My daughter had Liz and Isabel do makeup and hair for her wedding - bride, 4 bridesmaids and myself, mother of the bride. Liz did a fantastic job with the makeup and Isabel did a great job with all of our hair! Couldn't have been happier with the results. Received so many compliments! Thank you Liz and Isabel! Liz and her team are amazing! We had a large bridal party - there were 11 of us. The team did a wonderful job of listening to what each person wanted and all of us were very happy with the results. As other reviewers have noted, Liz is very calm and lovely to interact with. Phenomenal experience!

Liz, the owner, was fantastic to work with, super responsive, and very talented! She and Isabele did an amazing job with my makeup and hair, respectively, and my mom and my bridesmaids loved their makeup and hair, too. They are both also very sweet and great to work with and kept me calm. Liz did a fantastic job with my makeup and achieved the natural look I was going for, and I loved my wedding hair! I had been a little worried since I decided to change my hair significantly from the trial, but Liz and Isabele really instilled confidence. I was super happy with the results! Liz and her team had done such amazing work with my cousin's and my sister's weddings, that when it was my turn to get married, she was the first person I reached out to see if she was available on my wedding day, and lucky for me, she was! Liz is honestly one of the sweetest people you will ever meet. There were so many times that I had to change things, and she never once complained, and always found a way to help me, which is something that I truly appreciate beyond words. Liz listened to exactly what I was looking for, and as I am someone who is not that comfortable with makeup, she offered her own recommendations. My makeup on the day of the wedding was flawless and I felt so beautiful! The makeup lasted the entire day and survived a night of dancing. You and your team did such an amazing job on everyone's hair and makeup, and my bridesmaids looked beyond gorgeous! Liz was so awesome to work with and I was sooo happy with how my makeup turned out on my wedding day! She was extremely patient with me as I originally had a trial in the summer of 2020 on the morning of my bridal shower (wedding in October 2020). Then the pandemic hit and we ended up postponing to October 2021. By then, I was feeling unsure about what I had originally wanted for my look and decided I wanted to do another trial since so much time had passed. The second trial ended up being over 2 hours as it took a while for me to figure out what I wanted (I don't wear a ton of makeup usually). She executed everything flawlessly! On my wedding day, she showed up with her partner and they worked fast! We actually ended up being ahead of schedule which was amazing as it gave me time to just relax and have fun with my wedding party. I would 100% book her again!

217 did an amazing job on my wedding hair and makeup! They are super efficient without compromising quality! They got hair and makeup done for me as the bride along with 10 others in record time that I had significant time to spare in my schedule! And as my wedding was a full day event, I had touchups and a new hairstyle done and even these were done so fast but still beautiful! As an Indian bride after a Hindu Ceremony, my hair got pretty messed up through the course of the ceremony, but Leilani had it fixed up and looking good as new for the next event! Would highly recommend Liz and the entire team for wedding hair/makeup!

I first used Liz and her 217 Beauty team at my cousin's wedding in 2018. They were SO good and I loved my hair and makeup SO much that 3 years later, I remembered Liz, and used 217 at my own wedding. Being a Covid Bride, Liz did a great job at keeping in touch over the almost two year process it took to finally get to my wedding. She made sure that I had all the instructions I needed so me and my girls were ready and prepared the day of. On the big day, they were prompt, and actually they were early! Isabelle was my hair stylist and she did a fabulous job - I actually changed my hair from my trial, and she nailed it. I also had Lauren as my beauty stylist who stayed with me until the reception, keeping my makeup and hair fresh until the party. 217 is amazing. Liz is amazing. I would refer them to everyone. I hope more of my friends and family use them for big events in the future so I can get beautified by them again!

I absolutely loved my wedding makeup! I don't tend to wear a lot of make up normally so I was nervous for my wedding because I didn't want to look too unnatural. Well, Gabby did an AMAZING job. I wish she could do my makeup everyday! I wanted my eyes to pop but didn't want my face to look overly done and she nailed it. I would definitely recommend hiring them!

Leiliani and Gaby made my day!!! They did such a stunning job with hair and makeup for myself, the bridesmaids and mother of the bride! It was gorgeous work and everyone felt so confident and beautiful! They were true professionals and very easy to work with- low stress, on time and prepared. They put everyone at ease! Liz was also wonderful to work with! She organized everything for the trial and day of; she is very responsive to all questions and made me confident that everything would go perfectly! And it did go perfectly! I can not recommend this team enough! Excellent!

