I can't wait to see the actual photos! I would definitely recommend this venue to people and some of our guests from Georgia said they might look into using it in the future because of how well it went.

She was super quick to send previews and the full package. My husband and I adore our photos!! During all the planning sessions, Caitlin and Caroline were helpful and easy to work with which was great as I did not hire a wedding planner. There were no hidden/surprise costs leading up to the day or afterwards. We used the venue's DJ for ceremony music and hired an outside band for the reception. The food was great and the venue provided gluten/lactose free meals for my guests that have allergies (no cost). They helped me pull off a birthday surprise for a friend during the reception and allowed my dad to bring wine he loved from outside the venue. Overall, we loved our wedding day and were super satisfied with the level of care and service that Vecoma provided. I am so thankful that we chose them!

We had the time of our lives with him. We found Vecoma back in 2022 when we first started our wedding planning and figuring out where to have our reception and, the moment I stepped on the grounds of this venue, I was sold. It is a smaller, more intimate place with a beautiful river in the back and stunning greenery to look at around the venue as well. It is truly breath taking for photos. We love Vecoma and highly recommend this location for a wedding, reception, or any other special occasion that someone may want to have at this venue. You will not be disappointed.

The staff were incredibly kind, and I felt that they truly cared about me and the success of the wedding. The venue is beautiful, with a perfect balance of indoor and outside spaces. We were able to tailor the decorations based on our preferences, and Vecoma walked us through all the options. Whenever we had questions about certain aspects of the wedding, Vecoma had thoughtful responses and were flexible with our preferences (you could tell that they know what they are doing!). I even received compliments after the wedding about how good the food was. We used Vecoma’s in-house photography team, and they knew all the great spots, which made the pre- and post-ceremony picture process much faster. The photos were excellent, and the turnaround time was incredibly quick (about one week). We also used DJ Kirk (who we learned about through Vecoma), who DJs many weddings at Vecoma and knows how to smoothly facilitate the A/V situation for the ceremony. DJ Kirk also tailored the music to our liking and kept the dance floor exciting. Overall, Vecoma’s staff and recommended vendors allowed me to focus on enjoying the wedding. It was a great experience!

to get to, the venue feels very secluded and quiet. There is plenty of paved parking right in front of the building as well. The ceremony is held in front of an arbor surrounded by trees and the sound of the Yellow River, and we decided to bring only a small arbor decoration because the area is so beautiful. The ballroom for the reception was gorgeous as well and we decided not to bring much except some centerpieces - candles and flowers - because the room was already decorated so well. And we didn't even have to bring vases because they provided them. For a busy couple like us, not having to think much about decorations for the ceremony or the reception hall was a big help. The staff handled everything else from arranging the tables to setting out tablecloths and even lighting the candles. This kept a lot of the burden of set up off of us and our party. Second, the staff, especially Caroline and Caitlin, were phenomenal. From the very first time we contacted them, they were quick to respond and so helpful. I would send long lists of questions and usually within the day I had detailed answers to all of them. We also had two meetings, at 6 and 2 weeks before our day, to discuss all the details; on the day of, everything we had discussed was taken care of. They were so kind, especially at our 2 week meeting when I was stressed about all the details. They said that everything would come together and that they and their staff were there help on that day, so I didn't have to plan every single thing out. And they were right! When the day arrived, so many things happened so smoothly - because they've been planning weddings for a long time and know what they're doing. And Caroline was essentially the day-of coordinator so we didn't have to hire anyone. The rest of the staff was amazing as well - their positive attitudes really contributed to a great energy throughout the day. At the end, their staff handled the vast majority of clean up, so our families didn't have to stress about it! Third - they were so affordable! The cost breakdown on their website seemed extremely reasonable, compared to what we were seeing for other places. We reached out and they gave us a quote for our guest count, and it was close to what we expected! This helped us stay close to our ideal budget for the wedding without settling for something "cheap" - because this place doesn't feel cheap at all! Fourth, the DJ they recommend, Kirk Moten, was fantastic. He sent us lists of songs, templates for the reception, and answers to our many questions in a timely manner as well. He told us that we could be as involved as we wanted to be. We decided to pick out all the songs we wanted for the dance floor, and he stuck to that list. He was also amazing at keeping the energy up, and he made both the ceremony and reception flow so smoothly. We definitely recommend booking him with the venue! Last but definitely not least, the food was amazing! All our guests raved about it too. We had the Italian dinner and all of it was delicious. Overall, we couldn't recommend this venue highly enough! It was the perfect size for our 100 person wedding, they made everything so smooth, they were so accommodating of all our questions and requests, and it was beautiful. We truly enjoyed the entire experience.

