of our lives. They not only took our pictures but they helped the day run smoothly. A few days before my wedding they sent me a list of things I would need and an itinerary for the day. This was a life saver! (My wedding was the first time I was ever on time for something ;) ). They had a plan or solution for everything and anything that came up. I did not have to stress about ANYTHING I just enjoyed my day. They took the time to get to know my husband and I and truly captured our personalities. Not to mention they were so fun to hang out with I kept catching myself hanging out with them instead of my guest. They are the best you wont regret choosing them!

The most important advice we received prior to getting married was "spend the money on a photographer", you will not receive quality work for a budget photographer you've found on craigslist. 1216 is very reasonable for the amount of work they put into your day. They both arrived promptly when they were supposed to day of, had literally the entire day planned out for us (they said jump and we said how high). This alone took a ton of stress off our backs! Plus, they're very cool! They had plan A, B, and C for weather concerns, kept us in the loop, communicated frequently, and honestly we had a great time hanging out with them. They made sure that we had every shot we wanted, and added extra fun shots we didn't think of, they provided us with a schedule prior to our wedding, and really took care of our needs. They went above and beyond. Awesome people.

't even imagine them being more perfect. I get so many complements on them. Elizabeth helped me with so much leading up to the big day and was always there for me. Daryl- oh Daryl... always the one to make you laugh and help you relax a bit when you're feeling uptight. They were always on time and I just can't say anything negative at all. I would suggest them to ANYONE I ever meet and would tell you you're crazy to consider looking anywhere else.

They made us comfortable the whole time and even went a little over time just to get all the shots we wanted - SO many ideas. Aside from our planner, they will be the ones to make sure you everything on time, get things done, and that your dress, veil, tuxes, boutonnières are flawless. Beth even helped me decide on earrings to go with my wedding dress as I was getting dressed, ha! We got married on one of the busiest days in the Quarter and they still made sure everything went as planned and caught every single crazy moment!

Beth helped me out so much when we were preparing for the wedding, it was great having someone who knew so much about weddings there with me!! And Daryl saved the day when our departure rental did not show up, none of our guest even knew that anything had gone wrong!!! They are the best!!! And I can’t say enough about our wedding photos!!! They were absolutely BEAUTIFUL!!!! They look like something out of a wedding magazine!!!! They captured everything, I get to relive my wedding day every time I see them!!! I LOVE our photos!!! When our wedding day finally came in February they were amazing! Having our photos taken was a little nerve wrecking, but Beth and Daryl made it so comfortable. s, were professional, funny, caring, and really know what they are doing. We felt so comfortable with them and they made those awkward moments during photos seem like second nature. We met with them prior to our engagement photos and hit it off right away. Our engagement photos came out amazing - we used two shoot locations. On the day of the wedding, they were with us for the whole day, starting with prep and did not leave until the night was over. Cut to the photos - OMG. They are amazing! They took a couple thousand photos and every one of them is frame-worthy. They captured all of the best moments and made sure to be there throughout the whole day. Leading up to our big day, they were super responsive, worked really well with our planner, and gave us a lot of direction and advice on the setup of the day. If you are looking for a photographer who you feel comfortable with, can laugh with (and at sometimes!), and just enjoy their company while at the same time getting some unbelievably beautiful photos, look no further. Daryl and Beth are it!

with them, so I immediately put down a deposit. We had several months before the wedding, but Daryl and Elizabeth kept in contact. This prompted us to hire them for the rehearsal dinner as well. A couple of weeks prior to our wedding weekend, they eventually met my then fiancée who lived out of state. Similar to my sister, he instantly felt a connection with them and was more relaxed about the idea of having to take so many photos at our rehearsal dinner and wedding (ceremony/reception). In the weeks leading up to our wedding weekend, they worked with our "team" of vendors and venues to make sure that things would go smoothly on both days. On the day of the main event (i.e., the wedding), they spent about 12 hours with us. We were seamlessly able to take photos before the ceremony in the hotel, off site at Armstrong Park, and then more leading up to, during, and after the ceremony. Within a few weeks we received the thousands (literally) of photos that they took. Each one was truly beautiful. While it may not be important to everyone, on a personal note, I was impressed with their ability to take photos of black and brown people. As an African American, I have seen numerous photos by other photographers that make darker skin tones look "ashy." The beautiful shades of my friends' and family's skin glowed in all of the photos. In addition to our friends and family they were also able to capture many beautiful photos of the decor and other elements of our special day. We enjoyed working with Daryl and Elizabeth and appreciate how personable they were even though we were "clients." They were also very accommodating to my particular needs before, during, and after the wedding. We highly recommend them for large and smaller events, alike. Truly an awesome experience.

