One of my biggest focuses while wedding planning was that no one would feel like they couldn't be on the dance floor. Thanks to 2Bays, our dance floor was packed the entire night! They were super easy to contact ahead of time, and all of the songs played were ones we requested (that our guests shared with us before). I had so many compliments afterwards about how the music rocked and that it was one of the busiest dance floors that many of my guests have seen. I definitely would recommend to anyone getting married in Michigan!!

Brian helped us get started and was extremely quick to set up time to meet with us, answer any questions, and showed care for us as the bride and groom right off the bat. They were so easy to work with and get the contract set up, and very professional during all of it. They have forms that you fill out and describe your timelines, express your desired songs to play at certain moments, your no-plays, and so on. This was so helpful and showed how much they care about honoring your wishes during the big day. Hunter was our designated DJ and did such a great job bringing fun to the dancefloor in an effortless way! He was thoughtful in meeting with us the week before the wedding and asked detailed questions to get to know our desires as a couple, which meant a lot. You are in great hands with 2Bays!

Our DJ came recommended by one of my dear friends and I already had a connection with him as well. They were super easy to work with through the entire planning process. Great communication and their website was very easy to navigate when I was entering in our music list. There wasn't a single glitch on our big day. The music was amazing!! Everyone said the selection was awesome! We never left the dance floor. Dan was quick to respond when I needed a polka played due to some family leaving. Dan was amazing and very professional! Absolutely outstanding company to work with and they make things so easy and so fun! We had Brian and he was so professional and so helpful throughout the whole process. Our wedding was outdoors in late October and had a couple of different options for dancing locations(either outdoor or indoor). Initially the plan was to dance outside but we were told the day before our wedding that dancing would be moved inside due to how cold it was and Brian handled it with ease and gave me the assurance it would be no problem! Everything went so well; the ceremony music and voice volume was great, the cocktail hour and dinner playlists were amazing(we ended up going with his suggestions while adding a couple of artists we like into the mix) and the dance floor was packed all night! We got a lot of compliments from our guests about how good the DJ was and we couldn’t agree more. Our wedding was absolutely perfect and Brian and 2BaysDJs were a major part of it! First off... Brian at 2Bays DJs was absolutely INCREDIBLE for our wedding in June! I won't lie, 2Bays DJs was not the first DJ that I reached out to for our wedding but I am SO thankful that the other options that I was looking at didn't work out. Brian and his assistant Chase KILLED it with the audio and visuals at our wedding. My husband and I's music style includes a lot of pop, EDM, disco, etc. and we'd shared this in advance with Brian and had shared an EXTENSIVE playlist with him to demonstrate our 'vibe'. First of all, the microphones and the tech systems were top notch. I'm not going to try to get into the technical lingo but they were decked out and ready to make sure that the sound systems and the speeches would be heard throughout our VERY large tent. Microphones and sound were perfect quality and super smooth. The introductions that Brian did were super professional and fun. He might as well have been a member of the wedding party it was so smooth. We also had 2Bays bring cold sparks to fire off during key moments of the night. Perfectly timed and such a cool effect! Then... the music. I was blown away. Brian took our vibe and made into something so unique and it got the party STARTED. Literally nobody left the dance floor once the music started. It was PACKED. Guests even missed our chef attended banana's foster station because they were too busy partying on the dance floor. It was the BEST DJ set I've ever heard (and I've been to a lot of clubs). Our guests have continued to rave about the music and our DJ months later! Music is one of those things that can make or break the party vibe at a wedding and Brian's set literally brought the ENTIRE party. & when I say that I mean, shirts coming off on the dance floor, drinks spilling, sweaty dancing, and scream singing kind of party. My husband and I cannot say enough good things about Brian, Chase, and 2Bays DJs. There really is no question... if you're having a wedding in Northern Michigan you need to hire these guys. They will listen to your vibe, catch it, and turn it into something truly amazing that you and your guests will love and will get people MOVING! I cannot rave enough about the amazing job 2 Bays DJs (Scott and Tyler specifically) did at our wedding! We had a lakeside ceremony at a primitive site, they brought all the audio equipment so our guests could hear everything over the lake waves. When we went to the formal ballroom dance floor for our reception, they kept the dance floor hopping all night long. They even managed to keep our 20/30 somethings well entertained while also keeping it clean for the 14 and under kids. Service was very professional and price reasonable. I did not have to worry about a thing from the DJ perspective---which was amazing! 10/10 brides would reccommend. Again, I cannot say enough. Gold stars and glowing reviews all around!

