st day of September. Kristin was so great to work with from start to finish. And the images she captured, both during our engagement session and on our wedding day, are truly amazing. We are still sorting through our wedding photos, deciding which one's to post and frame, because there are so many good one's. It's hard to narrow it down! We had our wedding photos back in two weeks. She them to us through an email link, and that leads you to a portal where you can view and download them. They were neatly organized into each segment of the day. They covered every significant moment from start to finish. It brought back a rush of great memories to go through the albums! We had never taken professional photos before, and Kristin made us feel at ease. She has a very calming presence, and you can tell she knows what she's doing. No matter the setting or moment, she knew exactly what poses would work best. She’s precise, thorough and has a great feel for the whole process. During the shoots, she’ll tell you exactly what poses to do, when to look at the camera or look away. For people like us, who aren’t naturals, it was a big help. She also gave great recommendations for locations to shoot at around Kansas City, both for the engagement and wedding photos. She led us to spots in the city we would've never found or thought of on our own. All of our wedding party photos were taken outside of Kauffman Performing Arts Center, and they are just so well done. Kristin is as nice as can be, but she knows when to take charge and did a great job of organizing everyone to ensure we got all of the shots we needed. We loved our experience with Pond Photography and look forward to the opportunity to work with her again. For anyone in the KC area planning to get married, Pond Photography would be an excellent choice!

On wedding day, she was prompt and helped us stick to our schedule which was so important to me. She was kind and melted right into my bridesmaids, and even as I started to get overwhelmed she helped me to take a breath.
Kristin offered great suggestions and at the same time she made sure to keep an eye out for the candid moments. I'm so grateful for some of the more causal shots that she captured during the day with my groom and parents. They will be life long treasures.
She also really made sure to capture the details. The shots of our rings and invitations are beautiful, and she made sure to capture all of the family photos that we listed for her. She gave suggestions on how long the ceremony needed be to make sure we got the shots and helped us to stand up straight and smile bigger during the day.
The photos are beautiful and its so nice to have all of them digitally so quickly. We only waited two weeks before receiving access to an entire digital library of images, and its so easy to download and buy prints.

Feeling comfortable was important, as this person would be capturing both our engagement photos and the day of the wedding. We definitely felt right at home with Kristin through the whole process and couldn't be happier with our decision. She was professional, timely, and detailed. For our engagement photos, she accommodated all of our odd requests (shooting at the bar we met, bringing our very shy dog, and and outfit change). Earlier this year, she found out she would be having her second baby right around the time of our wedding. She was upfront from the get go, and had a back up plan just in case she came early, but reassured me we would be in good hands either way. Kristin ended up still shooting our wedding about a week before her daughter was born and was still so amazing! I don't know how she does it. We also loved our second shooter, Nancy. They were both so patient and moved around the day with such ease, it was like they weren't even there! The photos do a wonderful job of story-telling the entire day, and we now have priceless memories captured beautifully. From my dad tearing up during the ceremony, to doing the chicken dance at the reception, we will cherish these memories forever. Thank you Kristin and Nancy!!
