For couples who want their first dance to feel like them, Salsa Fever On2 in Jersey City designs wedding choreography around your music, your story and your comfort level. Founder Mario “B” Gonzalez has more than 25 years of experience as a performer, choreographer and teacher. He has danced on stages including Madison Square Garden and Lincoln Center, worked alongside Latin music legends like El Gran Combo and the Fania All-Stars, and appeared on TLC’s Say Yes to the Dress. He has also taught and performed in more than 36 countries.
Choose a romantic first dance, a lively Latin number or a surprise routine for your wedding party. We work with beginners every day, and our instructors keep lessons relaxed, encouraging and fun. Private sessions are available for individuals, couples and groups, in salsa, mambo, cha-cha-cha, bachata and merengue. We also coach lead and follow, timing, musicality and styling, so you feel at ease when the spotlight is on you.
Our studio has been welcoming couples of all backgrounds since 2000, and we’re proud to be a past The Knot Best of Weddings honoree. Let us help you create a dance your guests will talk about long after the last song.

ho messed up a step Mario was always neutral and kept the flow moving. I have known Mario for a few years bc I took salsa classes with him on 2 and even when my fiancé said he can only do salsa on 1 Mario quickly accommodated him. He quickly became a part of our family and one of our values guests at the wedding. I highly recommend him all couples latin or not he can do it all. Our song was not a latin song it was English and as American as can be but we cha cha ed our way through it and it was magical :)))))

He arrived several minutes early and mingled with guests. We hired him to teach a Salsa and Bachata lesson. Everyone loved the lessons. Mario was very involved with the participants and made everyone feel comfortable. He was very professional during his time with us. I would hire him in the future for any events that I may have.
