disappointed. The large porch with customary rocking chairs and the wood flooring throughout the lobby area reassured me that this building had stories to tell. I was checked into the Edminster King Room on the second floor, overlooking the grounds in front of the building. The room did not have a routine chain hotel vibe but did have a vintage feel one would expect from a long-standing and historical building. Jennifer and Mark were wonderful hosts and did an exceptional job attending to guests and getting the grounds prepared for the afternoon ceremony. The accommodations and ceremony made for a very memorable weekend.

owners themselves alongside their family and friends. The rooms are impeccably clean and comfortable, offering a cozy retreat. The common areas exude a sense of timeless tradition, tastefully adorned to create a home atmosphere.
We appreciate having access to a kitchen where we can store and reheat leftovers, adding to the convenience. The owners consistently go above and beyond to accommodate any special requests or simple inquiries. Once you experience the warmth and hospitality here for the first time, you'll find yourself longing to return. It's an ideal spot for a relaxing getaway weekend.

What truly sets this inn apart, however, is the warmth of the staff. They were incredibly welcoming and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed. The owners were very quick to accommodate my husband and I when we unexpectedly needed to extend our stay.
Whether you're sitting on the rocking chair front porch with a cup of coffee, exploring the picturesque grounds, or relaxing on the back porch to catch sunset, this historic inn in Badin offers a peaceful retreat that you will not soon forget.
I highly recommend it for anyone looking to escape into a serene, beautiful setting with a big touch of history. We even squeezed in a round of frisbee golf! And in my opinion, the course offers some of the most amazing views on the property!
We will definitely be back again when visiting family in Badin!
