From the very beginning, 1979Hawaii made us feel like our wedding was about us, not about how much we could spend. When we shared that we were simple and didn’t care about extravagant extras, they truly listened and never once tried to upsell us or convince us that we needed more. What ultimately sold us on booking with them was their honesty and integrity. They genuinely told us they didn’t want us going into debt for our wedding and reassured us that there was no reason to choose a higher-tier package when what we wanted could be accomplished beautifully without one. That meant so much to us, especially after speaking with other companies that focused on our “decent” budget and seemed more interested in encouraging us to spend it. 1979Hawaii’s genuine concern for what was best for us made all the difference. We never felt like just another wedding or another paycheck, we felt heard, respected, and cared for. That level of honesty and thoughtfulness gave us complete confidence that we were in the right hands, and it was one of the many reasons we are so grateful we chose them for such an important day in our lives.

With years of experience in customer service, event planning, and sales, I’m passionate about listening to my clients and bringing their wedding visions to life with attention to every detail. At 1979Hawaii, we specialize in all-inclusive wedding packages, giving you peace of mind while we handle the planning. I’m lucky to have an amazing team that brings everything together: Morgan and Mary handle planning, Serena, Lauri, and Connie manage the day-of details, and Micky and Ikaika lead the bar team. Leilani and Sean oversee catering, with our chefs and servers delivering exceptional food and service. When I’m not planning weddings, I enjoy farming and finding inspiration in nature, surfing, traveling and exploring foodies. erent tiers of all-inclusive packages and that is exactly what we needed for our destination wedding. Planning from afar was nerve-racking to say the least. The 1979 Hawaii team has been able to keep our communications open and clear. They were very responsive and provided assurance when needed. Eventually, everything turned out better than we could imagine. On the wedding day, the team took care of everything (from set up to breakdown) for us, so that we could enjoy our big day to the fullest. I have to say, their pina colada served in pineapples was the biggest highlight, other than the newly-wed couple of course! :) My personal favorite was the champagne wall! After the wedding, since the photographer was booked with our wedding package, Yarden remained in touch to ensure the gallery was delivered in time and made sure we were satisfied. Overall, 10 out of 10 experience!

w we were in great hands. She walked us through everything and on my daughter’s wedding day everything was perfect, and flawless! The team was so kind, kept everything from beginning to end moving exactly as it was suppose to, and they even helped with a dress malfunction! The attention to detail was as INCREDIBLE! They thought of things that we didn’t and made sure everything was taken care of. I was nervous planning a wedding two states away but it was so easy to do, having 1979 Hawai’i walk us through it. We chose the Hibiscus package, premium catering and bar package, and some amazing add-ons like the lounge area, kids lounge, and lei making workshop. We created a vision board on Pinterest, and Morgan's team brought it to life with their exceptional planning skills and attention to detail. The planning process was seamless, thanks to the genius planning form that kept everything organized and in one place. On the wedding day, everything was executed flawlessly. We had three coordinators who handled the setup, vendor management, and communication with the bridal party with ease and professionalism. The ceremony was perfect, the cocktail hour was entertaining, and the food and drinks were TO DIE FOR! Our guests are still raving about them months later. The kids loved the kids lounge, and the adults enjoyed the photobooth, hula show, and lei making workshop. The lounge area was the perfect spot for our families to connect and bond, which was one of my main goals for the wedding. From our first virtual meeting to our last, they were very understanding and accommodating with our time differences and busy schedules. Yarden and her team are experts in their craft and will ensure that they bring your wedding vision to life. With not living in Hawaii, we were able to turn to Yarden to give helpful advice and guidance. On our wedding day, we were welcomed by Yarden and her staff, and they were very warm and friendly towards us and all of our guests. Yarden was especially attentive towards me as the bride, and was kind, helpful, and supportive. ned. Yarden knows what the hell she is doing and made it as stress free for us as possible. I put all my trust in her and she delivered and THEN SOME! All my guests told me our wedding was the best that they've ever been to. We planned from out of state and have never seen the venue so when we arrived on our wedding day for the first time .. holy shit..that we were in awe. The venue itself is beautiful but the small details made it even better. It was just gorgeous and amazing i cant even put into words. The pictures online dont do it justice. Like any bride, we stressed ourselves out for no reason but I am very thankful yarden and her team were there for every step of the way. I'm glad she took the reigns and knew what vendors were the best. You will not regret it. She made our day such an unforgettable experience. I would book her again and again and again! If you're the type that doesn't like to plan or would like for someone to take over.. she is the one to do it. She's been in this business for over 15 years. She knows what she's doing.

It makes me emotionally thinking back on our wedding day with the attention to detail 1979 Hawaii gave us. Not only did they treat me and my husband like royalty, they gave their attention to our guests. Cocktails were amazing, the staff was sooo so lovely. Even the disposable bamboo plates were so cute and didn’t detract from our aesthetic. I couldn’t have asked for better service all together. Thank you for elevating our wedding!!

For our day, they took care of the catering, service, lei making, hula dancing, and acai bowl station at Paliku Gardens and we could not have been more pleased with everything they were a part of. The food was wonderful, they were patient and flexible as timing shifts were made during the reception that evening, and they truly went above and beyond to ensure every aspect of the night went smoothly. Yarden worked incredibly hard to ensure all details that we discussed in advance of the day were translated. I received a package that included pineapple frozen drinks which the guests loved during the warmth of an outdoor wedding. Pineapples or coconuts are a must for a hawaii wedding! Our reception was so dreamy under the Hawaii mountains and string lights. The food was AMAZING! All of our guests are still telling us how much they enjoyed the food and drinks by the 1979. Yarden was so great the day of the wedding. She has a calm demeanor, which helped ease any pre-wedding jitters. 1979 Hawaii. Yarden really helped me with my vision (which, I have to admit, I didn’t even have one. All I had was the idea we would elope in Hawaii lol) By asking questions and providing suggestions, SHE picked my brain to ensure she was giving me the ultimate experience. Everything turned out so beautiful and what I really have to highlight is the food!!!!! Oh my gosh!! Food ia always the biggest concerns at any sort of party or event and I’m not gonna lie, you’re spending on food you’ve never tried before so obviously, it’s worrisome what you’ll receive or you’re anxious about the quality but whoa! I was SO HAPPY the food and drinks taste amazing!! I’m still waiting on my wedding photos but I cannot wait to share with friends and family all the details and I’d encourage anyone to get married in Hawaii and hire this wonderful team! ❤️

covid, but she made sure we were taken care of for EVERYTHING. She provided us with great ideas based on the aesthetic we wanted, and designed a personal and meaningful destination wedding for us. (Zoom calls and emails with her were our lifelines during the planning process) 1979 is truly a one stop shop for everything you need; bar, food, dishware rentals, tables, lights, lounge tents (we loved this), etc. Yarden was extremely flexible in helping us navigate through the uncertainties of planning a wedding during a global pandemic. And not only was she quick to reply to any question we had, she kept us excited about new suggestions throughout. Our guests are still raving about it being the best wedding they've ever been to, and can't stop talking about their signature drinks (fresh pina coladas, welcome coconuts at the ceremony) and food! (Particularly the ahi poke and teriyaki grilled sirloin) Their service is world class and I highly recommend them without hesitation. 1979 made our wedding day perfect and for that, we will always be grateful to Yarden and her team.

The bartenders were so fun and interacted with my friends and family, they were so funny and professional. I can't believe I didn't find them sooner.