l backdrop of the yellow river but there are things that could have been improved on my day. First, when the bridal party arrived the AC was turned off in the upstairs room so we were drenching in sweat getting dressed. We told the photographer ( forget her name, not Caroline) that it was hot and she turned on the AC for us. This should have been done in advance especially if you know you have people coming who will have hair and makeup done. Second, when we arrived I could not find any wedding coordinator at all. No one that I had been in contact with the entire time was there the whole night of my wedding. Caroline had left Kirk in charge ( their in house DJ). So the guidance for the wedding was off. When the bridal party arrived, the in house photographer hadn't even taken the groomsmen photos yet. She said she was waiting on the coordinator to tell her. I didn't even know Caroline or any other coordinator would not be there that day. I had to tell the photographer when to take their photos and it made me feel like I was the coordinator. Third, the placement of the tables was not how they sent me in the floor plan layout like they originally sent me. So we had to scramble the day of to rearrange our table numbers the way they sent them to match, so people would know where to sit. Fourth, after the wedding was over the entire bridal party didn't know where we line up to enter for introduction and when to enter. The DJ we hired had to come outside to ask us where the coordinator was so that he could know when to announce us. It just seemed like I was doing more work as a coordinator and bride the day of the wedding.

Upon arrival, we were greeted by Caroline who graciously showed us around her family’s venue. From our very first interaction, she was courteous, informative and extremely welcoming. The interior is beautiful however once we saw the grounds, we were sold. The natural beauty of the location, the landscaping, the history of the land, and the river all present as the most ethereal wedding location. During our ceremony, we could hear the birds chirping, the river flowing and the breeze in the trees. What a treat for our guests and us! Afterwards, as we stood upon the river banks and Caroline took our wedding pictures, a beautiful butterfly dropped into the space between us and lingered there. Our reception was equally memorable. The food was delicious, the staff was attentive, professional and courteous at all times. No wedding planner or decorator was necessary and they helped to keep our itinerary on track. We had a wonderful time at Vecoma and highly recommend this facility for your next milestone event. Caroline and her team are amazing to work with and will definitely take excellent care of you and your guests.

Not only is the venue perfectly impressionable, the staff inside was welcoming and professional. Our first encounter with Caroline was simple snd easy. Upon entering the main reception area with beautiful high beams and balances, we felt at home, The outside grounds are well maintained and kept with picture perfect backgrounds and a thousands ways to add your own spin of decor. Did I mention, it’s also all inclusive??? Which made it so simple to plan our dream wedding. The florist and bakery were separate but both came highly recommended from The Vecoma and did not disappoint! Meg and Katelyn helped me navigate through the reception selections, while Caroline guided us through our rehearsal details and took the most beautiful pictures of our special day. There was also other staff that took great care of us on our wedding day! Everything was smooth and well organized. Our DJ was included and communicated very well with us for our music and moments. The most surprising part was that the food was absolutely fantastic. My guests wanted seconds and went back for more! Hats off to the chef!! My husband and I are truly thankful that we picked such a wonderful venue. Our guests raved about how beautiful everything was and our pictures have been the talk of the town. My husband has looked at our pictures over and over repeating how wonderful everything was and how it felt like a fairytale. Big thanks to the team at The Vecoma at Yellow River. wedding day ran smoothly and my husband and I felt very taken care of for the entire night. We were a little nervous about the food as we both are "foodies". They knocked it out of the park. Our guests said all the appetizers at cocktail hour were amazing and the food was great at dinner as well. The venue is in a gorgeous location and the fall colors were definitely prominent during our wedding. The tall guy from Philadelphia (we forgot his name) was awesome!! He was so nice and very attentive to both Kyle and me. My mom also commented on how great he was as well. Kyle and I both had expectations of the evening and Vecoma far surpassed them. Thank you all so much for making our day INCREDIBLE!!! IT WAS AMAZING!!! The only piece of feedback I have is for the DJ (DJ Kirk) recommended by Vecoma. The DJ was good but my husband and I had very specific requests and we met with him to go over what we wanted. There were multiple songs played that 'cleared the dance floor'. We didn't want any slow songs to be played and just wanted to have our guests dance the night away. We gave a long list of songs we suggested him to play and suggested playing songs for a shorter amount of time than the whole song. Overall, it wasn't terrible by any means, it just wasn't what Kyle and I had asked for or wanted. We wanted to comment on this in case any couple wants something specific we suggest going with a different DJ. If you just want a standard DJ he was good and the day ran smoothly.

