As ours was a destination wedding, she accommodated our wanting to see 108 on our trips down to OBX. If you are looking for a unique and beautiful venue, 108 Budleigh is a terrific choice.

the place. It has a cute patio with lights as well. Loved that Budleigh is two stories, so we were able to use the 2nd bar upstairs and there was plenty of space for a photo-booth. Leading up to the wedding, the owners were flexible and were available when I had any questions. It does not take a lot to decorate Budleigh, as the staircase and the tall ceilings create a great atmosphere on its own. There was recently a parking lot built right down the street so that made it easy for guests to park! Would recommend this venue!

disappointed in the least! Beautiful and intimate. Barely needs decorations. Everything you need is provided and you can bring outside alcohol!! (A big money saver.) I got to visit the venue multiple times during the month leading up to the wedding to finalize the floor plan and seating chart. Highly reccomend for small and mid size weddings.

got to make my wedding my own and it was absolutely gorgeous. Bonnie is amazing to work with and she's such a sweetheart! Plus they have so many other vendors that are willing to help with decorating to truly make it about the newlyweds.

ways responded quickly. As for the venue itself: I was THRILLED. This was a destination wedding for us so I could only bring what would fit in our SUV which cut down on how much we could decorate, but you literally don't need much for it to look great. The veranda is incredible...We rented a couple of high top tables and it looked perfect. Inside, we used a lot of candles which complimented the vintage look and made it feel very romantic. Random things: The fridge is huge so you can fit all your alcohol and mixers and the bathrooms are really nice. Our guests raved about how unique and beautiful Budleigh was, there was a lot of jealousy from my already married friends! Luckily, the weather worked out for us and we could have the ceremony outside but it was a relief knowing Budleigh was a beautiful backup. I was 100% happy with 108 Budleigh and can't think of one negative thing to say!

The amenities were perfect and Bonnie was so helpful and knowledgeable, answer any and all wedding-related questions I had, many of which extended far beyond her scope as the coordinator for the reception location. The antique features in the space made it unique and personalized as well. Such a great venue and a wonderful group to work with!

did! It is such a beautiful and romantic venue. All of our guests told us how much they loved the Budleigh. We loved that we were able to chose our own vendors. It allowed us to taylor the entire evening to our own style. It did make the reception more pricy due to having to rent everything. I wouldn't have changed a thing though. The only negative was the tables. We rented tables, because the tables they own are like picnic style tables. They seat 6 but really only 4 comfortably. The chairs on the other hand are beautiful. They are gold and very much match the look of the budleigh. Bonnie was wonderful through the entire year and a half. She would respond to my emails within hours of sending and was very much on top of any questions I had.

he event space for the entire day we were able to relocate the wedding to indoors and it was still beautiful. My husband and I were married on their beautiful staircase. We had cocktail hour upstairs utilizing the bar and balcony area. Then we returned downstairs for the remainder of the reception. 108 Budleigh is a magical place that takes very little to make it look amazing. Bonnie was also easy to work with and she was very laid back! We would not have wanted to get married anywhere else!

Located on the Manteo Waterfront, it is in the perfect location. Our wedding reception decor was easy to plan as the venue allows for various colors and set-up. We loved the southern charm of this beautiful building.

Some of the perks include the flexibility of set up, freedom of vendor choice and the fact that your rental includes the whole day (i.e. we were able to get in early for photos, getting ready, etc). For an additional small fee, Bonnie allowed us to rent the venue the night prior to set up, which made the actual wedding day much more stress free! I would definitely recommend this venue to anyone interested in having a wedding on the Outer Banks!

ooked at the website, emailed a few questions to Bonnie (who is amazing to work with) and we booked it, without even seeing it first in person. We later drove to Manteo (we live in South Carolina) to finish up with all of our vendors and Bonnie was out of town. She was so kind to give us the code to view Budleigh for the first time. It was BREATHTAKING!!! We knew we had to be creative, it's a great space for just a ceremony or just a reception. But we wanted to have everything in one location. We didn't think it could work at first, but the day of the wedding everything was perfect! We had around 90 people at our ceremony and reception. The ceremony was in the same room and the reception. We ended up inviting our guests to watch us release doves by the pier to allow time to reset the room with the dinner tables/dance floor. This venue was everything we invisioned. It was big enough for everyone to dance and mingle, but still small enough to be intimate. We wanted to share our special day with close family and friends, and the upstairs area that we used for cocktail hour was plenty big enough for us to meet and greet our guests. There is even a small room with a tv and sitting area, which the men enjoyed watching the Michigan basketball game after the reception. 108 Budleigh was perfect in every way. I recommend this to any bride who wants and intimate wedding and/or reception in a beautiful historic building in a great location!

e a smaller wedding. We were a smaller wedding, and not once did we feel like we were overwhelmed with space. There is an outdoor patio and lawn area which was great for guests to move around and get some fresh air! This venue is so gorgeous that you really don't need to over decorate. The guests were completely wowed! Worth the price!!

e were in town. We rented it on a Thursday so the price was a little lower than it would be for a weekend. I would recommend 108 Budleigh to anyone considering having any event in Manteo. If we ever have to rent a place in Manteo again it will definitely be 108 Budleigh!
