We hosted the Welcome Party to our wedding weekend at 1102 EAST and are so glad that we did. The venue itself is beautiful and true to the spirit of east Austin, with art installations scattered around the property that are interesting and add to a fun ambiance. We had a lot of options in terms of arranging elements within the layout (tent, lounge area, bars, tables) to take it from minimalist to party-ready. At the time of our wedding we did have to hire a bathroom trailer as none are available to guests, but we were told that they were working on building outside restrooms for events.