One of my favorite little extras is that they have a kegarator to serve draft beer, which was great since most of my friends and I enjoy craft beer. On the day of, Caroline and her staff took care of everything. We had a very strict timeline to try and fit everything, and they helped make sure that the timeline was adhered to. We heard incredible remarks from our guests, but the number one compliment was how good the food was. Everyone loved everything. We had salmon, blackened chicken, porkloin, mashed potatoes, and redbeans and rice. Everything was incredible. We could not have dreamed of a better venue. I have been recommending them whenever anyone asks.

iginally scheduled in June but I decided to postpone until October due to COVID. This happened with no hiccups and no extra fees! I used the in house DJ who was great. My guests are also still talking about how good the food was. The venue has many great options to have your ceremony. I chose to have mine on the covered patio and it was amazing! We absolutely loved everything about Vecoma and would definitely recommend it!!

Also, I don't see much mention of this, but this venue is SUCH a good value! My husband and I have incredibly busy jobs so we were looking to have as all inclusive an experience as possible. Through them, we booked the venue (obviously), photographer, DJ, caterer and while we had our own officiant, we could have done that too. They made this process so easy, I was actually worried I wasn't doing enough planning at some points. COVID: They went above and beyond to allow us to reschedule and alter our plans when COVID hit. They listened to all our concerns and provided a safe, distanced environment that all of our guests complimented us on. I had heard so many horror stories from other brides about vendors not honoring contracts and not working with them, but our experience could not be further from that. Caroline made it clear that she was on our team and would do as much as she could to give us the perfect day in spite of it all. Day of: Our day-of coordinator, Kayla, was an absolute superstar. She kept things rolling, families in line and vendors in check: our day could not have gone any smoother (at least from our perspective) and we were so grateful to have her with us! This wedding had been a year and a half in the making and we had faced so many hurdles, but everything just went perfectly. She made sure that we were taken care of and had any food or drink we could want while still being attentive to her own staff. The day flew by, but we never felt rushed by her or her team. Caroline and her team were great to work with, and I can't recommend them enough! We'll miss working with them!

However, all my dreams for the perfect wedding day came to fruition - down to the most minute details. This venue is simply amazing. Hidden in the city of Snellville lies the perfect location to host an indoor or outdoor ceremony. I wanted to get married outside by the arch, and was very disappointed when my fiancé recommended that we hold the ceremony indoors due to the heat (thank God I listened to him); however, Caroline was able to show me how lovely a ceremony would be indoors and even allowed us to bring in our own arch so I could still have the effect I was looking for. We ended up planning the wedding in about two weeks, but everyone who attended (in person and via Zoom) said that it looked like we had been planning this event for months. I owe all of this to Caroline, her staff, and my incredible Wedding Planner Kimberly Sands. From the moment you pull into the parking area, the remoteness and serenity of the location puts your mind at ease. During our initial meeting with Caroline and Jack, every question was answered in a positive manner and if I asked for something out of the norm, Caroline found a way to accommodate my request. During our rehearsal, my pastor was unable to attend, but Caroline and Kimberly worked together to create the vision for my day based on my wishes. I did not even have a wedding program ready yet, but somehow, they understood my desires and executed them flawlessly. On the day of our wedding, Caroline and her staff were not only attentive and responsive from the moment we arrived, they did everything within their power to make the day COMPLETELY STRESS FREE! I immediately when upstairs to get ready and every time I uttered, “ask Caroline…” or “find Caroline…” or “I need Caroline…” she magically appeared. I truly felt like a princess for the day. Kimberly and Caroline collaborated to ensure the décor, centerpieces, music, seating, lighting, you name it, was up to my specifications. When I walked through the doors to meet my future husband, I was amazed at the transformation of the room. To put it simply – I was stunned. The day went off magically, successfully, and beautifully. We did not have time to do a tasting before the wedding, but everyone commented on the exceptional taste and quality of the meal. Caroline also served as our photographer and we already have our photos back and they are truly superb. Many couples have decided to put their weddings on hold due to COVID-19 – I was one of them. Yet, Caroline and her staff helped us create a memorable occasion while staying safe and social distancing. I could go on and on about our experience at Vecoma At the Yellow River, but my recommendation is for you to give them the opportunity to make your wedding day the most incredible day of your life!

