have a couple great dishes but a few mediocre ones. When we tried the food at 2 Guys 1 Pit, we loved all of the food. We honestly couldn’t decide what we wanted to serve at our wedding because everything was so good. On top of that Michelle and her family are the most kind people. They were very responsive to my email communications. However, I will say there was 1 hiccup where my coordinator sent our final timeline and it was not received so the caterers emailed me the night before my wedding day (I was a little stressed by that). Regardless, the food was perfect. Our guests said it was amazing. We were able to bring food home with us and they packed us nice sized “to go” boxes as bride and groom, to which we definitely ate it all in our hotel room. 2 Guys 1 Pit is an absolute favorite of ours and we love to go back to the restaurant and bring our friends and family for a good meal. We definitely recommend them for any catering event!

Outside of food, every last one of them were sweet and amazing. So genuine and down to earth. They really made us feel like family and we cannot thank them enough. I cannot begin to tell you how accommodating Michelle was--working with us to shift dates to August 13 without any hesitation or complication. My daughter and her now husband ended up still getting married on May 22 and just recently had their postponed reception on August 13. Guest after guest approached us last week complimenting the BBQ . . . as we knew they would! Comments such as, "I have a really high standard for BBQ, and that was REALLY good!" and "That BBQ was amazing!" were commonly heard throughout the evening. From the pulled pork, brisket, and sausage to their secret recipe potato salad, mac n cheese, and green beans, guests went back for seconds and even thirds! Guests with dietary needs appreciated having many gluten free options to enjoy as well! In addition to the food being absolutely incredible, I was so impressed with the attention given to the serving details. The homemade crates that housed the chafing dishes were so professional and eye catching. The chargers and wrapped utensils added to the decor and charm. The serving staff were professional and excellent in every way . . . arriving in plenty of time to set up and be ready, were courteous and engaging with the guests, followed safety and food protection protocols, bussed the tables efficiently and without interrupting conversations, and were overall a joy to have at our event. o where we had our tasting in the comfort of their own home, to the day of where everyone raved about the food, this catering company is one that I would 100% recommend to anyone. They even helped cut the cake and cleaned all the plates and trash for us. Michelle and her husband have the kindest souls. Their daughter Brittany is amazing with communication during the whole wedding planning process and they were so flexible when covid hit and we had to quickly make changes to everything. Finding them was truly a God thing.

helle was so kind and actually let me borrow her gold chargers she had at no charge for our event! On March 17th, we had to postpone our wedding to July 3rd. We had already paid for our guests in full since it was only 4 days before our event, but 2 Guys 1 Pit worked with us and allowed us to postpone to July 3rd at no charge, and refunded us for the difference in guest count once we got within 2 weeks of our new date. If you’re looking for affordable GOOD bbq in the Houston area, I highly recommend them! We loved how they were able to take care of our cake cutting, bus the tables, take out the trash, and also provide us our chargers. And more importantly their customer service was amazing! Not only were they great to work with, but they went over the top boxing up left over meals for us and everything! I wish I could give them more than 5 stars!

Again, DIY wedding and knowing nothing about weddings nor vendors Michelle helped me in EVERYTHING, made my life so much easier. She was always ready to help and answer questions, we didn't have day of coordinator either and Michelle went above and beyond her catering business to help me out to have an amazing day. From the food, helping me with the flower set up. There are not enough good things I can say about this company, so if you're looking for DELICIOUS food plus AMAZING service not to mention affordable, you really will not go wrong with them! People loved our bbq!! We went back to the wedding location the next day for clean up and had COLD bbq from our leftovers for dinner, it was STILL delicious! You will love them!!!