Hiring 2Bays DJs for our wedding was the best decision we could have made! We worked with Brian for all the planning process and he was also our DJ the day of. The ceremony was perfect and the dance floor was packed ALL night long. We had several guests tell us our DJ was the best they have heard. I know they are not the cheapest DJ in the area but they are 100% worth it, I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

Both were so easy and lovely to communicate with and Tyler did such an amazing job the day of!! They set up the speaker and microphone and played music for the ceremony. For the reception Tyler was our MC and DJ - he did a perfect job! The music he played got everyone on the dance floor and it was the most fun night!! We knew they would provide us with the epic dance party we wanted but we didn't expect them to be so willing to help out. They were kind enough to help our coordinator relocate some floral arrangements which we so appreciate! They provided ceremony music for us and hit all the marks during our ceremony. Cocktail hour and dinner music was perfect to set the vibes we hoped for. They also helped us execute an amazing anniversary dance to celebrate our guests as well. We were blown away by the mixes during the reception, our guests could not stop raving about it! I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

I cannot recommend 2Bays DJs enough! If you are looking for a DJ service for your wedding, 2Bays DJs is the best of the best! Our DJ was Brian who was not only an amazing DJ and MC, but his attention to detail, calm demeanor, and control of the room was absolutely unmatched. He went above and beyond so many times to make sure everything went smoothly for us. Brian was so helpful prior to our wedding meeting with us in person, emailing back and forth, phone calls, etc. If their was something he could do to help, he did it without question! He even made time to have a conversation prior o to the day with my cousin who was the violist to make sure she had everything she needed. So many of our family members said they've never seen a dance floor packed like that the entire night! I couldn't be happier with the service provided by 2Bays DJs!

They were professional and thorough, and their online platform was easy to work with and allowed us to specify in detail our music preferences. I was really worried about sound during our outdoor ceremony near the water and the guests not being able to hear us well - it turned out ok, but not great. We also had an issue with sound when the DJ was on the patio/dance floor making announcements during the wedding reception/dinner - there was a technical issue and the guests could not hear the announcements (i.e. dessert, time to head out to the dance floor, etc.). These are the only reasons my review isn't a 5 star.

We used their services for the wedding reception as well as the silent disco after party and it was an absolute dream. They were able to make some serious last minute adjustments out of the goodness of their hearts to make our wedding even more special than I could have imagined. I’m forever indebted to their team for making our wedding a perfect day. Our friends want to plan a Northern Michigan trip together JUST to go back and do another silent disco with them! Personally, I think music is a super important part of anyone's wedding day, which is why we chose 2 Bays - Every single vendor we asked would immediately comment '2 Bays is the best.' It made our decision easy. Brian did an amazing job DJing our wedding. We had so many of our guests comment how much they loved the music and people were on the dance floor all night! He's also super professional and did a great job with the flow of the night, introducing our wedding party, timing the bouquet toss, announcing first dances, etc. I would definitely recommend booking 2 Bays for your wedding!!!

Music is extremely important to us and was a pivotal part of our wedding day. 2Bays DJs exceeded our expectations. The planning process was straightforward and both Brian and Roger (our DJ for the wedding) were extremely helpful and communicative with us and our wonderful planner (Conradie Event Design). We absolutely loved having 2BaysDJs on our wedding day! We had Dan Kenney who did an AWESOME job! He called me the day before as our bridal entrances were a little unique and required different songs for each couple. He nailed it and we all had so much fun! He told me what to expect for the night as far as how our guests would be going on and off the dance floor, and I am so thankful he did! He played a great variety and the remixes he played were a lot of fun to dance to as well! The planning sheets before were great to use too, as they really listened to everything we said/requested!

2Bays is AMAZING. If you are considering any other DJ, don't. I have been to a hundred weddings and can easily say Brian was the best DJ I've ever heard (and not just because it was my wedding). He took my playlists as inspiration and truly catered the vibe of our wedding to us. In fact, Brian was so good that our friends paid him to stay later, and they are still talking about how fun and cool he was. It felt like one of our friends was the DJ! 2Bays also comes prepared with any and all equipment you need and knows exactly how to read a room, everything ran on time and just as we planned. We could not have been happier - this is a must book!!

