We had such a wonderful experience with Dolce Designs! She not only made our beautiful wedding cake, but she also made our wedding shower cake, and both were absolutely amazing. From the very beginning, she was professional, kind, and incredibly transparent about pricing and everything that was included. There were never any unexpected costs or surprises, which we truly appreciated.
She offered so many delicious flavors to choose from, which made the process even more fun and allowed us to find options that were perfect for us and our guests. The cakes were not only beautiful and exactly what we envisioned, but they tasted absolutely delicious as well! Our guests loved them!
She was always respectful of our contract and followed through with everything that was agreed upon. Throughout the entire process, she was kind, compassionate, patient, and understanding. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but she made the cake portion of the experience feel easy and reassuring. It was clear that she genuinely cared about making our celebrations special and making sure we were happy.

en free/celiac. It turned out wonderfully! No one got sick, and it truly didn’t taste gluten-free at all. It was delicious and something all of our guests could enjoy, even those who can fortunately eat gluten.
The design was beautiful overall, and was exactly what I envisioned. However the colors were much more muted and not really what I was expected or had requested. I am willing to chalk that up to a miscommunication errors that come up when using a wedding planner as the main POC, not necessarily the fault of the vendor. While the flower colors weren’t exactly what we had envisioned, it still came together nicely and looked lovely on display.
We’re very grateful for the care that went into making our cake and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking for a gluten-free wedding cake option!

When we did a tasting with Jesi, we didn’t plan on making a decision the same day. After a few bites, we knew we found our baker! The cake was amazing, and we immediately felt at ease that she would make everything perfect.
On the day of, Jesi setup everything beautifully and our guests LOVED the cake. We had very health conscious individuals that came back multiple times for cake. She also helped accommodate our dietary restrictions with cupcake alternatives.
This is one of the best decisions we made for our wedding and highly recommend her!

We got our own topper and asked her to include it on the cake and to place fresh flowers from our florist. She listened to our requests and it came out better than we expected! Please do reach out to Jesi for a tasting as her cakes are certainly unique. What stood out the most was how her buttercreams did not have a gritty sugar texture and was not overwhelmingly sweet. We did many tastings around Houston, and hers was the best in flavors, taste, and price. We hope to reach out to her again for more celebrations in the future!

If I'm being honest, other than getting married, her cake is what I was looking forward to the most. I reached out a few times to ask a question or two, and she would get back to me within a few days; her weekends are always busy with all the cakes she makes and her family! She kept in touch the week of the wedding on 11/12/2022 and asked about all the small details to make sure everything was perfect. . We almost settled for just some “ok” cake. Then, we found Jesi at Dolce Designs and scheduled a tasting. Firstly, best tasting ever! We were able to try 3 different flavor cakes and 3 different frosting options. They have SOOO many different options so it was hard to choose, but at the tasting we were just blown away with everything. Jesi was so friendly and knowledgeable and what we tasted was so good. We knew right away during the tasting that Jesi was going to be our wedding cake baker.
We decided to do a 2 tier wedding cake with chocolate cake on bottom, almond on top and nearly naked dulce de leche frosting. When we finally saw the final product we were blown away. Jesi had done such a great job at designing our cake, it was absolutely beautiful. The best part though, it was amazingly delicious. We had 2 pieces of cake left over after the wedding. Our friends and family are still raving about the cake.