o the city, this is the perfect venue for you (LOOK NO FURTHER). We love the outdoors and this venue is gorgeous and located right on the river bank. The fact that catering is through the venue made everything very simple as well. We found the pricing to be extremely reasonable through Vecoma compared to other venues we considered which were not as nice. We had the benefit of planning for over a year and had the opportunity to see the venue a few times during the year and it is beautiful year round. There are lots of special nooks and areas for pictures which we loved as well. The indoor reception room is very tastefully decorated and comfortable. It is a nice blank canvas for any kind of decor you may have in mind. Caroline, the venue owner, and all staff members are extremely professional and easy to work with both on wedding day and planning. Our wedding fell right in the middle of the pandemic which required us to reschedule from April to July. Caroline and Vecoma kindly and graciously allowed us to reschedule easily and without extra fees. They helped us do everything possible to keep our guests safe. They had a page long list of procedures they followed to ensure guest and staff safety while remaining flexible to allow us to make our day just as special. This is the perfect venue for "coronavirus times" because there was ample spacing outdoors for ceremony chairs to be spaced and there is a huge deck for outdoor dining and mingling/cocktail hour. Staff all wore masks, and there was hand sanitizer EVERYWHERE. I really appreciated that the venue did everything they could to keep all of our guests safe. Caroline offers day of coordination and was extremely available when we needed her for guidance throughout the process. She always returned calls promptly and was accommodating and easy to work with. We had a photographer and she even took a couple cool photos for us and provided them to us free of charge. The catering is through the venue and is wonderful. We did bbq dinner for our 4th of July wedding and it was really very tasty. Bar services were excellent as well. Once again, I cant thank Caroline or Vecoma enough for making our special day so wonderful. Even under the crazy world circumstances it felt very personal and like Caroline wanted our wedding to happen so badly. The venue and staff did everything they could to make our day special and worked wonderfully with our other vendors. The venue is truly a gem of a space and would be perfect for other kinds of events as well. I would encourage anyone to reach out to Caroline for any needs. The venue space is owned by her and has been in her family for over 20 years and it shows. It felt like we were welcomed into her home for our special day. THANK YOU VECOMA. You all are amazing.

oom inside. The food is also pretty good and it comes with a decent size dance floor at a pretty good price. As far as the venue itself, Vecoma is 5 stars. My reason for only giving Vecoma 2 stars is due to the experience. If you want "stress free" or actually want things a certain way, I'd go with somewhere else. The staff were all very nice and helpful, but I cannot say the same for the coordinator of the weddings, Caroline. Caroline was very difficult to work with, she does the "southern charm thing" where she pretends things are all good and fine, but she's actually a completely different way. Caroline wanted several things about the wedding to be "her way" from the decorations, to flowers, to how many tables were set up. She placed extra chairs out for "social distancing" which made no sense considering they were all on top of each other, but there was a lot of empty seats which made the ceremony look awkwardly small. My florist had to argue with her to decorate the arch (which you see decorated in so many pictures), because Caroline thinks the arch is pretty and doesn't like having flowers on it. Caroline also argued with my mother at the rehearsal, making for an awkward situation. Today, (about 3 weeks after our wedding) I found out that Caroline yelled at my florist (who was a family friend) because Caroline didn't like the way my florist was setting up the reception tables. My florist was setting them up as we discussed, using the bouquets as centerpieces, but Caroline didn't like that. Caroline even checked with me and knew what I wanted day of and yelled at my florist because she didn't like it. I was furious when I found out my younger sister had to step in to stop her from how she was treating my florist. We ended up having our centerpieces the way Caroline wanted them because my florist just said that's how she had to do it and something seemed wrong, but I didn't press the issue. In addition, Caroline followed me and my husband around everywhere. She asked at the beginning if they could put some photos on their website, turns out that meant she was going to follow us everywhere we went to do an entire photoshoot to use as advertising for the next few weeks as no one else was having a wedding due to covid. Our date was May 23rd, we looked at cancelling our wedding to avoid covid issues, but were told that we would lose all of the money we had paid (we had already paid everything early). We were given the option to reschedule for a date within 6 months or we could have an elopement and they would still take $3,000. We decided to cut our wedding size down instead to avoid losing all of the money, but to still have a small celebration. I felt that was pretty reasonable, but it was my fiancé's only frustration. All in all, the wedding was beautiful, but I can't say I enjoyed it. I was so stressed my husband had to keep telling me to relax, but I couldn't because I was just waiting for the next thing that Caroline didn't like and was going to cause and issue about. I contemplated not leaving a review because I didn't want to be rude, but after what my family finally told me a few weeks after the wedding about how Caroline acted, I decided to leave one.
