DJ Bruce was awesome!! We were kind of picky about all of the different music we wanted to play and he absolutely made it happen! 10/10 recommend!!

Bruce completely exceeded our expectations! We have a very wide taste in music and when we first talked to Bruce we wanted to ensure he was willing to accommodate a seemingly random playlist. He was more than up for the challenge—he mixed music together all night long. We were also thrilled to hear that he recognized our first dance song. He had people up and dancing during dinner and he kept the floor full to the end of the night. He even agreed to stay for an extra hour because our friends and family enjoyed the music so much. In the days following, our music loving family and friends have sung his praises. Even my 83 year old grandmother said that she didn’t recognize most of the music but still found it to be enjoyable! Highly recommend Bruce, don’t hesitate to book him!

Bruce was absolutely incredible!! My husband and I were so shocked as he completely exceeded our expectations. He was so friendly and it is evident that he loves what he does. Our wedding was a blast thanks to Bruce!! He took any and all song requests and got everybody out on the floor dancing. My friends and guests commented on how awesome he was, we are so pleased with his work and will recommend him to anybody!! Definitely go for Bruce if you are looking for a fun, friendly, and professional DJ. You won't be disappointed!

DJ Bruce brought the party to our wedding!!! He took the time to listen to our music preferences and I can honestly say I was so happy with every single song he played - the energy was amazing all night. We were married on May 29, 2022 at a beach house in Corolla. DJ Bruce was incredible to work with from start to finish! We felt really confident about everything even before the wedding day due to his professionalism, organization, flexibility and follow through. He was absolutely amazing and made our wedding day very special, from the wedding ceremony on the beach to the reception around the pool. The microphones and lights were a very nice touch. All of our guests loved the music and had a great time, hardly ever leaving the dance floor. His song selection was perfect, and tailored exactly to us and our crew. We actually extended his time another hour because we couldn’t get our family and friends off the dance floor. We received many compliments from everyone about how amazing the playlist was. We would highly recommend DJ Bruce

Bruce was the BEST DJ we could have ever hoped for! He was very professional and did a great job at reading the energy in the room to keep the dancefloor going. Our guests were packed onto the dancefloor from 6:30pm all the way up until the venue kicked us out at 10pm. He provides an excellent questionnaire that helps you plan all the big songs. For the reception itself we just gave Bruce what genres we listen to and he worked his magic!

We LOVED DJ Bruce! He was incredibly patient with our many requests and executed the music SO well - everyone had a blast! It was important to us to have a lot of our own touches music-wise and he was happy to oblige - then he handled the dance party which from what I remember was fun! Highly recommend!!

We found DJ Bruce on The Knot while searching for wedding DJs for our 2021 Outer Banks wedding. From the very beginning DJ Bruce was very professional and responded to all of our communications in a timely manner. Bruce made everything from the contract, to submission of payments, to selection of our music a very seamless process. We submitted our music selection about a month prior to the wedding. From our selections, DJ Bruce was able to understand the musical vibe we were going for and he was on point all night! We received many compliments from family and friends about how amazing the playlist was which was no surprise as the dance floor was crowded all night! Two friends told us they made a decision to leave the dance floor to go to the bar whenever a "boring" song came on that they didn't want to dance to... song after song was a hit and they had to force themselves off of the dance floor for a refreshment! Being that this was a destination wedding for us, we unfortunately didn’t get a chance to meet DJ Bruce in person until a few minutes before he introduced us at the reception, but he could not have been kinder. The ceremony music also went off without a hitch and contributed to there not being a dry eye on the beach! Overall, there is not one bad thing we could say about Bruce as a DJ or human being. He played a tremendous role in making our wedding day truly unforgettable and we would highly recommend him to anyone looking to get married in The Outer Banks.

