She adapted extremely well, though, and helped us through, even giving us advice on which way to change the ceremony that would look best picture-wise. She asked where we would want to be photographed and gave additional ideas on fun locations. In the meeting before our wedding, she wanted names of everyone important in our families and we made a game plan to move swiftly through our large group shots and limited time. it was hard to look at anyone elses. I live in Iowa so it made more since to choose a photographer from Iowa rather than South Dakota but I just couldn't do it.....nothing else compared. We traveled to South Dakota to have our engagement pictures taken and met Jessica for the first time she made us feel very comfortable and our engagement pictures were amazing! She then came to Iowa when it was time for our wedding and she did not miss one detail about the wedding and the reception. Every single picture is perfect! There is no other photographer I would ever recomend she is soooo wonderful! Also I was nervous about doing the "first look" before the ceremony and Jessica answered all of my questions and helped me decide on whether we should do it or not. Anytime I had questions or emailed her her responses were very quick and helpful! If you are looking for a photographer and you are near or far away Jessica is the one I would say to get you will not be dissapointed and she is worth every penny! The pictures are the most important part of the entire day.....it is what will keep your memories going so if you want someone who can capture every part of that day perfectly 283 Photography is the way to go!!!!

e so to have such great pictures to look back on has been a great joy. It amazes me that she caught some very special moments that she only had a couple seconds to capture...she was so aware of what to capture and we did not even know she was at the wedding..she did such a great job of being invisiable but got done what we needed. On our wedding day she definitely helped me stay calm as things were running a little late, she told me not to worry. She truly has a passion and an incredible talent for what she does. She never seemed pushy throughout the day and was open to any ideas we had. Jessica captured the moments and details to tell the whole story of our day. She also had such creative ideas on how to capture the little details such as rings, flowers, etc. Also I loved her not wanting posed looks, in ALL of our pictures I can see everyones own personality and they all seem so relaxed! We never noticed her during the ceremony or at the reception, she blended in and did not need to be in our face at all that day. In going through all 900+ of our wedding photos my husband and I relived our big day and noticed details that we had missed. She also captured hundreds of different expressions from not only the bride and groom but wedding party, family members and the guests. 283 photography is AMAZING! We LOVED having her and thankful for all she did for us on our wedding day!

It did take almost 7 weeks to get all of the pictures back (which was just a little longer than she first told us) but Jessica was great about keeping us updated (called and e-mailed) and it was totally worth the wait! You could tell she really took time and care with each photo. Jessica is amazingly talented, so sweet and genuine, and we couldn't have picked a better photographer to capture our wedding day :)
