We were thrilled with our decision to hire 27 Entertainment as our DJ for our wedding. Jake Smith was our DJ for the entire event and we loved him. He was really easy to work with and was so willing to do whatever we asked. He fully understood the vibe we requested and interacted well with our guests so well. Matthew also worked with us and he was super helpful as well. Would highly recommend!

Malcolm DJ’ed our wedding and everything was amazing. He truly understood the vibe of our wedding and was actively mixing which was amazing! So many places just hit play and call it a day. Malcolm read the room and hyped us all up and was constantly smiling. He truly lifted up our entire day and contributed to an amazing day!! Our family loved them so much my cousins’s fiancé has hired them for her upcoming wedding this October :)

What can we say about 27 Entertainment except how AWESOME they are!! Matthew is seriously the best! He was so friendly and easy to talk to - even asking how we were feeling leading up to the day. He was always available if we had questions and helped us plan our music - seamlessly. We left most of the night up to him and were thrilled with his picks! The dance floor was huge and it was packed all night! We are still hearing from guests how much fun they had and how great the music was -- some even asking for their info so they can book/pass on to others! They have actually played at 3 family weddings so far (how we heard them to begin with!) and are playing a 4th in 2023 which we cannot wait for! They were so much fun and even added entertainment to the speech at my husbands request. No one ever left the dance floor, we just loved working with them.

If you're thinking about hiring 27 Entertainment, absolutely do it! This was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. Jake and Hunter made our wedding absolutely incredible! We received compliment after compliment on how great our DJs were. Other vendors also told us how amazing Jake and Hunter were to work with that night. From the moment we walked in and met Jake and Hunter, it felt like we were with friends. They did everything possible to make our wedding exactly how we imagined it and they nailed it. From the ceremony music, cocktail hour, dinner music and then to the absolute best dance floor reception we've ever seen - they were perfection! I don't think I could have imagined a better crew!! My wife and I had 27 Entertainment as our MC/DJs for our wedding. The team was super easy to work prior to the big day. They provided us a unique link to their app for our event that let us pick out the exact songs, timeline and provide important details, like wedding party, speeches and how to pronounce names. These little details, along with an excellent equipment setup, including lighting, remote microphones and a separate equipment for our ceremony, which was in another location, blew me away. Once the 'events' were done, our DJs, Nate and Sterling, got everyone out on the dance floor and made sure that all of our must plays flowed with the vibe. Our wedding reception was an absolute blast and I cant thank 27 Entertainment enough. Please make them your first choice for your next event!

27E gave us the best party EVER. My biggest dream for my wedding was to have a non-stop epic dance party. They absolutely made my dream a reality. Almost no one left the dance floor the entire night. I cannot recommend them enough!

I can not speak highly enough about 27 Entertainment. When I say they made sure our guests had fun and the party didn't stop, I mean it. We are still getting compliments from our guests on how awesome the DJs were and let's be real, that's not always something that people compliant you on right? It's important to note that we also moved our wedding up 6 months for personal reasons and the guys did not miss a beat, were willing to work with us for our new date and even drove out to the Chicagoland Suburbs, when we originally booked them for a wedding in Michigan. If you are on the fence with booking them, I'm telling you right now that you NEED them as DJ's. I like to think we have fun friends and family but the night wouldn't have been the same without them. From a bride perspective, they are organized yet laid back and did not make the process stressful in the slightest. We're referring them to all friends and family in Michigan, Indiana and Chicago moving forward!

Absolutely loved how easy it was to work with this company! The DJ was awesome and really got everyone involved in the crowd which was very fun! Definitely go with the up lighting it made all the difference!

Dan from 27 Entertainment did an amazing job DJing our wedding reception! He was helpful with planning beforehand, making timeline suggestions and helping to shape everything to what we wanted. He helped the timing of everything run smoothly and kept the party going. We continue to get compliments about how great the music at our wedding was.

I cannot recommend 27 Entertainment enough, specifically Matt and Mike! Do not hesitate to hire them for your wedding or event! They were able to keep a dance floor crowded the entire night and appeased a crowd ages 16 to 80 years old. There was a great mix of music and they did a great job reading the room. Our wedding guests were so impressed and had never been to a wedding where the dance floor was packed the entire time. Everyone had so much fun and we did not want the night to end! I would also recommend getting the photo booth as well!

