I had wanted the bowties for the groom and groomsmen to match my bridesmaid dresses and in came 1886 Modern Man to the rescue! She was able to match the color and was able to have it done in a short amount of time. The package even included a...

little "how-to" diagram on typing the bowtie. I would absolutely order from 1886 Modern Man again!

The designer behind 1886modernman.com is me, Cristina. I am a Graphic/Web Designer by trade, but an all out designer through and through. I am constantly building my inventory and I am always finding new fabrics to use for the bow ties I make. YES! I make all these bow ties myself. I have also created the lovely packaging and logo. The bow ties are made to be adjustable so that anyone can wear them AND they are self tie...the 'old school' way. Tying a bow tie may seem daunting at first, but really it's but really it's just as simple as tying the laces on your shoes...just a little prettier.