I hired Liz for a family wedding. Her and her team came on site for two events. They were on time and amazing to work with. They were so helpful in tending to what we wanted and needed. They had great quality products and the makeup did not feel heavy at all. Even after sweating up a storm dancing, my face was still in tact! I loved that! They are all so sweet, especially Liz. She was very accommodating during a pandemic and never made me feel bad about the changes I put her through. I was recommended to this team and would recommend them to any bride in the nj ny tristate area. I hope to use their services in the future again!

I loved working with Liz. She was so personable and made me feel really at ease at the wedding and during the trial. She was also really responsive to my notes and feedback and made sure to listen carefully to what I wanted. I highly recommend her and the team she assembles!

Liz and her team did such an amazing job on my hair and makeup for my wedding. From the trials to the big day, the artists gave me the natural makeup look that I was after, and even made my very straight, slippery hair hold a half-up, curled style for the entire evening. My makeup and hair looked just as good at the end of the night as they did during the ceremony!

I feel like I am writing a review for my best friend at this point, because that is essentially what Liz became throughout my entire wedding process. I was looking for someone to do Indian bridal makeup and was having a very difficult time until my friend told me I HAVE to go to Liz Gizelle. Well, all my fellow brides, if you're looking for a makeup artist, you HAVE to go to Liz Gizelle. There is no one better. I was nervous at first because I thought a non-Indian may not be able to do Indian faces that well, but boy did Liz prove me wrong. She has a true talent and she is a true artist with the makeup brush. She made me look like a QUEEN. She was with me all week as I had an American ceremony, an Indian Sangeet night, and a big fat Indian ceremony and reception. She was there from start to finish at 3 AM big freaking smile on her face! We had a group of 24 girls getting makeup, including myself, and Liz and her team KILLED IT! Everyone was ready and looking stunning by 745 AM. All of them were so sweet and accommodating. I don't think I can ever get my face touched by anyone but Liz ever again! She made me feel so calm and special throughout my entire wedding process. She would text and tell me that I better stop stressing about makeup schedules because this is the time to start getting excited and she will handle everything! She constantly reminded me that it was my day and made me feel calm, beautiful, and adored! If you have any doubt in your mind, set up a trial with her ASAP, but I only did a trial for one out of 4 looks and she killed it with every single one! People are still messaging me about how beautiful I looked! Thank you Liz for making me feel the most beautiful I have EVER felt in my life!!!

There are no words that can express how beautiful Liz and Danielle made me feel the day of my wedding, October 13, 2018. They did a such an amazing job and I cannot thank them enough. Jessica did my hair and Sheri did my make-up for my wedding in September. Liz coordinated everything and was so helpful with the contract. Everything turned out perfectly, hair and makeup were exactly how I wanted it! They were fun and accommodating. They made the bridesmaids and I feel so comfortable and had us laughing. I couldn't have asked for anything better! Absolutely highly recommend!

From the day I met Liz Gizelle I absolutely loved her. Her personality lightens up the room. She did my makeup for my wedding on October 8, 2017 and I was more than happy with the results as were my bridesmaids. Her team did my hair and I was in love with their work as well. I reached out to Liz based on a referral from a family friend and her team did not disappoint! They were prompt at my 4:30am wake up call and executed perfectly! Any and all photos my bridal party showed the stylists came to life!

Liz and team did hair, makeup, and saree draping for myself (bride) and 4 other women. Liz is so awesome! Not only is she amazing at doing makeup, she is friendly, funny, and a complete delight to have around on your wedding day. She also brought along Sheri; who did our hair (and we had women with very thick hair, to very fine hair) who did such a beautiful job, and Poonam; who draped sarees on for all of us. I showed pictures of what I wanted to look like, and Sheri and Liz made me look beautiful, but still like myself. I was dancing and sweating, but my makeup stayed perfect throughout the night, and not one strand was out of place. I wouldn't hesitate to book Liz again!

I had the pleasure of working with Liz and her team for my wedding on August 2nd. She was recommended by two of my co-workers, who also used 217 beauty for their weddings, and it was definitely the best decision I made! The way Liz did my makeup was amazing and I am still receiving compliments on how great it looked! She was very flexible and was able to squeeze in my grandma as well, which was last minute. My grandma doesn’t wear makeup very often and she made her look stunning! Also, my mother’s makeup was amazing too! She really outdid herself. I also had to book hair stylists last minute (2 weeks before my wedding) and I called Liz to see if she had anyone available and she was able to accommodate me! This was definitely a HUGE stress relief and I can’t thank her enough. Lastly, the prices for her services are VERY reasonable.
