We flagged some songs we liked, but they know how to seriously work a crowd and GET THE PEOPLE GOIN. We were lucky enough to catch him a few times bouncing around Chas before our wedding. We even practiced our first dance song with him at a Mexican restaurant in front of Taco Tuesday haha! mely responsive, usually emailing me back within a few hours. He had us fill out a very thorough questionnaire and gave us their song list of >900 songs to go through. We chose our favorites and sent him back a list of "loves" and "likes", and he took care of the rest. We had an acoustic guitar duo for our ceremony, and the entire band played for our cocktail hour and reception. Travis emceed the reception for us and did a fantastic job. He also learned our first dance song for us, and he even agreed to have the band learn another song that was not on their list for the reception - both sounded amazing!! Almost every single one of our guests came up to us at the wedding to tell us how incredible the band was and how amazing they sounded! The band read the crowd perfectly and even with our very small wedding of 58 guests, the dance floor was full the entire night, and it was by far the most fun my family has ever had together! They even got all of our guests singing along with multiple songs, and it felt like we were at a concert, not a typical wedding. There are a lot of bands to choose from for weddings in Charleston, and the research process can be overwhelming, but trust me when I say that TAB will help to ensure your wedding is one of the BEST and most FUN days of your entire life, and that choosing them will be one of the easiest decisions you can make for your wedding day!

d. In fact, we confirmed their availability the moment we chose our venue to make sure that they would be our band. They are absolutely AMAZING and are so talented. Aside from their incredible music, what set them apart from so many vendors, was their willingness to work with us and adapt. 48 hours before our wedding was due to happen, a hurricane changed path and was due to hit the day of our wedding. We had to last minute scramble to re-schedule the date to 24 hours earlier. Not only did Travis and his band do everything in their power to accommodate this last minute change, but they came out despite multiple hurricane warnings and put on the best show i've ever seen. We were blown away (almost literally!) by them and we cannot thank them enough.

id a few months of research, spoke with many different bands, and watched a ton of YouTube videos! When I saw a video of Travis and his band playing “Piano Man” with the entire party singing along, I knew we had to talk to him. We called up Travis and instantly knew he and his band were the ones. He was so friendly, thoughtful, reassuring, and experienced - we knew he could control a room and keep the party going. He had a lot of package options, and we chose to add a horns section and female vocalist. He sent over a great song list that we reviewed for “must plays, okay to play, and don’t play” - we had a fun time listening through that list while sipping some wine over the months leading up to the wedding! Travis was flexible and responsive with all of our requests and planning. He was a delight to work with, and we have only good things to say about working with him leading up to the day! The day came, and our guests and we were blown away by the band's performance! From the acoustic ceremony (my bride walked down the aisle to a tear jerking cover of “Wild Horses”) and cocktail hour to the jamming reception, they sounded terrific. The dance floor was full of guests of all ages as Travis and his band kept playing hits that everyone loved. We got our chance to sing along to “Piano Man” (it was amazing, and the whole reception sang along), and the energy was so high that our friends lifted us onto their shoulders as the band masterfully played “Don’t Stop Believin’”! Lastly, we had a choreographed first dance to a song that means a lot to our family and us - Travis and his band covered it so well that we didn’t miss a beat from the studio version, and I’m happy to say that the band will forever be an essential part of that special moment! Travis surpassed all expectations from the initial conversation to the day of - flawless - execution. Our guests raved about the band, and we even had some guests book him for their upcoming wedding! We wanted our reception to be a memorable party for everyone, and the Travis Allison Band made that happen!
