2 Gals With Flowers

So I will start off by saying that the price is great for the flowers but the costumer service from these "professionals" left so much to be desired. I had so much trouble communicating with Melian at first because she was constantly promising me emails that she would never send. I had also told her several times what my color scheme was and when I got the flowers, there were colors that I didn't expect or want in the bouquets. This could have all been forgiven and understood if Melian and her partner were not so rude on the day of my wedding day. She brought a few assistants with her that were very kind but she herself was clearly only concerned about getting her money. This could be a great little company if they knew a little more about costumer service. She brought unnecessary negativity into my wedding day

Melian Grant did the flowers & decorating for our wedding 3 1/2 years ago. The reason I'm only now writing the review is I've had difficulties reliving some of the experiences of that day partly due to Melian. I write this to help give me some closure since there was no closure given on her end & to help save anyone from going through what we went through. The personal flowers & ceremony baby's breath flowers turned out great, but that's as much positivity as I can truthfully say. In the planning process I offered for my family to help her & her partner decorate the tables the day of since we had a very large wedding. She insured me multiple times her & her partner could handle everything just fine so I chose to trust her instead of myself. Without going into tons of detail we had a difficult process with the flowers & decor before we met Melian. She was supposed to save the day. Instead she just added to the difficulty. While I was literally about to walk down the aisle she attempted to try to get me to pause the processional to get her her check. Why she thought that was the ideal time to get the check from me that day I'll never know. Then when I walked into my reception excited to finally see my table ideas in person I discovered she never actually finished them. What made it even worse was her attitude about it. When I confronted her about it the day after. She had a very snotty & sarcastic attitude about the whole thing. I can't even understand how she thought that was an appropriate response. It was very pitiful & left a very bad taste in my mouth that when it was all said & done she couldn't even accept responsibility for her actions.

These ladies did a wonderful job creating exactly what I ask for at my wedding. I had price checked with many different chain and local flower shops and was going to have to compromise the flowers I wanted to meet our budget. After talking with these ladies I was able to get everything I want and come out right on budget. At times the ladies were slightly slow in getting back with me but they always did and took care of what need to be done. I knew they did flowers on the side of their normal jobs so I understood it may take them a bit longer to return communications. They set up everything perfectly at the wedding and got everything ready to go. The flowers stayed fresh and looked great all through my outside July wedding and reception. Thank you ladies for helping me make my wedding exactly how I imagined!