I wish we could have DJ Bruce at every single event, no matter the occasion - his knowledge, expertise, kindness, attention to detail, communication, and humor all made him fabulous to work with and truly helped make our wedding as wonderful as it was! We are still getting compliments from our family and friends about what a great job he did during both the ceremony and reception. He kept the ceremony music flowing effortlessly for the guests while they awaited us walking down the aisle, then transitioned to keeping the party rockin' all night long during the cocktail hour and reception. I don't think there was ever a moment where someone wasn't on the dance floor! His wireless services were a must-have for us since our ceremony was up on the beach, and the sound through both the speakers and mic were so clear, even with the windy weather. He was so accommodating to our music choices that we wanted played and was the perfect announcer for our wedding party introductions. It was the best day of my life and we all had an absolute blast - thank you Bruce for being a part of our big day and making it so special!!!

DJ Bruce was absolutely incredible! He was the DJ for my son's wedding on Roanoake Island a couple of weeks ago. EVERYBODY was on the dance floor, dancing and singing, from the time we arrived until the time we left. The music selection and sound was fantastic! Cannot say enough great things about him. Also, his wife (unknowingly) did my hair that day! Shout out also to Sierra & Jessica at the Salty Hair Salon!

DJ Bruce was incredible! Communication was great throughout the entire process. Bruce was super flexible in rescheduling our May wedding due to COVID and we are so grateful for that. He was able to find the exact versions of the songs I wanted during the ceremony and the music sounded beautiful and exactly how I had chosen it to be. The wedding party introductions went great after Bruce took the time to learn the pronunciations of everyone in the bridal party. DJ Bruce played each song that I had requested, and all of the guests had a blast. The music throughout the whole evening was exactly what we wanted, and everyone was up dancing all night. Definitely recommend!

DJ Bruce was an absolutely perfect DJ for our wedding day! He was professional, accessible during the planning process, and so nice! He took the time to learn the pronunciations of our family/bridal party names so introductions went smoothly, he had no trouble finding the song we wanted for our first dance, he played EXACTLY the music we wanted during dinner, and he TRULY got the party going with his reception music! Bruce is amazing! Wonderful DJ to work with, he timed the songs perfectly for our first dance and for everyone to walking down the aisle, high quality equipment & sound. He is such a sweetheart & played wonderful music the whole night, such a great DJ!

DJ Bruce was simply the best! He worked with us to find the best package to fit our budget. He helped us figure out the best way to do our ceremony as we wanted to read vows aloud without having to scream over the waves in the background. He gave us an amazing questionnaire that helped us plan a song for every little detail so that the whole day was exactly how we'd like it. We asked for a 90's dance party to make sure our friends stayed on the dance floor all night and oh.my.gosh. did he give us the greatest 90's dance party ever! We all had SO much fun! When the night accidentally ended early due to an impromptu in-your-wedding-dress pool party and the music couldn't be heard outside, Bruce offered us our money back for the last hour we missed while outside. Talk about service! We love DJ Bruce and can't wait to get back to the Outer Banks to find where he's playing and party again!

This guy brings the party! Everything about working with DJ Bruce was fantastic! He answered our multiple emails and numerous questions in a timely manner and graciously provided the music for both our ceremony and reception on August 5th. He helped my father and I piece together an exciting dance routine that brought down the house! And he kept the guests up and dancing on the dance floor all night long. Even my 87 year old grandma got up on her feet to join the excitement! It's been 11 days since our wedding and we still get comments from our family and friends about how it was the most fun they've ever had at a wedding. And it's all thanks to you, DJ Bruce! What can we say that hasn't already been said. Easy going, friendly, professional, and most important, fantastic music selection. Played everything we wanted, nothing we didn't, and kept people on the dance floor the entire evening. Also helped us out with timing, pace of our reception. Just a first class DJ and a very nice guy as well. Money well spent!!

DJ Bruce was a stellar person to work with. We had a very specific song request list and he met all of our needs, including playing our college's alma mater after the cake cutting. He made great suggestions and took requests night of. We got married during Hurricane Matthew and we never heard any doubts from him that he would be there. I think he even got stranded at our venue the night of the storm. He was amazing, and we're grateful for people like him who made our wedding possible.

