, you listed two main concerns. We have thoroughly researched both with our team and other vendors from that day (though we were not able to connect with your planner). First, the missing glasses—here is what we have discovered: These were never reported to us prior to your review. We have confirmed that all of the items you ordered—including the stemless glassware—were delivered by our crew. The items were neatly labeled and left in the usual drop-off location. We later learned that another company’s event items were also at the venue. At some point, people on site began taking items from both stacks, which created confusion. Your items were delivered early in the morning, and our office remained open until 5 p.m. At no point during the day did we receive a call from your planner or anyone else reporting missing glasses—not even when we returned the call from the night before regarding the cancellation of your ceremony chairs. Had we been notified, we could have quickly verified the delivery and helped locate the glasses on site. They were in fact still there when our crew returned for pickup the following day. Second, the cancellation of your ceremony chairs. You canceled the chairs after hours the night before the wedding. As stated in the rental contract that every client reads and signs: ~Under the Cancellation Policy: Cancellations within 7 days of the event receive no refund. ~Under the Inclement Weather Policy: There are no refunds due to weather, including rain, wind, beach erosion, cold weather, or other acts of God. Clients are advised to have a “Plan B” for inclement weather. We work very hard for every event and strive to be the best at what we do. We consider it an honor to work with each couple and often begin planning 6–12+ months in advance. Because of this commitment, we often have to decline other requests so we can give our full attention to the couples we do accept—which is why our cancellation policy is firm. We understand your event did not go exactly as planned. However, both of the concerns you raised were outside our control, and at least one could have been resolved if we had been given the opportunity to help at the time.
