About this vendor
Eighteen Hundred Drayton Catering & Events is the Upstate’s premiere wedding venue. This sophisticated and adaptable space resides within historic Drayton Mills, which was awarded the National Community Impact Award and the 2018 S.C. Honor Award and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Beginning August 2019 we will be a full service facility with Catering, beverage service and event planning & coordinating services.
The venue features a Grand Hall, which holds up to 300, and more intimate settings, such as a cocktail lounge and private green rooms. In total, the indoor venue encompasses 8,800 sq. feet, including a dance floor, catering kitchen, and a fleet of mobile beverage service stations. A 20,000-square-foot natural lawn is available for larger events.

. After many meals there, we knew they'd do a phenomenal job for us! We had a large grazing table, bacon shooter, and other handhelds at our cocktail hour, and our guests loved them! At the reception, we decided to do multiple stations, which allowed us to maintain a variety of different foods. My husband is Hungarian and grew up in Hungary, which we discussed with Bob. Bob did some research and found some traditional Hungarian wedding dishes to make for the day! He had cabbage rolls and chicken soup shooters that were to die for! Bob, Emily, and his team are friendly, accommodating, and responsive! I cannot recommend them enough!

She helped to customize my experience at the venue, did a walk through on the week of my wedding to ensure everything was planned and arranged how I wanted. She was a calm and pleasant person to work with and helped make our dream day possible. The grand hall was decorated SO beautifully - it exceeded my expectations as far as how perfect everything looked. We had uplighting (a great enhancement by our DJ) in the grand hall and utilized the screens with our wedding logo. We also had a smore's station using the outdoor fire pits. The venue is a little pricey but it does include set up of tables and chairs AND it's beautiful. I used Gena and Karen from ONBB and they helped decorate and coordinate the whole wedding!