Okay, I'm incredibly particular about music & playlists (I'm the "friend who makes the playlist" of my friend groups) and Brian from 2Bays DJs absolutely killed it. Hands down the best wedding DJ of all the weddings we've been to, and all our guests said so too! The dance floor was literally never empty for a 4-hour reception. He was also incredibly flexible — I wanted my brother to emcee for a personal touch, which is an unusual request, and Brian took this in stride and worked with my brother all night to coordinate announcements. I also sent him a mile-long "do not play" list which he completely respected, as well as various "vibes" playlists of suggested music for pre-ceremony and cocktail hour, and he took these and riffed on them in such a fabulous way. He was also just incredibly kind and understanding, and a calming presence when we had various unforeseen timeline changes day-of. One of my favorite memories from my wedding is going over with my now-husband to the DJ booth at the end of the reception to thank Brian and give him a huge hug! Cannot recommend 2Bays, and Brian specifically, enough. (Lastly: Incredibly reasonably priced given the impact he had on our day. Few of your vendors will be there from pre-ceremony all the way through to end of reception (8+ hours), but Brian was one of them and still one of our less expensive vendors!)

Dan and 2Bays were amazing. I had many friends come up to me during the wedding and say things like, "this DJ is unreal," "best wedding DJ ever," "the DJ is fire!" A big part of this is because Dan is so great, but also because he spent a ton of time understanding our music tastes and the vibe we were looking to create. Then he channeled that into an awesome dance party. Just as importantly, he made sure the sound for our ceremony was impeccable while deftly navigating the demands of a less-than-traditional ceremony that included multiple musicians, officiants, and speakers. Dan and his team also paid attention during various parts of the wedding where other DJs might be on autopilot. For example, a song was mentioned during a speech that he ended up playing, which then turned into an impromptu karaoke session -- and one of the best moments of the whole wedding. Last but not least, we concluded our reception with a silent disco after party, which was an absolute highlight and something I recommend all couples do if they can fit it into the budget.

2bays were easy and fun to work with! They are professional, quick to respond, and on top of it. Their DJs are awesome and each have their own personality that comes out in their work. We had the pleasure of working with both Roger and Scott for our wedding and silent disco and were so impressed by both of them! They absolutely followed our specific tastes and special requests while still adding their own great vibes. They set the mood and made sure we danced the night away! It's also worth noting they spent the entire day with us - over 12 hours! This is why we were awarded two DJs for covering music from our ceremony through our cocktail hour, dinner, reception, and silent disco after party. If you have the chance to do a silent disco, we'd HIGHLY recommend it. It was so much fun and was an amazing way to end our magical weekend. This was the highlight of the wedding that all of our guests couldn't say enough about (young and old!)! Scott crushed it on the music for it and the lighting they set us up with for the forest was otherworldly. We look forward to hosting another silent disco party for an anniversary in the future!

I was in charge of choosing the DJ for my brother's wedding and I am so glad I chose 2BaysDJs. From the beginning they were very easy to work with, very communicative, and extremely organized. The client portal on their website was easy to use and such a good idea as it helped inform them of the wedding day timeline. Brian was our DJ and he did an outstanding job. Honestly, the best DJ I've ever seen at a wedding. He was very helpful throughout the whole wedding day and mixed songs as if we were in a club. This is not the cheapest DJ in the area, but I'm telling you to 100% splurge for it and you won't be disappointed. They turned our wedding into an absolutely party. The transitions between songs were fun and well executed. They did a great job reading the dance floor for what song to play next to get people out on the floor. We had at least 10 people come up to us during the reception asking who the DJ was and commenting it was the best wedding DJ they've experienced (and our friends go to a ton of weddings =)!)

