ery hard to get in contact with danielle some days and when we would plan meetings her time slots were in the middle of the day which is hard for a person working a 9-5…. also a few weeks before the wedding after planning everything with danielle we were told another girl was going to be helping us the day of the wedding. Danielle assured us we would be well taken care of but honestly i did not feel that way. My bridesmaids and MOH also agreed. I constantly had to ask what time it was and ask about the timeline when she should have been at my side reminding me. All guests needed to be escorted upstairs for cocktail hour instead everyone was just standing around confused on where to go next after the ceremony. i couldn’t even help my guests because I was taking photos with the photographer (that should’ve been her job to tell them where to go). she also didn’t remind us order of events during reception like cake cutting first dance etc… A lot of the times she was nowhere to be found, and I was running around looking for her. she started taking down decorations way before the reception was over. I had guests coming up to me still asking where to put the cards because she put the card box in the bridal suite way to early… journeyman forgot to put out thank spirit bottles for our guests that we paid a lot for, not sure who to blame for that but feel like our wedding planner should of known those needed to be put out….. overall don’t feel the service was worth 3,000

She even sprinted to go get my bouquet I forgot before I walked down the aisle. I’ll never forgot that act of kindness. I will recommend 1928 to anyone and everyone. ❤️

After a couple of meetings, she captured everything that we were looking for on our wedding day(ceremony and reception) and on the day of the wedding her decor design and set up was so much more than we could have imagined. On our wedding day, there wasn't a single thing we needed to worry about or stress over - Danielle was an absolute Rockstar. She handled all decoration set up, coordination with all vendors, and ensured everything happened on time, all while being extremely professional and accommodating. You can tell that Danielle has passion for this and it shows in her work. We, honestly, felt like we were always Danielle's #1 priority and I could not recommend her enough. If you want every detail for your wedding to be perfect and to not stress about vendors, design and other details, you need Danielle. :)

Leading up to our big day, Danielle was extremely helpful in providing input, answering questions, recommending vendors, adapting to change, and gathering all the little details to ensure the team was prepared. Justine was with us on our actual wedding day, and perfectly executed all the plans that I had worked so hard on and communicated previously. She made game-time decisions when necessary, directed us through unknown parts of the day, helped coordinate with vendors, and helped the day flow as we hoped it would. I live out of state, but all of our virtual appointments were extremely productive and accommodating; I was able to meet with her in person once, along with my mom, and it was extremely reassuring and helpful! Justine was assigned as our on-site coordinator on the big day, and she was amazing. She handled all of the decorating wonderfully - even having to move the ceremony inside at the last minute. Having someone there at the end of the night to pack everything up so my family and I could leave was truly so great. I cannot recommend day of coordination services enough, and 1928 Planning Co is the best!

Her consultations were always SO helpful and as a very type-A couple ourselves, we were always surprised by how many moments we had where she'd ask us questions that we hadn't thought through yet. Danielle is incredibly organized and really made us feel confident in knowing the wedding would be successful with her help. On the actual wedding day, she helped with all the decorations (and we had a lot!), organizing all of our small touches, making the space look perfect, and kept us on schedule even when we were late returning from some pictures during cocktail hour. The 1928 team ensured that our wedding went smoothly without any issues, and we couldn't be more grateful for them! They also did an amazing job of taking down all the decorations and cleaning everything up so we didn't have to worry about anything. e for partial planning and utilized some of her rental collection. We were both three hours from the venue location so we really relied on Danielle's local expertise. Throughout our two year planning process, Danielle was extremely responsive and was always available to meet with us. We always felt like a priority even when we were years away from our date. Planning a wedding is stressful but after one minute of talking to Danielle, all of our stress melted away. Danielle is an extremely calming presence, very professional, and is on top of everything. the parts of planning a wedding. The Day of Coordination was also incredible. The 1928 team set up all of our decor on the day of our wedding and boxed everything up at the end of the night. The decor looked incredible. We had a lot of decor that we had purchased to set up and everything looked better than I could have hoped for. They also kept our evening running smoothly and helped coordinate the shuttle bus throughout the night to help guest get back to their hotels. We also rented some items from 1928 including their firepit and chairs for outdoors in the courtyard and their giant jenga set. These items were used all night and guests seemed to really enjoy them. I would absolutely recommend using 1928.

We didn't necessarily need someone to help us plan our event from the beginning, but what we really needed was someone who could take our vision and run with it. Danielle took our plan and worked with us for months leading up to our wedding. She worked with us to complete the most specific and comprehensive google doc that had every single moment of the actual day planned and organized. With this doc I was able to send her messages with new updates and upload photos for the design we were going for. She made our vision come to life with more sparkle and pizazz than I could have hoped for. To her additional credit I almost never saw her until she needed me to move to the next location or she wanted to bring me a cocktail and if there were any issues, I never heard about a single one. She was our team leader and she performed her duties 100% successfully. Not only did she put together the most beautiful wedding, but she also tore it all down on her own which is INSANE because we brought everything in a uhaul having had to travel hours to our venue. She packed up our entire wedding in about an hour and we never even saw it happening. Hiring 1928 to be our day of planner was the absolute best investment we made when it came to our wedding. I will shout it from the rooftops to any of my friends getting married. Do yourself a favor in advance, and just hire them now. You don't need to look any further or think any more on it. Just do it.

a detail left behind. The place cards were made incorrectly by me and they didn't skip a beat on making new ones and hand cutting them hours before the wedding. We had a few events take place that messed up our timeline not due to the vendor but us and they again didn't skip a beat, changed up the timeline to accommodate everything we had going on. Everything was packed up and nothing was left behind. I would recommend using them for your big day ! I don't think it would have turned out the way it did without them.

Nobody came when I was getting ready, I wasn’t being guided to keep on timeline, didn’t ask if I needed anything or even a drink when I had nothing during toasts. They basically were MIA and only there to setup and tare down (which hour florist or venue could do). A day of planner should be by your side when needed which was not the case. Not to mention they didn’t save any of my items but assured me it was going to be taken care of. So I was left out of my place cards and my bouquet was thrown out (which I was planning to save). Overall they were a HUGE disappointment and say stay away. I’ve seen many day of planners & they didn’t do anything. My own bridesmaids even noticed the lack of attentiveness.

I appreciated was at no time did I feel like they were forcing me to rent more from them. I truly felt like together we planned what rentals I needed, and when discussing budget they were open to finding ways to save money.

The day of the wedding was perfect. We did upgrade to have decorations put up and taken down. Being from out of town we arrived to Saint Joseph on Thursday. I did not have to think or do anything for the wedding until the day of. I chose to do my own flowers, so the day of we dropped off our decorations and flowers. Spent about an hour putting them together, and from there the 1928 team did the rest. When we arrived for the ceremony everything was perfect. They followed my ideas and plans to the T. Thanks to Danielle and 1928 I was able to enjoy time with family and friends, relax before the wedding, and live in the moment the second we arrived. I cannot imagine my day without them!

She worked with me over the phone since I am from out of state to make sure she had our vision down and was extremely flexible and super accommodating with us dropping off all the décor at the 1928 Planning Co. office ahead of time.
