I cannot recommend first generation enough! Morris was a consummate professional from the minute I reached out to him. Every question I had throughout the process was addressed quickly, and it was such a weight off my shoulders planning a wedding and knowing that at least my band would be great! The actual wedding…words can’t describe how happy I was with their performance. I heard their first song and my husband and I looked at each other knowing that the night would be a BLAST! Every single person in the band was beyond talented. I had so many people come up to me during the wedding asking where we found them! I told them it was my maid of honors birthday, and they busted out into the most impressive and entertaining rendition of happy birthday. And the saxophone player on the dance floor was unexpected and AWESOME! I truly don’t have enough positive things to say about this group. Half of my family has a musical background, and they are tough critics. They are still talking about how talented and entertaining this band is! I really think a wedding band can make or break your reception. If you want it made, book first generation!!!!
I hired the 1st Generation Band for my mother’s 80thbirthday celebration, and they exceeded every expectation. From the very beginning, working with the band leader, Morris, was a professional and seamless experience. He guided me through the planning process, answered my questions, and made sure everything was well organized for the day of the event. The band arrived several hours early to set up, which gave me great confidence that everything would run smoothly. Once they began performing, I was truly blown away. The sound was absolutely spectacular, from the vocalists to the horns and every instrument in between. The 1st Generation Band is truly a cut above, and their live performance delivered an energy and quality that far exceeded what any website or video could capture. At one point during the evening, the entire room of 150 guests seemed to pause and take in the performance. Their song selections, stage presence, and interaction with the crowd made the celebration unforgettable. They also took time to personally acknowledge my mother with heartfelt birthday wishes during and after the event, which meant so much to our family. Throughout the evening, guests repeatedly asked, “Where did you find this band?” Several have already requested their contact information for future events. I would highly recommend the 1st Generation Band to anyone looking for an exceptional, professional, and memorable live music experience. Thanks so much Morris and the Band. You guys made my Mom’s day so special. The Marietta Hilton rocked that night