Dan with 2bays was amazing! We chatted leading up to the wedding to discuss our music taste and overall vision of our wedding. I told him we wanted a fun dance party and he nailed it. I had guests texting me the next day saying it was the best wedding they had been to and the DJ kept the party going. We were so lucky to have him! We had one request from 2Bays, and that was to bring Miami to Michigan, and boy did they deliver! Booking a DJ was one of our first priorities for our wedding, since we thought we had a pretty tall order being a bi-ethnic wedding and we needed to get both the Michiganders and the Latinos on the dance floor. Hunter was able to mix both English and Spanish hits seamlessly in a way that kept everyone grooving. From current to classics, Billy Joel to Bad Bunny, and everything in between, it was a night to remember for both sides of the family. In addition to bringing the party, they also were able to help us orchestrate our ceremony exactly as we envisioned and provided all the equipment necessary, as well as helping us keep to our timeline by directing our guests through the events of our wedding, ushering them to cocktail hour, dinner service, the sparkler exit, etc. There's two things people remember from a wedding: the food and the music, so if music is a priority to you, 2Bays DJs is well and beyond worth it!

Our DJ was excellent! After filling out a very detailed list for him, he called and emailed me for clarifications and suggestions. Also very helpful with special requests and so professional! We needed two spots with microphones and speakers for the wedding and tent plus a whole set up for dancing in a different spot in the venue. When attending other weddings I have been disappointed when you couldn’t hear during the wedding and the toasts or the music was so loud you couldn’t talk, but everything was perfect for us. Look no further for another DJ company. Brian from 2Bays DJS was by far the greatest asset to our entire wedding night. Not only did he do a spectacular job of MCing the entire ceremony and reception, he successful managed to keep the dance floor packed the entire night. The one thing I probably stressed the most about for our wedding was the quality of the music and making sure the dance floor was rocking at all times. Let me just say, Brian at 2Bays DJs was AMAZING. The energy of the dance floor was probably one of the best out of any wedding I've been to. Brian does a great job of not just playing songs, but actually curating and mixing music to keep the energy and vibe going. On top of that, he did a great job with our ceremony sound needs and was super great to work with before hand as well!

Our DJ, Kristen was awesome! Our guests had so much fun and literally everyone was out on the dancefloor I think we could have stayed there all night if we could have. I also loved that they had an online portal where you can make note of your music style and what you want and don't want played they made it super easy, that was something I was stressed about and they helped me through selecting specific music for every part of the night! Absolutely perfect experience on our wedding day. We purchased the theatrical lighting package, and had Brian DJ the ceremony and reception. He was PHENOMENAL. We all know that the DJ can make or break your wedding. If you’re looking for a personable, easy-going, incredible DJ, look no further! Never in a million years could I have asked for a better experience. Hunter was obviously flawless at being a DJ but he was also so good at understanding our expectations. The whole planning process was easygoing - which was really appreciated as it can get stressful as the wedding closes in. Not only was he organized but he was also incredibly personable, and not just to us (bride and groom), but to all of our guests as well! Even those that may have had a bit too much to drink. The music choices were phenomenal and had everyone out on the dance floor (even the parents! That is hugely impressive for our families!). Holy moly - what can I say? 2BaysDJs DELIVERED for our wedding. We worked with Brian all the way up until the wedding who was very responsive and helpful. Isaiah and Scott DJed the actual wedding and they were truly amazing. Everything went perfectly and they hosted a Silent Disco for us which my husband and I had been dying to do ever since we did one on a cruise ship. The guests were obsessed and we got so many compliments that it was the best/most fun wedding they'd ever been to. Because the headsets glow, there was a moment in the night where we opened the barn doors and danced under the stars and the moonlight and they played "Dancing in the Moonlight" on one of the stations and it was a magical moment. THANK YOU for making our day so perfect and so much fun.

A👏🏼ma👏🏼zing 10/10 incredible night thanks in part to Dan of 2Bays. If you are considering 2Bays, do not hesitate to book them! From planning in the weeks leading up to the big day to execution the day-of, everything was so easy and Dan was helpful in answering our questions. We asked for a high energy dance party and he delivered - even as it down-poured and we danced in the rain! Many of our guests commented that they had the most fun of any wedding they’ve ever been to - and we have to agree! Thank you again Dan!!

