*ANNOUNCEMENT* It is with a bittersweet ending that we will be closing out our bookings for our last season as of July 1st, 2023. We will no longer be able to accept bookings here at 1621. ---- 1621 Alton is conveniently located in the heart of Irvine, CA. It offers a unique outdoor venue with tall trees that create a one-of-a-kind atmosphere for any couple looking to say their vows, without breaking the bank. An unexpected touch of outdoors in an industrial area that will help transform any occasion into a night to be remembered. Eureka also offers an indoor venue for cocktail hour or a small reception accommodating 40-60 guests with space for dancing. With flexibility on most vendors to 12 hours of event time, 1621 is a venue not to look over.

The very first vendor we picked for our wedding was our venue. We were on a budget and knew we would want to bring in a lot of our own vendors. Our wedding was booked early on, and I had many many many emails and meetings with Taylor, the venue...
director, and she is by far one of the best people I have met. I had many concerns (how will you flip the space in time, what about more bathrooms, what if it's too hot or it rains), and she was able to answer them all in a timely manner AND she was so communicative, it made me feel at ease.
The space itself was so beautiful. Outdoors with a bunch of trees and lights and so much space. It it quite literally a blank canvas and I was able to have a vision and bring it to life. There is plenty of parking (which was a big concern for me) and it was convenient for all of my guests!
This place might not look like much, but trust me, it can be turned into something so beautiful! Every time a friend of mine, or even someone I hardly know, are having some type of event, I ALWAYS recommend Eureka before anything and a lot of that is based on how lovely Taylor is. My husband and I actually will still continue to come here for other events they host because it's such a great space!

We contracted for the Park as a venue for a small and intimate wedding reception. The venue was fine. The service staff was fine, but the administration of the event really disappointed me. When we got closer to the process, the venue manager t...
ried to get us to contract directly with the furniture/linen rental vendor. We were fine with that, however, this was a divergence from what our contract specified. When working with the rental vendor, they made us meet them at their office only to waste an hour to "up-sell" us on things we didn't want. We already had our furniture and linens identified in the contract, we did not want to waste time being sold to. Later, when contacting the venue manager about going with a different vendor, she informed me that we would be charged an additional amount for doing that. When pressed on it, she backed off and realized this was not something that existed in our contract (I guess they are changing their contract to have the clients contract with the rental vendor directly). The execution of the event was fine, but due to all of the administrative mishaps along the way, this place caused a lot of unnecessary stress.

We have shared the feedback regarding the process with the rentals to our vendor and have stressed the importance that they review their procedures with their customer service personnel to ensure better client experiences in the future.
We understand that the policy change during planning was not ideal and caused a certain amount of strain. We did our best to address this during the duration of your venue arrangements along with the $1,200 upfront venue discount we had provided at the time of your booking. From what our event staff reported, it seemed that everyone was in good spirits and we are happy that you chose our venue and team to be a part of your special day.

The Eureka building was our ideal venue for our very large, loud and fun wedding. Taylor and her crew could not have been more accommodating. It also just came out so beautiful. I couldn't believe how pretty it was! I was extremely happy!

lexibility of selecting food/drinks and when we met with Taylor, she was so accommodating and responsive to our requests. Unlike other places they didn't up sell us on anything but assisted through the planning process to assure we have the wedding we wanted. Great venue, amazing staff!

Taylor is the Events Director at 1621 Alton. After starting her own wedding planning in 2016, she fell in love with weddings and helping couples make their own wedding days special.
She believes that wedding planning should be a fun, yet collaborative experience and has partnered with fantastic vendors to create seamless events for all of the venues clients.