DJ Bruce came extremely highly recommended by just about everyone we talked to on the OBX- and he STILL exceeded our expectations. Bruce was a lifesaver two days before the wedding when we realized our sound system set up needed to be adjusted for the ceremony- between him and Taylor, our wedding planner, the matter was handled and made for a fantastic ceremony. He also easily found some of our more Indie genre music selections and indulged the groom with his favorite NFL team chant. Bruce also came up with an impeccable song choice on the fly at the end of the reception when the crowd requested another song to continue their glowstick dance party. The dance floor was literally packed all night from the very first song after dinner until guests had to literally be kicked off the floor at the end of the night- I think that speaks volumes. Aside from a few specific requests, we really left the music up to Bruce (after all, he is the professional) and he totally rocked it. He had a great variety with classics like Frank Sinatra, to big crowd pleasers like "Shout", 80s, 90s, etc and even some Indie hits thrown in for the bride and groom- basically something for everyone. He knows how to read the crowd, pay attention to whats going on, and definitely work on the fly when needed. What else could you want from a DJ? Although, DJ for lack of a better term because clearly Bruce goes beyond the typical DJ duties and really was the anchor that kept the whole night going. Thanks you SO much for such a fun night that flowed so seamlessly! Would absolutely recommend Bruce to DJ a wedding or other special event!

Bruce is fantastic! He has a great set up so he's flexible to move about the reception is necessary and has just about every song out there. He was a breeze to work with and is fantastic with the details. He seems laid back and a go with the flow kinda guy but he is all about making your day special and all that you want it to be. You can't go wrong with Bruce! Communication was great, cost efficient and he nailed our style down to a T. Couldn't have asked for anything better!

Bruce did a phenomenal job DJing our wedding reception. I think every bride is terrified of the cheesy announcer type DJ's and Bruce is definitely not one of those. He did such a wonderful job with bridal party introductions, announcing the dances, and announcing the speeches and made sure everything went just how we wanted. He played all of the songs that my groom and I requested and did a wonderful job of keeping the dance floor filled late into the night!

DJ Bruce was fantastic. Planning an Outer Banks wedding from out of state required some extra planning, and DJ Bruce was professional, prompt, laid back, and amazingly easy to work with. He is clearly great at what he does- because of his professionalism, we felt at ease leaving many of the decisions for music up to him. He did not disappoint whatsoever. He executed our parents/bridal party/bride & groom introductions flawlessly! His song selections for the entire night couldn't have been more perfect! When we started looking around for music for our wedding, we asked some of the vendors we had already booked and every single vendor said DJ Bruce was the best. We are so happy we booked him, and I couldn't agree more that he was the absolute best. From our first meeting, we discussed the music we were looking for, and the fact we wanted to avoid all cheesiness, as in no line dances, no cheesy introductions, just good quality music with a mix of oldies and new stuff, to get the dance floor going. He definitely delivered. He is young, knows his music, and very talented. The dance floor was packed, and honestly I don't think I stopped dancing for the last three hours, because every time I wanted to take a break, a song would come on that I would have to dance to, and well I was a sweaty mess at the end, but so happy! Everything flowed seamlessly, and he did an awesome job of announcing everyone and playing the role of master of ceremonies. All in all a fantastic party, thanks to BRUCE!

Most of the DJ’s I found were all priced right around the same so I based my decision off of reviews I read and DJ Bruce had great reviews. We weren’t much of party crowd but he did a great job announcing and playing great music that got a few of us dancing! Also, for a small fee he played our ceremony music which was another reason why I chose him. Would definitely recommend very easy to work with and quick to respond back to emails!

DJ Bruce knows how to throw a seriously good party that reflects the personality of the bride and groom. My husband and I are from Brooklyn and have little tolerance for cheesiness or bad music. Bruce completely delivered ... he is young, fun, and laid back. He didn't blink when the crowd asked for one last song at the end of the night, and then played something we hadn't even thought to request but is now my husband and my's special song. We were so thrilled with Bruce. He really made our wedding into the best party I have ever been to. Could not recommend enough!

Bruce was as great as all the reviews had said. He did a great job of MCing throughout the night in a low-key way. He did a good job of playing the stuff we wanted to hear, taking requests on the spot, and working with the vibe of the room.
