there was more than plenty of space to dance, drink, socialize, and eat. I can't wait to attend someone else's wedding at this location!

When my daughter became engaged she was away at college and her fiancée was stationed in Japan so they had only seen Camp Lucy on-line. I went for a viewing and booked it for them site unseen. She was so excited when I text her and said "booked it", she thought I was joking. Camp Lucy is the perfect place for a wedding. The grounds are beyond beautiful and the history makes it even more special. The layout of the entire facility has a great flow and makes it easy for your guest to get around. Picture opportunities are endless.
Not once in the year of planning did I ever feel neglected by the Camp Lucy staff. They were always very quick to answer any questions or concerns and respond to my endless emails.
The day of my daughters wedding, our onsite coordinator, Diane, was so helpful; I couldn't have done it without her. She was always one step ahead of us and went way above and beyond her call of duty to make sure things ran smoothly. She was a God send for me that day and I'll never forget it.
I would definitely recommend Camp Lucy, and their staff, for any event you're planning.

From the time we began our internet search for venues we loved, we knew Camp Lucy was the place we wanted to say our vows! The venue offered so many beautiful areas with a stunning view and lots of unique touches to make it a dream wedding I always wanted! We can not wait to see our pictures from our photographers! The bridal cottage was everything a bride could ever want, the chapel added an extra touch in our pictures, and with all of our decor to bring out our personality and style, the reception hall was absolutely gorgeous! Without our wonderful wedding planner, LizzeBelle Event Planner, Petal Pushers Florist & Verdes Catering, we could not have had the wedding we had! Clint & I are loving all the wonderful compliments, "best wedding I have ever been to" to "couldnt have had a prettier venue"!! Just remember to plan to rent out everything and have lots of vendors to make it all come together! Thank you to all involved!!

Camp Lucy is one of the most beautiful venues that I have ever seen. As soon as we drove up the road and around the circle drive I was done searching for a venue. The combination of the intimate bridal suite, the beautiful chapel, the stunning grounds and pavilion and the spacious but inviting reception hall was everything I had dreamed of as a bride-to-be. This venue stands alone and doesn't need much to make your dream wedding a reality. We had such a wonderful time and got so many compliments from our guests about how beautiful Camp Lucy was. I truly cannot wait to see our pictures!
The staff was really great and I have to give a special shout-out to Brittany as she was so wonderful to work with.
As a bride with a budget, I will say be prepared to provide all other services as nothing comes with the price of renting the venue. You will need to find your florist, a caterer (which can only come from an approved list of somewhat pricey caterers), DJ/band, planner, bartenders, clean-up staff, guest lodging, etc. Also, be prepared to rent all of your necessities like tables, chairs, linens, glasses, etc.

Where do I begin? The minute I saw the website for Camp Lucy, I knew IT WAS THE PLACE FOR ME...However, as skeptical as I can be at times, I thought...surely, the pictures were edited and not a true representation of this place?? Well, the venue was even more beautiful than the pictures. I was sold on the location the minute I got off the car and smelled the hill country air...I want to live there! Camp Lucy's staff changed a few times on me during my planning however, who I ended up working with was Tammy Garrett and she was a "God Send." She was patient, professional and made me feel great about my choice and my decisions along the way (she was honest as well). The venue does have a list of caterers that are recommended...I chose to go with the in-house caterer Verdes Mexican Padilla. Another reason why this location as absolutely fantastic! The food and the service provided by Verdes (Joel and Allana) was extra special! Together, they made me feel like the "Queen" for a day! Again, I would pick Camp Lucy everytime!!

The setting and property are just stunning! You get the look of a million dollar wedding for a fairly reasonable price. If your a bridge on a budget like I was .. book off season and off peak days like Sunday.. you get just as much time but you get a better price. The staff is friendly and very helpful. The company is constantly growing and changing so just be sure your abreast of all the changing policies. You will not find a more amazing place to get married at than Camp Lucy its just a notch above all the rest. You get a chapel, an outdoor pavillion and patio as well as an events center so you can keep your guests moving and interested in one location. Highly recommend.. don't be fooled by the drive over.. its a little off the beaten path but well worth the drive. My wedding was the most perfect day and it was mainly bc I chose the right venue. When you choose a beautiful venue.. you needn't do much else. There is no putting lipstick on a pig in this venue... its just Goregous!

Our daughter got married at Camp Lucy in August and if the were 10 stars available we would give it all 10 stars. The grounds are beautiful, the chappel is great, and the event hall is fantastic. The staff at camp Lucy, well you just couldnt ask for any better. Everything went smooth as silk. If your planning a Hill Country Wedding this is the place. Thanks to all. Dewey and Debbie Fitzgerald

I just got married at Camp Lucy (May 2012) I cannot tell you how beautiful this place is! Kimberly, Andrea and all of the staff at Camp Lucy were very attentive, flexible and so easy to work with. They returned my calls and emails quickly. Make sure to budget the fact that almost everything.. from extra chairs, tables, down to utensils and linens will need to be rented. You will also need to have a wedding coordinator. The Brides Cottage is beautiful and was a great place for all of the girls to get ready. The chapel is incredible. .. intimate, great acoustics and unique. The reception hall is a perfect size and beautiful just as it is. We hired a band and the sound was excellent inside the hall. I would not change a thing... Camp Lucy is a special place to us. Beautiful, meaningful, and one-of-a kind.

This venue transformed our wedding into the fairy tale I've always dreamed about. You almost dont need decorations because the site is so beautiful. It is just far enough outside of Austin too so that it has the feel and privacy of a destination wedding. Be cautious of the contract, however. They dont mess around and will make sure you have legit vendors with legit insurance. :) Visit their website and see for yourself! www.camplucy.com
