Michael did a phenomenal job at our Halloween wedding! My husband and I couldn't have been more thrilled with the evening. He had the kids on the dance floor the entire night and exhausted the next day!! Michael was already familiar with the venue and was able to offer incredibly helpful advice when planning. His professionalism and years of experience will quickly become apparent. We used his photobooth that evening and received copies the next day! The guests had so much fun with it and it's making a hilarious guestbook! Highly recommend! Couldn't have asked for a better experience from start to finish.

Michael was very friendly and personable right off the bat when we first spoke. In the course of wedding planning, we had about 4 phone call meetings and Michael listened to what we wanted and helped advise on a couple of things to make our reception run smoothly. The guests had a great time and he did a fabulous job managing the crowd and music to make sure people had fun.

I can’t say enough about Michael! He was so amazing and thoughtful throughout the entire process. We moved to several different spaces throughout the wedding night and he went above and beyond to ensure the transitions were seamless. My guest were raving about his ability to get everyone singing during dinner and dancing at the reception. If you want a DJ that will keep your guest entertained the entire evening and can read a room better than any DJ I’ve ever seen… you have to hire him!

This DJ is incredible and truly has talent, saved my wedding from multiple troubles throughout the night. Long story short, several instances of incompetency from venue staff was jeopardizing things like a really heartfelt video we had prepared, due to them not being able to figure out their own projector systems. The DJ was able to get the issue resolved best he could and while the venue staff just were wanting us to drop the video even though it took months of effort, he was able to get it rolling and playing the heartfelt moments. Truly a stand up guy. Any communication with him was understood clearly and he was able to listen and adapt to any requests or changes. Helped me practice my special coordinated dance even though that was never in the plan to begin with, I just needed more time to practice and practice with the actual floor and sound equipment. Top notch at reading the room and taking requests. Knows when to drive the crowd and build hype and when to settle people down for tender or more quiet moments. Punctual and a tremendous help to keeping the timing of things. Never had any technological issues, if any did happen I was surely not in the know and it never became a noticeable problem. Super helpful throughout the planning process and super understanding of specific requests and needs that you may need from a DJ. His assistant was also a top notch act and tremendous to getting things done right. Mics were great during vows and speeches. I had an impromptu speech last minute relevant to making sure guests got their gifts, DJ was in the process of breaking down the equipment but was able to get the equipment up and running in 30 seconds. All around an upstanding guy. Can't recommend this guy enough!

We have 0 regrets using this DJ. He was absolutely wonderful and really kept the party going! The extra lighting and photo booth were a nice plus as well. He really took our music taste and song choices into account! He was very lively and the music library had SO many choices.

(2/2) Set up before the wedding- he took me seriously as a bride continuing to ask every detail I could ever want to contribute or answer to before the wedding to make sure it was exactly what I wanted. That level of care is rare these days but he truly does care about your wedding day. Ceremony- we had ZERO microphone problems. He ran sound checks ahead of time. Everyone could hear our vows. And he played every song we wanted right on que. I have attended serveral weddings, but truly only a professional can do these things right. Bottom line-if you want to have a blast of a wedding, Book him. Just email him, set up a meeting, and he will tell you what he has to offer. Book the best package. Move the money around to make it happen. You may think you don't need to book the best package but you will not regret doing so. My husband and I knew we had two very large families where most of them did not know each other coming together on one day just for us, so in order to save the awkwardness, we made sure our entertainment was perfect. Us booking who we booked and what we booked was the reason our wedding was so much fun and unforgettable. Thank you again Michael Blake

