Whaleback was the perfect venue for our wedding day. Everything from the beautiful property, decorated barn, and wonderful owners make this spot a wonderful place for your special day. Amy and her family were amazing - easy to communicate with throughout our planning process, and welcoming and helpful when it came to set up and take down. Being able to try their delicious wine when you come for a visit or during the set up is an added treat! i would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to get married in the beautiful green hills of Vermont. We held our ceremony outside in front of the vineyards and it was picture perfect!

The Whaleback Vineyard was the perfect location for our wedding! The owners were incredibly supportive and accommodating from the very beginning! The barn overlooks the beautiful grapevines with a backdrop of green mountains and Lake Saint Catherine. The barn was beautifully lit and incredibly spacious to exceed every expectation! 10/10 would recommend!

Whaleback Vineyard is a family owned and operated vineyard and winery located on a picturesque farm in southern Vermont. Our historic remodeled barn sets the perfect backdrop for a rustic Vermont wedding. The barn overlooks our scenic vineyard set against the beautiful Green Mountains and Lake St. Catherine. Amenities include full bathrooms, a bridal changing room, two accessible lofts, a separate banquet-style food service room, and electrical access throughout. Have your ceremony inside the rustic barn or outside overlooking the vineyard. We also offer wine packages for your reception. Enjoy the flexibility and small-town charm of our venue to make your special day unique! Owners Amy and Dennis will help you create cherished wedding memories that will last a lifetime!

We got married at Whaleback in Mid-October last year, and Amy and Dennis helped make it spectacular. We had plenty of time for setup and takedown, and they were a joy to work with ...
(especially all the times leading up to the wedding when we took family to visit). The barn and field were superb for an indoor/outdoor wedding and reception, and Amy and Dennis even helped work with a local furniture rental to set up the barn with a space heater. The space was perfect for our group (young and old), music, and dancing, and we would do it all over again!

My husband and I got married here in August of 2019. We selected Whaleback Vineyard as both our ceremony and reception area for a variety of reasons including its historical charm...
, beautiful grounds and friendly proprietors. Our ceremony was outside with the vines and mountains as our backdrop. The barn itself had many amenities that made it the perfect reception area. The two bathrooms were spacious, the extra dressing room was a nice addition, the end room was perfect for housing the buffet and bar, the smaller loft was the perfect spot for the DJ and the larger loft housed 4 additional reception tables. We had 120 guests and there was plenty of room for dancing, socializing, and eating. When the sun went down in the evening, the lights that wrap all of the rafters were truly magical. Our photographer utilized the vineyard well, capturing the vines, mountains, as well as the interior and exterior of the barn . I highly recommend Whaleback Vineyard as a wedding venue. We wouldn't have changed a thing about our day!

the barn and had a smooth scene change to transform it into a reception area. The acoustics were great and the barn provided the perfect rustic ambiance. My daughter had her ceremony on the grounds and her reception within. The vines provided a wonderful backdrop and the mountains were really beautiful in the photos. The lights on the rafters in the barn are truly spectacular at night and provide a warm and romantic setting. I would recommend this venue to anybody looking for a beautiful Vermont wedding facilitated by wonderful people.

r own but the beautiful lights strung throughout the barn are already up so it gives it a romantic touch effortlessly! I highly recommend whaleback vineyard, it was the perfect place for our wedding! I wouldn’t have changed one thing!!

ly beautiful. Inside the barn they already have some decor. You can get married inside the barn or outside. I was lucky enough to get married outside in front of the lovely barn. We didn’t have one thing we would have changed about our wedding. There is a changing room inside the barn, which came in handy after hours of dancing in my dress- I had to change i was dancing my butt off on the dance floor. A women’s and men’s bathroom inside the barn which is so convenient for your guests. There is a perfect room for your food so it’s not taking up space for your guests. I recommend going through the wineyard if you’re going to have alcohol. They can get kegs and other things (it will save you lots of money). They also have some delicious wine! You’ll have to try their honey wine!
