We booked Cherlyn for our wedding and engagement photos and she did such an incredible job! The day was supposed to be clear and beautiful for our engagement photos but once we got to the beach - the fog rolled in but the photos ended up being so beautiful and very SF. It couldn't have turned out better! For our wedding, we don't like doing many posed photos and really wanted her to just capture all the moments throughout our wedding and they all turned out amazing! She is so easy to work with and laid back. We're so glad we booked Cherlyn for our wedding!

Where do we start on how much we enjoyed working with Cherlyn? As many couples did due to the COVID-19 pandemic, my wife and I had to push our wedding back almost a year (from November of 2020 to October 2021). Throughout the turmoil of moving our wedding date and working with multiple vendors without a coordinator, Cherlyn displayed such a high level of empathy, flexibility, communication, and professionalism. For the day of our wedding, Cherlyn and her assistant were on top of it. They managed to capture some great moments such as some "behind the scenes" shots of my wife and her bridesmaids at the hotel, along with me and my groomsmen hanging out, before arriving at the venue. They really managed to help us relax and just have fun while taking group shots, as well. There were so many great shots during the reception and ceremony, but I can't post them all here, lol. Aside from the photos taken, we were also super pleased with the photo booth and all the fun props! If we could somehow re-do our special day all over again, there is no doubt that we would choose to work with Cherlyn. We highly recommend C Wagner Photography!

Cherlyn is an absolute gem. She curated the most beautiful photos to represent our wedding day. Throughout the entire wedding planning process Cherlyn was responsive, flexible, and organized. With COVID creating chaos with our wedding planning, Cherlyn was one of the only constants in our plans. She captured our intimate, pandemic friendly, backyard wedding with such grace, and we will treasure these photos forever. She is professional, kind, and easy going. I am thankful Cherlyn captured our micro-wedding, and I cannot wait to have her skillfully capture our reception when we are able to have it in 2021.

Cherlyn was available last minute for our San Francisco City Hall wedding. She was a lifesaver! On the day of, she really put us at ease, being familiar with city hall and the whole marriage process there. The photos were great of course, both thanks to her photography and her familiarity with the location. Very thankful that she helped make our special day go so smoothly

Cherlyn was awesome. Easy communication, extremely organized. She was flexible and kind. And best of all, her photos are spectacular. She really captured the moment. Our group really didn't want a lot of posed photos and we had extremely hot weather and bright sunlight ... Cherlyn was able to roll with all of those constraints. Cherlyn is amazing! She was an absolute delight to work with for our wedding at San Francisco City Hall and really went above and beyond for us, our pictures turned out incredible and we are so happy we entrusted her with our special day.

Cherlyn is an excellent photographer and is reasonably priced! After talking with Cherlyn after a few other photographers, I knew Cherlyn would be an ideal fit because she seemed very down-to-earth and easy to get along with. This was important because my husband and I can be camera shy, and I knew we would need a friendly and patient photographer! We booked Cherlyn for engagement photos and 5 hours at our wedding. Our photos turned out fabulously, so much so that we didn’t even know we could look that good in photos and we have many favorites from both photo shoots! I am glad we did the engagement session. This allowed us to feel comfortable taking pictures before the wedding. Cherlyn helped guide us in poses and wandered with us around Sausalito to capture beautiful sunset and bay shots. We ended up going to Saulsilto and taking pictures on a ship that my husband helps charter for his work-- Cherlyn in fact encouraged us to do this, in part because she has a background in sailing. I am so happy we did! Our nautical-themed engagement shoot is one we’ll fondly remember, full of its ropes, helms and masts (and a few Titanic shots at the bow =P). For our wedding, we had originally planned to do photos before the wedding. We ended up changing this last minute for fear that the nearby botanical garden would dirty the dress, and I really appreciate how flexible and understanding Cherlyn was! We re-scheduled the botanical garden shoot to after the wedding (really glad we did this! The dress picked up quite a bit of debris) and started photos when guests arrived. Cherlyn was so patient! I felt bad because it was so hard for us to walk anywhere and take pictures without diving into conversations with guests, and family and friends (and me and my husband even!) at times ignored instructions from Cherlyn. She definitely has experience dealing with chaos! Cherlyn also seemed to be everywhere on our wedding day. I don’t know how she captured so many moments, but I am so glad she did. I feel like the whole day and our happiness as well as others are represented throughout the photos. We highly recommend Cherlyn! Definitely book her if you can!

We met Cherlyn through a friend and we are so glad we got to work with her. Cherlyn is an amazing person and even better photographer. We booked our engagement shoot, rehearsal dinner, wedding and photo booth with her. Her use of natural lighting is simply breath taking. Her photos came out absolutely perfect for all events. She was able to provide our photos is such a timely manner. When we sent out the pictures to our loved ones, they all commented how quickly we received the photos and how beautiful they all turned out! On the day of the wedding her team was great to work with. It was Cherlyn and Kari and both were so patient with our family and friends. We love Cherlyn and look forward to working with her for future milestone celebrations.

It's hard to accurately put into words how wonderful Cherlyn is! Her work attracted me from the very beginning: very light and airy and story telling and natural. Cherlyn took our engagement photos beautifully. She was also extremely friendly and warm and made us feel very comfortable in front of the camera. She was also very accommodating to the clients' need. If I could give Cherlyn more than 5 stars I totally would!

