We booked Adia (electric violinist) as well for our ceremony and her performance was exquisite - she played the most romantic songs with a Bridgeton flair. Adia even learned a very specific version of Iris that I wanted played for my surprise aisle song, and her own version of it was STUNNING. Lastly, the club lighting was 10/10! Overall, would recommend booking with The DJ Firm for your wedding music if you can!

We didn't tell anyone ahead of time and had DG Sax play for about an hour with the DJ and it was perfect! He is so talented and all our guests were like "there's a saxophone here..did you know he was coming? He's so good!" It was a really fun surprise for everyone. Not only did he go out of his way to take a typical party into one of the most epic ones I have been a part of - he had a few suggestions to timeline that worked beautifully AND he even surprised our couple by coming to the after-party and playing a set!!!! The entire process was flawless—from speaking with Ruben about what we could expect and our options, to getting to know Eric (Jem), and setting up our final details with Sarah—it couldn’t have gone better. We went back and forth on getting a live band or a DJ and when I tell you we are SOOOOO happy we went with DJ Zel…. Woooo chilleee. Our dance floor was absolutely packed all night from the first to final song. The only con was I, the bride, was unable to get a single photo without the stank face because the music was that good. Uplighting was beautiful, the dj set up was so nice, and the glam booth was amazing. Watch me get married again just to hire them.

We had Patrick alternate between guitar and saxophone and it set such a relaxing mood for our outdoor wedding at The Honeycomb. He is an extraordinarily talented musician. He even learned a new song just for us. Between Patrick and the audio tech, we didn't have to worry about anything during our ceremony. DJ Sye Young had the dance floor packed the entire night. I don't know how to describe it, but he is absolutely different from your standard wedding DJ. He has an innate ability to inject life into the party. He involves the crowd, he plays hit after hit after hit, he jumps between genres, and he never stays on one song for too long. He has his finger on the pulse of the crowd all night. On a personal level, Sye is the ultimate hype man and will make you feel like the coolest person in the world at your wedding. He's someone you just want to be around because you know he's got your back and that's going to make you feel completely comfortable. He even showed up to our ceremony at The Honeycomb to see how we were doing before he set up for the reception at Galleria Marchetti (which is several miles away from The Honeycomb). Looking back, we think he was the most important vendor that we booked for our wedding. The DJ Firm is worth every penny. People will talk about your wedding every time they see you if you book The DJ Firm. Do everything you can to make sure they're behind the booth at your wedding. You will not regret it.

But at the end of the wedding both my parents and guests could not stop raving about how fantastic the music was! Our dance floor was full the entire night right up until the last song. DJ Daily did a great job taking our song requests and adding to them to keep the party going, mixing both Polish music and American. As someone who is very detail oriented, DJ Firm was one of the best vendor decisions I could have made. You can book with them with full confidence, I would 100% work and recommend them again and again.

Only thing I kind of wish would be to maybe put a portable speaker at a different location so the rest of the cocktail could have heard. I know the Venue was spread out with an outdoor terrace ballroom and foyer. The music was not really heard in the ballroom and nothing outside. We enjoyed the music as we took the time to dance and watch as he played. Top talent!

Third, their interactive website is something I’ve never seen even after dating a wedding DJ for 3 years and meeting loads of DJs from an array of companies. When you book they create an private account which allows you to input every song attached to a specific part of the wedding (processional, first dance, etc), every song you absolutely want played, and importantly, every song you don’t want played (if your husband’s ex was named Caroline, you put Sweet Caroline in that category and don’t look back!) Other companies cost the same if not more for their services, but the DJ Firm is beyond worth it. Food, alcohol, and music are the three most important aspects of throwing an unforgettable wedding because that’s what your guests will remember, and the DJ Firm will get it right for you, no doubt.