Stop the search now! These guys are the best DJs you could ever hope to find! Bryce was super easy to work with and made the party move! He was amazing at stepping up and helping coordinate the day. Everything would not have run as smoothly as it did with out him and his team. Everyone of our guests were in awe of these guys and the dance floor didn't stop moving all night! I cannot thank Bryce and 27 Entertainment enough for being an essential part to our day. It couldn't have been as a big a success as it was without them.

Our #1 priority for our wedding turned anniversary celebration was to get it poppin' on the dance floor. 27E fit the bill! We had scoped them out at an event hosted by our venue and we were sold. Their music selection was on point and they knew exactly what to play to keep our guests grooving (even when my mom would make random requests and they managed to fit them in without killing the vibe!) We had the unique challenge of dealing with rescheduling our wedding due to COVID and Matt, Bryce and the rest of the team were flexible with meeting our needs and easy to communicate with. We would absolutely hire them if we had to do it all over again!

So many complements to Bryce and Dan for killing it at our wedding!!! You brought it! Thank you for keeping everyone on the dance floor until the last moment! 27e did a great job with DJing our wedding! The dance floor was always packed and they were very thoughtful about playing all our requests. They will come out from behind the DJ booth and dance with you. They did our videography as well and the team was great to work with - very respectful of the church and worked great with our photographer. We can’t wait for our video to come back! I bartended a wedding with Matthew as the DJ and he had the party hyped! My coworker and I were commenting on how he was the best DJ we've encountered, and we bartend A LOT of weddings. We first attended a wedding with 27e (and Matthew!) as the DJ in 2018 and it was the best wedding we had ever been to (until ours!). When we got engaged in 2020, we were both determined to have them as our DJ. Throughout the whole process, Matthew and 27e got us HYPED for our party and it did not disappoint. The music from cocktail hour to dinner through the very last song was the most perfect dance party my husband and I could have imagined. Matthew got to know the names of our family and bridal party, danced a little himself, and made the party absolutely EPIC. The best day of our lives!!! Also, their DJ service pricing is extremely reasonable - totally worth every penny!

My husband and I had a beautiful intimate wedding ceremony and reception in July 2020. But when looking back, we were missing something...the party. We had planned a party just to be told to postpone it a whole year. 27 Entertainment understand the situation we were forced into and held on tight for the adventure that was a 1 year postponement. Patrick, my husband, was in charge of picking a DJ. To him flowers, food, venue didn't matter much as long as the music was great. And when our day finally came he chose right, 27 Entertainment did not disappoint. When I say our wedding was a dance party fueled with my favorite songs...that's exactly what it was. The energy this company provides is ridiculous. I danced the night away to songs we selected but mixed by the talented Matt! These guys are the absolute coolest! Every conversation was about making our wedding day extra perfect and special for us. They were great to joke around with. They listened to every request from me and my husband. They love mixing music that isn't typical wedding music so your wedding is more personal to you and memorable for your guests. Would hire them again and again! Recommend to EVERYONE! I couldn't imagine anyone topping them. We worked specifically with Malcom and Tucker, and they are two guys that just get it. You can tell they love their jobs.

Matthew and team emceed and DJ'ed our March pandemic wedding..... and they brought the party! We had a smaller wedding (50 guests) and weren't sure the crowd would be on their feet dancing much, but thanks to Matt the dance floor was busy... All. Night. Long. We also worked with the 27e team for videography for our wedding and can't wait to see the final results. All around, these guys were a breeze to work with, very fun, and were a really important part of making our wedding day so incredible. These guys kept our dance floor packed from beginning to end and put together several BOMB videos that we have gone back to watch time and again and captured our favorite moments of our wedding day so well. My only complaint is that I had a specific playlist I asked them to use for the cocktail hour and dinner time and they didn't stick to it.

The most fun you will EVER have at a wedding!!! These guys blew the doors off our small wedding. We have been to so many weddings and no DJ or band will ever live up to the energy 27E brings. Besides making it an absolute party, they were responsive during the booking and planning process, and even reacted to day of changes and pulled them off flawlessly. We received so many compliments and inquiries to hire them from our friends, many of them said they would fly them across the country for their wedding because they are THAT GOOD. 10/10 recommend booking them!!!