(1/2)There's two things you never skimp on when it comes to weddings: An open bar and an amazing DJ. Michael Blake brought exactly that, an amazing DJ experience. He has several packages to chose from, but if you go all out and do the best package he has, you get a very big bang for your buck. Our guests are still talking about the LED dance floor he brought in and set up. The kids loved it, and it can fit any venue. My husband and I were married at the Hillside Estate in Cross Roads, TX, and it's a very elegant French modern venue. The set up brought in matched perfectly. Michael Blake brought in elegant white drapes for the flat screen t.v. that raises up above the head table. The edges for the dance floor were black and curved so you wouldn't trip on them. You can dance all night long with a drink in your hand. The dance floor itself is just the perfect size (20x20) and the best accessory you can do are those foam glow sticks to really light the night up. Back screen behind the head table: This held several purposes, one of which played a slide show my husband and I created. Michael Blake worked with us to specialize a slide show of our baby pictures growing up that played in the background of the father daughter and mother son dance. It had our guests in tears being the most thoughtful touch to our dances, and we are so thankful Michael was able to help us out. During the dancing for everyone, our dance floor was filled the whole night, to the point our cordinators were struggling to find a time where we could get in a bouquet and garter toss. We had to delay it because everyone was having so much fun on the LED color changing dance floor. There were music videos playing to whatever song was playing on the flat screen. I gave a Spotify list to Michael and he worked his magic. The flat screen also had a number our guests got to text in photos to, that would pop up on our flat screen. After the wedding we downloaded nearly a 100 photos our guests took. This gave my husband and I more pictures past just the professional ones. I wish I could say I was diligent and held several meetings together before the wedding, but Michael truly is just a professional that knows what he is doing and he will run your wedding more smoothly than you could plan. As a bride, having one less thing to worry about is a relief, and Michael truly took the lead for me on the fun aspect of our wedding. Photo booth: Let's face it, they can get to be pricey no matter how much DIY you put into it. The best package deal we did included the coolest photo booth that was modern, easy to work, and our guests could input their phone number and send the messages to themselves. This was the second form of pictures we could get from our guests and really gave us a look into how much fun the guests were having. Other details not mentioned; Uplighting- Can pick any color you want. The lights we used we wireless. So you or guest didn't trip over any wires. Speakers-Also wireless. All his equipment seemed to be the most modern type out there which was peace of mind that no guest would get injured tripping over a cord. On the photo booth, you can input a picture on each photo of you and your husband with your name and wedding date. It's just yet another personal touch Michael brings to the table. There were so many details he made happen and wad completely capable of doing so AND following through.

Michael was incredible. Did a great job following up with us frequently from the time of booking until the wedding. Used a great system to allow us to create all of our songs and leave notes for when to play them. We would highly recommend him!

Loren was amazing. On day one he helped me with a timeline and talked me through the process. He was punctual, professional and responsive. He was a great DJ that kept the party going and brought the group together. I 100% believe it would not have been the same with a different DJ.

Michael threw the greatest Monday-night dance party (in my mind) for our weekday wedding this March :) He definitely knows his audience-- our older guests loved his choice in songs earlier in the day and our younger guests had the time of their lives during our dance party later in the evening. We had a few hiccups during the day timeline-wise but Michael was super responsive nonetheless. We also really appreciate him working with us financially-- we had a very strict budget and Michael definitely met us halfway and the perks he included were great (the photo booth in particular was a HUGE hit).

Every conversation was easy and quick! He answered all our questions immediately and made the whole experience less stressful than I anticipated. We picked songs in the portal and every song we wanted was played and he matched our vibe to a T. He worked with us before the wedding and guided us in making some decisions that, through his experience would keep our crowd up and on the dance floor. Our picked songs for the ceremony (down the aisle, procession) were executed flawlessly, and he understood the ~vibe~ we were looking for for the early reception and into the later open dancing. He did a great jobs of keeping everyone engaged. I even saw our grandmothers get up and dance - which for us was quite a shock. We had a great wedding and reception, and he was a big part of it!

A DJ will make or break your party. Hire these guys. A few things that I cared about: 1) They bring their own sound set up and mic, which they also gave our officiant a mic as well. So many things I didn't have to coordinate (since I was planning my own wedding). Totally worth it. 2) Their Photo Booth, which is included, is THE BOMB! I got so many compliments from guests about how much fun the photo booth was. I can't wait to see all the pictures!! 3) True Professionals. I did not want drunken guests asking for the mic to make rambling speeches. I did not want weird random explicit songs requested by guests to be played. Give them directions, and they have a polite, professional game plan. Very satisfied. 4) Music and Keeping the Party Going. We all think our music taste is the bomb, but there is real skill in reading the room and keeping the part going. I told DJ Blake that I just cared about people having a good time and my husband and I have no idea how to truly DJ. DJ Blake told us to pick the music we liked and then, staying within the please-no-explicit-music-parameter he would use our taste as a guide and read the room from there. He did an amazing job. We ended up jumping up and down to music that we hadn't even put on the list with everyone on the dance floor! It was an AMAZING party! HIGHLY recommend DJ Blake!!! If you hire a professional DJ- listen to them. You are paying them for a reason.

Super professional, our original DJ was unable to make it but communicated that very early on, and smoothly transitioned to Loren, another Dj on Michaels team. Loren was GREAT, super funny, laid back, and made me feel very comfortable. Loren did a great job at our wedding.

