About this vendor
1860 Saloon, Game Room & Hardshell Cafe is conveniently located in the heart of Historic Soulard and offers a unique atmosphere with historic decor. There are openings for private parties in the Game Room Monday thru Wednesday, day and night and some Saturday early afternoons. However, weekend nights are not available for private events. You'll find more information on our "Private Party Info" tab on our 1860saloon.com website.
1860s has been in the Soulard neighborhood for over 35 years. One feature that makes it so unique and fun is that there are three experiences (rooms) in one location. The Saloon, the Game Room and the Hardshell Cafe each have friendly service with a bar, table seating, restrooms, and outside entrance, while sharing one menu.
The original room, 1860 Saloon, is where local and regional musicians play blues, classic rock, Motown and more every night and twice on Saturdays and Sundays. The vintage back bar, wood floors and small stage is a great atmosphere to entertain up to 75 local and loyal patrons as well as out of town visitors.
The Game Room, with its high wood-beamed ceiling, wall of windows and large brick fireplace promises a fun experience. Guests enjoy foosball, shuffleboard, darts, arcade games, televised sports and more for a unique place to relax with friends. Private parties are regularly booked on week nights and some weekend afternoons.
The Hardshell Cafe room is a New Orleans courtyard environment. With restaurant style seating, customers enjoy the expansive and highly rated menu of fresh seafood and Cajun specialties in a setting featuring a 500 gallon fish tank and two photogenic “Giant Jesters”.
1860’s is open 365 days a year and, in addition to the daily live music, has a shuttle for customers to be conveniently dropped off and picked up from St. Louis Cardinals, Blues and other sports games. It is also one of Soulard’s original Mardi Gras bars, celebrating the annual season from January's 12th Night to Fat Tuesday. The bar is located at the corner of 9th & Geyer, one mile south of Busch Stadium, with parking in the lot across the street and on the residential side streets.
