So when it came time for me to hand over the reins for my wedding, it was a very different experience for me. Not because I didn’t trust her, but because I’m so used to throwing myself in to make everything happen. Kirsten handled all the vendors, worked with my friends to get everything set up perfectly at the venue, and insisted I not lift a finger the day of the wedding. (My biggest challenge!) She made sure we ate, that we were comfortable and happy, and we had what we needed. At the end of the day my father asked specifically about her, because he was unbelievably impressed with her, and all she had done. Considering I get my “make a list, then go get it done” traits from him, that speaks volumes. I know full well she walked/jogged/ran all over that venue all day (and it was HOT!). And somehow she never stopped making us feel like she was genuinely happy to be sharing the day with us, and that our happiness and ease were her utmost priority. I ran into Kirsten a couple of weeks after the wedding and I could have burst out of my skin. I might have tackled her. OK, I did tackle her. Because I adore her, and truly enjoyed getting to know her over these past couple months. I would not have been able to enjoy my wedding day the way I did without Kirsten. It was truly the most amazing day ever. For anyone on the fence about hiring a day of coordinator or wedding planner, please listen when I say that you truly need one to fully enjoy your special day. And if you want it to be flawless, that person better be Kirsten.

During our phone calls, the question that she typically led with was "How can I help you not feel so stressed?" or "What are the areas that are stressing you the most, so that I can be of assistance?". This was a breath of fresh air because with most vendors you are greeted with a running to do list. Kirsten was great when it came to managing vendor relationships and she was not afraid to be the voice of the couple. She made sure to ensure that our needs and desires were met. Managing vendors can be a juggling act but she left her mark on them and each of them came up to us to say "Gosh, I just love her!", which echoed our thoughts of Kirsten as well! We also had a lively wedding party of 14 different personalities and managing these adults was quite the task in itself but her and her team knew just how to communicate to keep them in line and keep their spirits bright! I am not sure how Yvonne from 12in12 Design Group did it but she made sure that all 7 groomsmen looked their best and were wrinkle free! She even helped Hubby look his best for our big day! :) The communication was a mixture between email, phone call, and text message, so it was pretty convenient to quickly discuss our wedding needs. The final 30 days leading up to the wedding are the most stressful and quick communication is very crucial, so I loved having Kirsten readily available to help me feel calm despite the chaos around me. If you or anyone that you know are in need of a Wedding Planner or Month/Day of Coordinator, I would definitely recommend choosing Kirsten and her amazing team at 12in12 Design Group! They will help you turn your dream wedding into reality!

would be incredibly involved in my own wedding. I thought it would be difficult to relinquish that responsibility to someone else. It was important that the coordinator must be able to manage the details of the day just as I would and Kirsten exceeded my expectations in every facet! From the moment I met her she was prompt, courteous, decisive and knowledgeable. Her professionalism and personality eased all of my initial concerns. I was incredibly impressed at how she was able to recognize which aspects that were extremely important to us in addition make appropriate decisions for those details we were dispassionate about. Needless to say the wedding day was perfect, greater than everything we imagined and we are so thankful to have had Kirsten by our side.

f and it shows. When we talked about dresses she had 4 designers to throw out off the top of her head. When I had etiquette questions she always had the correct answer. She went over the top for us and my guests had a wonderful time at our wedding. Thank you KK and if we do a vow renewal I'm calling you first!