I have had several people reach out to me since our wedding six days ago to ask for our playlist from our wedding and our DJ information. 2Bays did an amazing job! They made the night wonderful, fun, and kept the crowd dancing by reading the room. Everyone had a blast. Leading up to the big day, communication with 2Bays was exceptional - they answered all questions and were very accommodating when we decided to postpone our wedding due to COVID. If you are still looking for a DJ for you wedding, I highly recommend hiring 2Bays DJs! Dan Kenny from 2Bays DJs was the awesome DJ at our wedding at Aurora Cellars on 8-1-2020! The best part about 2Bays is that they let you choose whatever music you want and you can pick every song from the start to the end of your wedding. We created specific playlists for every part of our wedding (ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, dancing) and he played everything we asked for! 2Bays did such a great job playing music seamlessly at our wedding from start to finish and every transition in between. 2Bays provided us with everything we needed and more! I was very happy that they provided us with clip on microphones for our ceremony and larger microphones for the speeches so that our guests could hear us. Dan brought his own DJ booth, sound system and lights for our dance tent. Dan did such a great job announcing all the main events during our wedding such as gathering for the ceremony, the start of cocktail hour, the bridal party entrance at the start of the reception, the first dances, the cake cutting, the bouquet toss, the garter toss, and the last song of the night. Everyone enjoyed the music and had such a good time dancing. Dan definitely kept the party going all night long! We feel so fortunate to have had Dan as our DJ, he added so much energy and happiness to our wedding day!

We went with 2Bays DJs because they were recommended by everyone and now I know why! We had Dan DJ our wedding and he did an outstanding job! He knew exactly what we wanted, didn't play anything we didn't want, and played everything we did! He was so nice and professional, the whole company is amazing and great at responding to emails. We could not have been happier with 2Bays DJs and Brian who was our DJ at our wedding in September 2020. We originally postponed our wedding from June to September due to COVID and 2Bays was supportive and flexible through the entire process. There are various online forms and song lists that really helped Brian understand how we wanted our wedding to flow and he nailed all of the details! He were even able to have a perfect sound setup at our ceremony location without any power supply. Additionally, Brian was super friendly, and we felt comfortable with him immediately, which is very important to us! Guests raved about Brian and commented that all the songs were great, which really meant a lot to us as well! We were so happy with everything and would recommend 2Bays DJs hands down!

Scott was our DJ and he was awesome! We had to postpone our wedding and then ended up canceling the big wedding and replacing it with a much smaller event. 2Bays was really understanding & cooperative and offered a 'to-go' option for us where they were there for the ceremony, cocktails & first dance/cake cutting, but then left us with a playlist for dinner & the rest of the reception. It worked out perfectly for our small group and the playlist was awesome!

Brian was our DJ - he was great! 2Bays DJs provided us access to a portal to upload songs to “love it”, “like it” and “do not play it” playlists. This was a great way for us to show the DJ what songs we like or didn’t like, so they had an idea of the vibe we wanted at our wedding. Brian did not disappoint. He took the songs we loved, added in other requests from the crowd, and used his own expertise to choose songs to keep the dance floor occupied all night long! He was very professional and responsive. Highly recommend.

We had Scott DJ our wedding at Boyne Highlands and he was amazing! Our wedding was August 2020 and thanks to Scott we were still able to have a great dance party, masks & all! He did the ceremony and reception, and the music selection was on point for the entire evening. We got so many compliments from our guests about the music! Communication was great throughout the planning process, and they were accommodating when we had to move our wedding date from June to August. We are so happy with our decision to book 2Bay's DJs, & we definitely recommend them if you are looking to get your guests out on the dance floor!

2Bays DJs was outstanding! Brian was our DJ for our wedding (June 2019) and he was not only great to work with, he had the perfect playlist according to our tastes. We, honestly, probably weren't the ideal customers as we didn't necessarily have a lot of direction of guidance for him in advance -- didn't even pick our first dance song until two days before. But Brian was able to pick up on our tastes and style after a quick call. The reception was so much fun. We are also grateful because 2Bays supplied the wireless microphone for our officiant. Thank you, Brian and 2Bays DJs! You definitely made our wedding day fun and memorable.

2Bays DJs (Kevin) did a great job at our wedding. He went over all my questions ahead of time, and came early to set up everything at our outside lakeside property. We had a torrential rain storm right at the time the ceremony was starting. Kevin made sure that that didn't make any difference in our wedding ceremony and then for the reception that followed. Everyone was very happy with the flow of music during the ceremony and then at the reception. Kevin was very accommodating to requests as well. Kevin was very professional and nicely dressed. We had a great time and will have great memories forever. The rain made it all more memorable. I would highly recommend 2Bays DJs,
