Charming Exeter CA Downtown Wedding Venue
Holds ceremonies and receptions
Our daughter’s wedding reception was held at 137 Events. The Facility is first class. The tables, chairs, glasses, dance floor…the whole nine…was beautiful. Tracy and Cheryl worked hard to make sure the whole event came off without a hitch. We had a full service reception. So they obtained the caterer, decorated, arranged the flowers. Every aspect of the event was coordinated by these ladies in a timely, professional, and excellent manner. What’s more is that we had this wedding reception on a scorching hot day in July. Yet, the room temperature was cool for our over 200 guests as we ate, danced, and had a wonderful time. Our photographer was present for the first time at this venue and commented a number of times on how great it was for shooting photos. We can’t recommend 137 Events highly enough.

137 Events was the perfect space for a wedding. The venue is beautifully restored and looks great even with nothing in it. It’s nestled in quaint downtown Exeter and has all the charm you would expect. The patio is a must if weather allows! The owners were so professional and genuine and willing to do as much or as little as needed. I couldn’t recommend this venue more!

Originally constructed in 1938, the building was once home to the Kaweah Movie Theater. which allowed for many creative possibilities in which to utilize the space. The building accommodated a large buffet, drink station, dance floor, an area to give speeches and an area to display pictures of the bride and groom as well as a welcome sign. The lighting was great and the bathroom was well stocked and clean. I highly recommend 137 Events for your upcoming event! The venue is a large canvas waiting to be creatively utilized.

ves with the 137 events venue space and all they provide for their services. I recommend anyone I know to check them out as I know they will not be disappointed. Other than the venue, I received very prompt responses to any questions I had inquired about. Which helped immensely when I had a million other details that I needed to attend too for my time frame. Even when I had to move my service from outside to inside, they helped me so much with the transition at such a short notice. Me and my husband felt very taken care of. I have nothing but beautiful memories from my day. ❤️
Lastly, the event space is modernized to where you can just go in and make it your own. That’s a great thing that 137 events offers. I love that it’s not outdated or a too busy looking venue. The bridal suite is perfection!! Just wonderful!!

22. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue. All of our guests had a wonderful time and couldn’t praise the venue and the owners of venue enough. This venue offers so much more than just a place to have your special event. Indoor, outdoor or both, chairs, tables, dance floor, decor, I could go on but I’d rather tell any bride to be that this is the venue you need to book now.