Best DJ ever!! Our reception is still raved about from our guests, everyone had such a fabulous time. I'mma let you finish, but 27 Entertainment is the best DJ of ALL TIME!! This review is long overdue, but I can honestly say our wedding was the epic, beautiful, amazing wedding it was because of 27e! We got married at Journeyman Distillery in Three Oaks, MI back in September 2019, and after researching many DJs I knew right away that 27e was the only option that would give us the wedding of our dreams. Truly – an amazing DJ makes or breaks your reception. And 27e? They will make your reception one for the books! Not only were Matthew and his crew on top of everything (discussing our options, taking on semi-wedding-planner-role during the day/ceremony, and crushing the reception with a perfect blend of fresh and familiar), this team also kept the party going for us at our spontaneous after-party... that's right. After a perfect night of dancing at the venue, Matthew and his team acquiesced to our begging and came back to our Airbnb to throw the most EPIC AFTER-PARTY in the world! Seriously, all of our friends still talk about it...! This was unplanned, but Matthew was so committed to our wedding experience that he set up an entire sound and light experience for all of our guests after the wedding. Talk about white glove service. All in all, wouldn't be the same wedding without 27e. I insist you book 27 Entertainment... it will be the best wedding decision of your life!

27 Entertainment was superb at our wedding! I have never had so many people of all ages come up to me and say that was the best party they’ve ever been to. Dan was a wonderful DJ. He played a range of music that kept all our guests on the dance floor into the night. As dinner was ending the music picked up and got people feeling ready to get on their feet. There were two hype men who kept the energy up when things would moments of slowing down. They had dance offs with the kids and helped get everyone involved. Regardless of where you get married, book these guys for your event, you won’t regret it!

I attended a wedding that Malcolm and Jordan were DJ’ing and knew I needed them to be our Dj for our wedding! They had everyone on the dance floor all night dancing nonstop! Did not have a positive experience with our DJ's from 27. This was a wedding and services should have been about the bride, groom, and their families and guests but DJ was rude and disrespectful. They did not play music that was on bride and grooms "must play" list and played 2 songs that were on their "do not play" list. Mother of groom twice requested they change up the music from rap to other music for the variety of ages at reception and DJ argued with me about having a playlist (his own). Did not play songs that guests requested. DJ used foul language toward member of the wedding party who was requesting music. Played music with f***, not appropriate. DJ cause a great deal of problems when he should have been there to provide the service and music we paid for, not the music he chose to play. Did not mix up genres, did not interact with crowd or gauge the crowd. Very disappointed that service did not live up to the reviews that we saw online.

27e is the best in the business, no question! Matt and Sterling KILLED IT! The compliments keep coming and we were even asked if people were planted throughout the wedding as hype men. Nope they’re just that freaking awesome. I’m telling you they’re the best - one of our friends fired their DJ and hired them after our wedding. We couldn’t have asked for anyone better! Praying that every wedding we go to in the future has you guys #27entertainmentgroupies We also had Dakota and Ryan do our video and it gives you allllll the feels. They did such a great job at capturing our day and now we get to relive it over and over. Everyone we worked with was so pumped up and genuinely nice which surprisingly was an in common experience in wedding planning. Thank you 27e for being the best ever!

We were lucky enough to have an entire crew of the guys at our wedding and it was truly the most amazing experience ever. We used 27 Entertainment for videography as well as DJ and they were amazing!! We had heard great things from a ton of people but they were above and beyond and we had so many comments from our guests stating how amazing the DJ was. A friend getting married in a few weeks asked what our playlist was and we didn’t even have one! We just told Matt and his crew that we wanted a big party and we trusted them and they more than delivered! Not to mention our preview video following our wedding, seriously like a movie, couldn’t believe it was us in that amazing of a video! Can’t recommend them enough!

Just wow! These guys were our videographers and DJs and I’ll tell you first off, I’ve never been to a bigger party of a reception in my life. My husband and I left to take pictures at sunset and we came back to a jam packed dance floor! It was amazing! If you want a party, these are your people. All kinds of music to keep everyone dancing! Second, we just recently got our video back and I’ve cried every time I watch it (yes, it’s so good we’ve watched it multiple times in the short time we’ve been married). It’s like a movie trailer and it has me wanting more! Already recommended them to multiple friends who are getting married! No doubt, they’re the best.