We requested to edit few songs for dancing and he was so generous and professional about it, and the song edit was just perfect as I wanted it to be. We thought we were splurging on the DJ cost to our budget but honestly now that we have had the best, we wouldn't have done it any differently. Most DJ companies we had checked out before would assign a DJ to our event that we had never even spoken with. Michael was amazing at our wedding. Everything from our ceremony to our last dance! The amount of compliments I got from guests about our DJ was insane. He delivered everything and then some. What I mean by that is while he is doing his thing making sure the music and announcements are perfect, his team is following us around making sure that we are staying on schedule and that Michael is updated on any changes to our timeline. I was provided water during our photos after the ceremony by his team that was with us which I thought was so sweet and much appreciated especially since he didn't have to be there or do that for us. He stayed in communication with our vendors through out which was such a relief that I didn't even know I needed. Not only was the service unparalleled but the things he provides is unbeatable. We had the dance floor from the movie Saturday Night Fever which was such a hit!!! It also made our first dance even that much more amazing. There was also the jumbo screen that was put up for pictures that were taken during the wedding and through out the event by guests showing in live time. When it wasn't showing pictures it was playing music videos which made the dancing portion even better and alive. I loved every bit of what was provided. He gave us an experience not just some music played on a playlist. Beyond what was expected or imagined. I would recommend him to anyone and everyone! 10/10!!!

I don't have enough positive words to say about Michael's execution for our wedding. He was smooth, funny, and knew how to drive the crowd to the dance floor for a killer party. His announcements and timing was spot on and nothing was missed during our wedding. He made it so easy with his package to consolidate vendors which was a huge bonus for me. He is a top notch DJ and MC and I would recommend him to any bride or for any event.

DJ Michael Blake was hands down the best vendor we chose for our wedding. We planned a wedding in 2.5 months and he simply blew our mind with the level of detail he provided. Michael has the most incredible set up, including a screen that plays music videos in the background during the reception. In addition he was able to play part of our wedding that he had recorded on this same screen during our reception!!! The turn around time was incredible and it felt partly like we had a DJ and photographer in one. Michael ALSO has the coolest photo booth that he brings and the price for everything felt too good to be true, but it wasn’t! The thing that stuck out in my mind the most, however, was his assistant who walked up to my husband and I while we were cutting the cake. For whatever reason our coordinator kind of disappeared and Michael’s assistant coached us on how to cut the cake while everyone was staring at us to do something haha. It was just so kind. My husband and I have talked for days now about how our wedding would have not been the same without this crew! Do not hesitate to book them!!! You will be so happy you did. I hired Michael Blake the week of my wedding after realizing putting together a music list is much more difficult than I had thought. Michael quickly called me discussed price, a little history about us as a couple and what vibe we wanted at the wedding. No one would have guessed how last minute everything came together. My husband and I had multiple compliments on the DJ. We also found ourselves saying that “he completely saved her butts!” the day after the wedding. The day of the wedding he showed up promptly and immediately started playing music which was playing through out the entire venue due to the Soundsystem at my venue. It was a nice surprise to be in the bridal suite when music came on overheard. The song selection totally set the mood for the ceremony to come. Michael also did a wonderful job announcing and was personable and subtly funny. Looking back I can tell that he read the room well and played slow songs when the dance floor needed to catch their breath. The photo booth was a HUGE hit at my wedding! The pictures you just weren’t quite ready for made for a good laugh. My guests currently have multiple photo booth picture slips on their refrigerators. I wish I had spent more time at the photo booth with guests. I seriously would not have change a thing! We are so thankful we got lucky and ended up with this DJ!

We had so much fun on our wedding day and DJ Michael Blake and the team played a huge role in that! It was easy to stay in touch throughout the planning process. We had meetings to go over our timeline and he showed his extensive experience by helping us with the nitty gritty details of the reception. We had a lot to get through (dances, speeches, cake cutting, etc.) before our photographer left and the team made sure we stayed on track. This ensured that we got photos of all of the special moments. Michael provided advice that helped make the day go smoothly and we are very appreciative of his knowledge and expertise! The team created and curated the atmosphere that we really wanted. It was very important to us that our guests have fun and everyone had a blast!!

We hired 106.1 Pro DJ Michael Blake for my daughters wedding, and I knew Michael was going to be Amazing because of his experience on the radio. Everything we discussed was exactly what we were looking for. Michael is so personable and he loves what he does! and he does it all! The music is like you’re at a concert with a movie size screen showing the artists performing! The interaction with the bride and groom is Amazing , the interaction with the guests is Amazing ! The photo booth was a hit! The time and effort that he put into the slideshow of my daughter growing up and her pictures of her new husband growing up and then pictures of them together was a tear jerker!
