ng, and ten times harder than we expected. After just 1 quick phone call with Chris, I felt something I hadn’t felt in the entire planning process: peace of mind. In that short conversation, I knew in my heart that we were going to be in good hands, and looking back now, that feeling couldn’t have been more accurate.
Chris is genuinely one of the most down to earth people I’ve ever met. Not only was he our wedding photographer, but he’s now someone I’m grateful to call a friend. He is incredibly detailed, passionate about what he does, kind, caring, and truly one of the most amazing people you could ever have by your side on such an important day.
From the beginning, Chris never once made us feel like anything was uncertain or out of place. He took all of my chaos and replaced it with peace of mind. When it came time for our engagement session, I had never felt more confident or beautiful in my entire life. Wedding planning had been such a stressful experience for us, but during that session it felt like all of that stress disappeared. Chris made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera, which was something I never thought would be possible. Our smiles in those photos are completely genuine, which is easy when you’re around someone who makes the experience so natural and fun.
Before our wedding, Chris sent over a detailed questionnaires for us to fill, then went through everything with us during our final call, making sure nothing was overlooked. On the wedding day, from the moment he arrived at my home to start getting ready pictures, it felt like the stress of the day melted away. I knew we were in the best hands possible.
The same went for our groomsmen with the second photographer—who just so happened to also be named Chris! From everything I heard throughout the day, he brought the same energy, professionalism, and calm presence while working with the boys. He made the entire process easy and natural for them as well.
Having 2 photographers who worked so seamlessly together made such a difference. While one was capturing special moments with me, my bridesmaids and dad, the other was documenting the excitement and fun with the guys. Because of that, nothing was missed, and every part of our day was captured from multiple perspectives.
The rest flowed effortlessly because Chris (and Chris 2) knew exactly where everyone needed to be and when. During family portraits, they managed to wrangle our very large bridal party and family with ease, keeping everything moving quickly and efficiently while still allowing us to enjoy the moment and soak in the joy of the day. At the reception, they captured every important moment—from the big emotional highlights to the little candid moments we didn’t even realize were happening.
And somehow, despite the incredible quality of his work, his turnaround time was unbelievably fast. Both our engagement photos and our wedding gallery were delivered so quickly, and when we saw them we were absolutely blown away. Every single photo tells the story of our day so perfectly. 26 North Studios didn’t just photograph our wedding. They captured the emotions, the memories, and the moments we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

We had a wedding of 50 people and he got everyone in a photo of some kind. He was responsive and flexible. I don't know any other photographer that has the turn around time of Chris. s was beyond 5 stars! He is fun, upbeat, professional and most importantly GETS SHIT DONE. In general, any decent vendor will check all the standard "important" boxes (efficient, responsive, has a nice product etc.) but it's the rockstar vendors that will really make your event. Chris is one of those vendors. He was 5 steps ahead of us at all times and had a way of knowing exactly what shots we’d want before we realized we wanted them. We had our photos back at lightning speed and every single one left us speechless! From angles, to colors to concept Chris knocked it out of the park.
Additionally, our wedding needed an additional shooter. This originally made me nervous as it’d be someone we didn’t meet prior to the event however he also brought his A-game! The two of them didn’t miss a beat and we have a plethora of photos to prove it. Our wedding was amazing and the photos have allowed that amazing energy to live on each time we reminisce.

Chris was incredibly organized and checked in with us multiple times in the year leading up to our wedding so that when it came to the final month we already had a plan and were ready to roll! He was a joy to be around, extremely professional, made sure we got all of the items on our shot list, and did a phenomenal job rolling with all of the (5!) kiddos in our wedding.