We found Cherlyn through a friend's recommendation and decided on hiring her after we sifted through SO many photogs. After our first meeting with Cherlyn, we were so impressed by her creativity and personality that we knew we wanted to hire her. She was amazing and flexible and really tuned in to what was important to us. She even travelled with us to Yosemite to take our engagement photos which we love SO much! All of our bridal party gave endless compliments to how she was always there at special moments but never in the way. Loved her so much and so happy we found her!

She is amazing! As soon as we met with her we knew we wanted her to be our photographer. She didn't make it feel staged or fake but really captured us and who we are as a couple. We completely felt comfortable and she has a great sense of humor. We received our pictures faster than we expected and she captures all the special moments of the day. Looking thru the pictures made us relive our wedding day all over again.

Cherlyn was phenomenal. She arrived way before our appointment time, and started taking photos. She was incredibly warm and gregarious and made us feel comfortable as soon as we met her at our wedding venue (SF City Hall). She knew the whole process of the SF City Hall wedding intimately and answered all the questions we had and guided us through the check-in and the marriage ceremony. She also knew all little hidden corners of the City Hall and took magical photos with nobody else in the background, as if we were the only ones there! I'd recommend her for any couple!

Cherlyn was absolutely incredible, highly professional and very friendly. We had a lot of fun during the shoot, she made us feel very comfortable throughout the entire process and the photos turned out really great. From the very first interaction prior to booking, Cherlyn was always attentive and prompt, she was patient with all our requests and very accommodating with dates especially given the poor weather forecasts. We could not be happier with the results and the extremely fast turn around time was the cherry on top of a really great experience. We highly recommend Cherlyn and would love to find opportunities to work with her again!

Where do I even begin? First off Cherlyn is AWESOME. I am a videographer based in LA and can honestly say she is one of the best photographers I've ever had the chance to work with. The client raved about her work and I can personally say the work she showed me was incredible. She really makes the day such a positive work environment and ensures everyone not only gets amazing photos but can do so with a smile on their faces.

Absolutely nailed the pictures. Very aware of lighting, angles/places to be during the ceremony in order to capture those special moments, and a wonderful personality that easily blended into our wedding day. We couldn't be happier and couldn't ask for anything more. Absolutely top notch.

Cherlyn was a perfect choice for our San Francisco destination wedding! We live about 400 miles away, so planning was a little *extra* stressful. Cherlyn made us feel comfortable from the very first phone call. We flew up and met her for lunch, and I knew she was the photographer for us. I can’t stress enough how comfortable she made us feel. She was so quick to respond to all of my emails. I had my freak out moments, and Cherlyn's "Don't worry, I got this" confidence really saved me (multiple times). Day of, Cherlyn and her assistant Nikki met me at City Hall and helped coordinate with my husband so we wouldn't see each other before the first look photos. She and Nikki were so efficient that we ended up with enough time to get the family shots done before the ceremony. This left plenty of time post-ceremony to get TONS of beautiful shots all over City Hall. Somehow she managed to make it look like we were the only ones in the entire place! We had rented a trolley to take us and our guests around the city to explore. Nikki herded everyone onto the trolley, they both hopped on, and we got even more amazing candid shots of all of our guests enjoying themselves. We had such a blast that day and Cherlyn captured all of our adventures perfectly. I can't recommend her more!!

I'm so lucky to have met Cherlyn and have her photograph my wedding! Cherlyn is a true light and a joy to be around. Not only did she take amazing photos, but she was super helpful throughout the day. What can we say about Cherlyn? She did a perfect job capturing a perfect day. My wife and I got married six months ago, but we first started talking to Cherlyn about photographing our wedding well before that. From our very first meeting (at a bar- cool points for Cherlyn), she was attentive, kind, creative and did everything possible to align our photographs to our vision for the wedding. We met once or twice again leading up the big day to re-confirm details and every meeting was a breeze. On the actual wedding day, Cherlyn and her assistant Emma were flawless. They captured everything we wanted, took us around a variety of locations at our beautiful venue to take pictures, and got some great "golden hour" sunset shots. While we took lots of pictures, we never felt that we were being taken away from hanging out with friends and family. Cherlyn and Emma were pretty much always in the background, unnoticed, taking shots of our special day. If you're considering anybody else besides Cherlyn for your wedding, just stop. They won't be as good as she is. Our photos came back to us just a few weeks after the wedding and they are AMAZING. We've had several people tell us they are the best wedding photos they've ever seen (really). And we agree! Thanks again Cherlyn for doing such an incredible job capturing our wedding!

My wife and I got married in February of 2018 and Cherlyn captured it all perfectly! We met up with Cherlyn a couple months ahead of time over coffee and casually talked about our wedding day timeline (about which she had all kinds of great suggestions because we had no idea what the heck we were doing). She brought pics of past weddings she’d done and they were beautiful. It was such a good experience because she’s super friendly and easy to talk to (I could cry right now it was so special - also wedding stuff makes me cry). We were able to relax because we didn’t have to think about photography at all after that. It was just handled. At the wedding Cherlyn was a fly on the wall. It was amazing. I hardly even noticed her. When it was time for portraits she was quick and easy and let the shots happen naturally. A short time after the wedding, my wife and I received the photos and had the best evening on the couch looking through them!! Thank you so much Cherlyn!!!

If you’re looking for a documentary/journalistic photographer for your wedding, Cherlyn is the one!! She’s super easy and fun to work with and professional all at the same time. With Cherlyn, I felt like I was hanging out with a friend on the day of which made me feel really comfortable, at ease and less stressed. Max, who was our 2nd photographer on the day of, was also really nice and easy to work with. Our photos turned out so beautiful.
