Jojo is a professional hair stylist and makeup artist She began her beauty industry passion at a very early age. She knew exactly what she wanted to do and where she wanted to be. She has always loved doing hair; from styling doll hair to practicing on her friends. She had a passion and knew it had to be expanded upon.
Jojo is now her own boss where she continues to work behind the chair at her studio and travels onsite to provide makeup and hair services. “Hair is my art and I love the process of transforming clients from start to finish.”

venue cancelled our wedding last minute due to a blizzard - we decided to get married in our hotel room. We were unsure if our vendors would still be able to make it - JoJo said “don’t worry, I’ll be there.” From the start, JoJo was a very clear, concise communicator and provided us with a detailed schedule for hair and makeup services for the big day. I wasn’t sure what to expect, I tried checking out her website and was having issues with it loading, so I didn’t really see much examples of her work outside of what’s posted on the knot. I was very pleasantly surprised with what she did during the trial and the wedding day looked even better than the trial! Everyone kept commenting on my hair and makeup.
I didn’t quite know what I wanted, but jojo was very helpful. She gave suggestions based on broken ideas I had. The results came out really well. She’s very knowledgeable and listens to what you want but also makes her own suggestions too based on her experience. As someone who isn’t into hair and makeup I found that really helpful - I needed some nudging.

I have really thin hair and we discussed the possibility that I would need extensions to get the style I wanted, so she both gave me recommendations for where to go to get extensions that would fit my hard-to-match hair color and she agreed to give me a second trial once I got them for free since we couldn’t really complete a style the first time. On the day of…She did my entire wedding party and both moms and everyone looked absolutely fabulous. The week was a blur and I completely forgot that I should time washing my hair to have 1 day old hair, so I ended up with clean hair and still she made it beautiful. I love the way that it flowed and got a little messy in the wind when we were taking pictures on the beach.
