Could not have imagined having anyone other than Meli! She was easy to communicate with throughout the whole wedding planning process, and was very flexible when we were coordinating my hair and makeup trial (I ended up working with Rose Renda for my hair who was also excellent). I had Meli do makeup for my mom, 4 bridesmaids, and I for my big day. She and Rose brought a very calming and positive energy the morning of as we were all getting ready and we were able to juggle hair and makeup for all of us within 3 hours. We all looked and felt our best, and my makeup lasted through an entire day of pictures, dancing, and running around on a humid summer day in June. I would definitely book Meli for any wedding or event.

Meli did such an amazing job; it was just enough makeup to enhance my natural features without making me feel like I had stuff caked on my face all day. I have very pale Irish skin that turns bright red in front of a crowd, and she managed to keep it totally controlled with such a light feel. She was also very quick but did not rush - I think efficient is the best word! Five girls were all ready to go under 2 hours. Quick, talented, affordable, and incredibly friendly! I would highly recommend Meli, she knows what she's doing.

The make up application started at 9ish and she transformed everyone by 1ish. She didn’t rush anyone; she stayed for touch ups for the photographer and videographer’s sessions. Everyone’s look stayed the course throughout the entire wedding, which started at 7pm & finished at 1am. Meli is personable, reliable, professional. I can’t recommend her highly enough!

My bridesmaids also looked out of this world &&! my bridesmaids were multiple ethnicities, Spanish, African American, that is no easy task to be able to do make-up WELL for that many different ethnicities. My bridesmaids were very happy. Her price point is fair and reasonable in my opinion especially in this business. Somehow, she also works quickly we finished with hair and makeup well before the deadline but thank god we did, I needed the extra time for a bra issue was having with my wedding dress. You cannot go wrong with Meli, she also respects whatever your wishes are regarding your makeup and your style, which not every artist does that. Again, I HIGHLY recommend Meli you will not regret it.

Everyone was very impressed with how hard she worked! She kept us on schedule so we were able to walk out the door on time. I was impressed by how she was calm and collected while all the chaos was happening around her. All the ladies were so happy with their makeup, and each of us chose very different looks. From the young to the old we all looked glam and felt fabulous. I also changed my inspiration a bit from the trial to the wedding day, and she was more than flexible with adding a bit more glam to the look. She also communicated with me in the months leading up to the wedding, and I never felt like I was left in the dark about anything. My makeup lasted the whole day and I was so sad to take it off since that was the most beautiful I have ever felt. It even lasted through a torrential downpour in NYC as we were running to our hotel room - I looked in the mirror and still had the full glam face on! I would recommend Meli highly and am so happy I got to work with her!
