Daryl and Beth were fantastic. We collaborated regarding what kinds of shots we wanted, gave some preferences and then they worked their magic. They were creative, suggested interesting shots and made sure to provide feedback during the whole process to make sure we both looked our best. They were very active the entire ceremony and reception making sure to get shots of guests and us partying on the dance floor. We got a beautiful collection of first look photos a few days after the wedding and then we are expecting our final images within 3-4 weeks. I would 100% recommend hiring 1216 Photography for anyone looking for a photographer in the New Orleans area.

The owners of 1216 STUDIO, Daryl and Elizabeth, are known for making soon-to-be newlyweds feel at ease on their big day. To say they enjoy what they do is a massive understatement. They see the magic in both big and seemingly small moments, from every smile, laugh, and happy tear to your epic moves on the dance floor. They understand that each wedding is as unique as the couple it celebrates and will work closely with you to find creative ways to capture your event's essence. They shoot every wedding together and hope to make photography one of the most natural and fun parts of your wedding. 1216 STUDIO would be honored to document any milestone surrounding your big day and can even travel to your destination wedding. Using the best possible equipment, exclusively Nikon, they'll leave you with impeccably edited high-resolution images. Your package will include multiple photographers, editing and retouching, up to 3,000 shots, a digital gallery, and a mobile photo app. In addition to digital albums, they can provide a selection of keepsakes, including prints, flush-mount albums, canvases, save-the-dates, and thank-you cards.

They were flexible on locations for the day of (hotel+venue), made sure we got the pictures we really wanted, captured everything perfectly, and really made us feel special and unique. The wife could tell I was super nervous and she helped me relax and laugh while getting ready. On top of all of that, they are so kind and willing to work with you on packages to personalize it for you and your family. We mostly communicated through email, and to get all of the pictures and the album took some time (Covid, our procrastination, etc), but everything was 100% worth the wait! ou are seriously missing out if you do not hire Daryl and Elizabeth as your photographers. The most important advice we received prior to getting married was "spend the money on a photographer", you will not receive quality work for a budget photographer you've found on craigslist. 1216 is very reasonable for the amount of work they put into your day. They both arrived promptly when they were supposed to day of, had literally the entire day planned out for us (they said jump and we said how high). This alone took a ton of stress off our backs! Plus, they're very cool! They had plan A, B, and C for weather concerns, kept us in the loop, communicated frequently, and honestly we had a great time hanging out with them. They made sure that we had every shot we wanted, and added extra fun shots we didn't think of, they provided us with a schedule prior to our wedding, and really took care of our needs. They went above and beyond. Awesome people.