Our DJ, MC Dan and percussionist were one of the highlights of the evening. Having a percussionist may have been one of the best decisions I made as it gave such a fun live element to enhance the songs the DJ was playing. MC Dan is the man, he knows when he is needed to get people on the dance floor and is so funny and super responsive with questions. My dance floor was packed allll night long and people keep messaging me to tell me how great the music was. loved loved loved them, book them yesterday!!

HANDS DOWN BEST DJ EVER! We were lucky enough to book 27 Entertainment as our dj and videographer and I couldn’t be happier with our decision. They were on top of everything! From timelines, genres of music and endless suggestions when we were unsure. They arrived on time and were so energetic. I cannot even count how many times we were complimented on our choice of dj. Absolutely the best night ever, thanks to 27e! They provided up lights and dj services at the reception, as well as videography. They were very professional and prompt. I’m not a huge dancer, but I’m glad that the most I’ve ever danced in my life was on our wedding night. Wade was easy to communicate with, and made great music suggestions. There was a nice mix of Greek and current hits, as well as some requests the night of. He did a great job of keeping the energy up and there were always people on the dance floor. I loved seeing our video trailer. They were prompt in creating it, given the several hours of material they needed to go through. I cannot believe how lucky we got with 27e. Malcolm and Dan were excellent to work with from the start. They kept the energy up and people on the dance floor ALL night. My wife and I are both music nerds and Malcolm and Dan were able to perfectly balance the songs we wanted played with music the whole wedding knew. We received countless requests of how we found our DJs and many compliments on both the energy and music played. My favorite compliment was my cousin saying "I want that DJ (Malcolm) to come to my son's baseball games as a hypeman! He could make anything exciting!" I found 27 entertainment on the knot app and decided to do some research about their company. When their website came up I was blown away by how beautiful it looked! I originally went in with the idea that my husband and I just wanted to book them for videography. When we went in for our consultation we had the pleasure of meeting with Matthew. Here’s the thing, I know if I want to work with someone from the moment I meet them, and by how we are greeted...and let me tell you, he was so refreshing and personable that within the first five minutes it wasn’t even a thought that I was going to look any further. I am so happy that they group both videography and dj together because I wouldn’t have had it any other way. He was in contact with Mike and I as much or as little as we wanted. Matthew really let me be apart of picking music for the ceremony and being able to create a really romantic vibe for that portion. He MCed to absolute perfection and when the party was in full swing Sterling, Nick, and Matthew were legends on the dance floor!!! It was AMAZING!! Now videography is a whole other level of artistic creativity. Shane and John are THE sweetest men ever. They we so good at direction and keeping everything natural. If you are a person that gets a little awkward behind the camera like myself you will love working with 27. They keep you feeling comfortable and normal. They captured our wedding into a fairytale story. I am so happy we will have it forever. It means the world to my husband and I that we can watch it whenever and remember how perfect everything actually was! I have to say I am so happy with everything that I will FOREVER recommend them to any future bride!! It’s bittersweet, we were sad when our wedding was over and we were no longer going to be able to work with them! They really did become part of our wedding vendor family!! Most of all, we truly felt a connection with Matthew and that he and his team listened to our needs, and valued our day as much as we did. A moment we will never forget is when Matthew gathered the bridal party before announcing everyone into the reception. He hyped us all up like crazy, and from that moment on it was an awesome party with the best energy all night long. They handled event flow, logistics, and last minute adjustments with calmness and constantly read the room just right, that everyone loved the music. They played enough of the songs that we and/or guests had requested to satisfy that need, but more importantly kept the energy up and fed off of the crowd rather than playing endless slow songs. We trusted these guys to use their best judgment, which they did. And, they danced their butts off with us and our guests! We only wish we had both gotten more time on the dance floor with everyone! malcom and nick were the djs for my wedding and they kept the party going! if you want to have the very best time at your event you NEED to hire them - they will not disappoint!!! I cannot thank them enough for the energy, positivity, and professionalism they brought to my wedding! I also had videography done by 27 entertainment and let me tell you those guys know what's up - it can be awkward being filmed but they made the process almost natural!!