assure Elizabeth and Daryl are the most dedicated and loyal.....they were there for us on 10/7 while "whimpy" storm Nate scurried out of NOLA quickly; almost ALL other venues and vendors were cancelling weddings all over the city, 1216 Studio were the first to call us SAT am to assure us hurricane or not, they would be their to photograph our daughters wedding and they were...any mother or father can understand the importance of having attentive & committed vendors and especially on a day like 10/7/17 when a hurricane is threatening to destroy your child's most important day. They even offered to return at no charge on Sunday if we wanted some outdoor shots not available to us on Saturday...amazing work ethic and kindness. Because of Studio 1216 and Hotel Monteleone, who also made things happen to make our special day possible, we were the ONLY night time wedding to take place in New Orleans (no thanks to the public officials who could have lifted the pointless curfew hours earlier as the storm changed courses). Amazing photos, extremely responsive the entire year prior to the wedding each time I called or emailed; creative, always flexible; never rushed during photo sessions....anything we needed or asked for, they were willing to accommodate. I promise, this couple is a FIRST CLASS team that will not disappoint. We are eternally grateful to Daryl & Elizabeth....true professionals and friends.

Their eye(s) for detail and artistic expression are unmatched a truly comes through on every single picture. We could tell that they really understood our personalities and the theme of our wedding and the pictures are the proof. We have so many amazing pictures from our big day and are so pleased we chose 1216 studios to capture some amazing moments. Our only regret is that we didn't add-on the videography!

e were an out of town couple). As it was our first photo shoot as a couple, my husband and I were very stiff and uptight. As the session progressed and we became more relaxed and they were definitely able to capture that change. As for the wedding day, we were able to meet beforehand and go over the timeline. Wedding day coverage was fantastic! They loved that I had built in time between the ceremony and the reception to go take group photos at a local park. All throughout the main events, you couldn't even tell they were there. However, at the reception, if there was a picture you wanted, all you had to do was grab them. We haven't gotten our wedding photos yet, but after seeing our engagement photos I knew we had made the right choice for our wedding!

The wedding day would not have gone as smoothly as it did without them. Their help with the timing of the day was so much appreciated, and they were so fun to work with! One of my favorite parts of the day was walking around the French Quarter taking our bride/groom photos with them. It was just us and the 1216 team and it was just like they were old friends of ours! I could not be happier that we had them as our photographers and would recommend them to anyone I know who is getting married in the New Orleans area!

better. As we were planning our wedding from NY/NJ, we were lucky to find Daryl and Beth as they made the planning process a cinch with frequent replies and a number of concference calls. Not only incredibly organized, the entire 1216 team worked with a 30+ person wedding party from NYC (you can only imagine how difficult 30 New Yorkers could be to work with…then add alcohol!!!) to efficiently move along photo setups and locations. And when it came to the ceremony, it seemed like every time we turned around, either the videographer or one of the photographers was right there to take those candid shots we wanted. To top it all off, the drone hovering over our cocktail party and second line was just so cool. I promise you, there is no other photo/video vendor you should seek out in the Big Easy… Can't wait to see the final product!

What's more, we took some SUPER COOL pics throughout the French Quarter and the venue, and Daryl and Elizabeth were full of ideas and suggestions, while also allowing us to add our own personality to the shoot. nch Quarter restaurant and I really wanted my pictures to reflect a New Orleans/French Quarter wedding. Because I didn't have a bridal party, I didn’t really expect to have a “fun” pre wedding morning, However Darryl and Elizabeth were so amazing and so genuine that I had the best pre wedding turn up ever. Elizabeth kept me calm and comfortable as she captured intimate moments with my mom and I. She also kept me laughing. There was a moment where my mom needed help getting me in my dress and Elizabeth totally stepped in and offered assistance ...all while taking pictures!! Elizabeth wore so many hats that day...she was my photographer, my confidant, and wedding expert (I had no idea how to wear my wedding band and she quickly told me the band is closer to the heart...I absolutely loved her!). Daryl was just as fun. When he left my bridal suite to go take pictures of the groom, he gladly obliged when I asked him to deliver a tequila shot to my awaiting groom. After my brief wedding ceremony, Darryl and Elizabeth took my husband and I on a photo shoot throughout the French Quarter and it was absolutely EPIC!!!! Not only do they know how to capture the best shots, they know how to have a good time!!! We had soooo much fun and they captured all of these priceless moments. If I had to sum up a description for 1216 Studio, I would have to say that they take amazing photos while totally blending in with the wedding party. They are sooooo nice and genuine that my family thought that we were all old friends. The pictures that they capture are simply captivating, artistic, and organic. I cannot thank 1216 Studio for my amazing pictures, but also for their wonderful work ethic and personalities. I am BEYOND pleased!
