Aimee brought our dream wedding to life from the other side of the country! She created the perfect destination wedding in wine country for us and our friends and family. The whole weekend was everything and more, down to Sunday brunch with a croquette pro! I could not have asked for better!

Aimee was an indespensable part of making our wedding happen and becoming what I envisioned. My fiancé and I were extremely busy and needed someone to take over planning and guide us in the right direction. Aimee is not going to push you over budget, and she will create the wedding you want with your budget and vision in mind at all times. I can’t tell you how many mistakes I would have made without her guidance and direction! She thinks of everything. I don’t care how detail oriented you are, there are going to be things that go wrong on your wedding day that nobody could have foreseen (like unexpected guests, or a sudden change in the weather) , and you’re going to want someone with the experience, adaptability, and calm under pressure presence that Aimee has. She took care of things and didn’t need to involve me in the small dramas, and I can’t say enough great things about her! If I ever get married again, she will be planning it. (Kidding! Lol) thank you Aimee!

Aimee was professional throughout our entire planning process and wedding day. She was quick to respond and provide help with unforeseen issues such as our rental car being stolen (with everything in it less than 2 days before the wedding) and hiring a new officiant on our rehearsal night. She made sure that every detail was perfect and allowed us to spend our time celebrating with our family. I highly recommend Aimee and her team.

Aimee and her team were incredibly helpful with our wedding planning and coordinating. I like event planning, so I opted for the month of package because I knew I would want to be involved in planning our wedding, but also wanted to relax the month before our wedding and not have so much on my plate. All that to say, Aimee and her team were more than I could have asked for. I was shocked with their attention to detail, I never thought somebody could execute "me" better than I could, haha. The way that her team prepared allowed me to relax on the day of the wedding and know that everything would be taken care of. I would 100% choose 2chic events again and I would recommend them to anybody, especially if you're planning a destination wedding like we were.

We hired Aimee at 2Chic Events & Design and asked her to help us plan our perfect wedding day in two months. She got us and our wedding desires from moment one. When we explained how little tradition we wanted and how we wanted our day to feel, she quickly coined our wedding as "a dinner party where you get married" and she couldn't have been more correct. And she executed. It was a perfect dinner party where we happened to have also gotten married. We didn't have to sacrifice on a single thing and that's because of Aimee's attention to detail and her connections. She led us to other vendors that were as amazing as she is and everything came together so perfectly. Aimee has a very calm manner, really helps lead you in the right direction on choices without being too opinionated. I know for certain out wedding would not have been nearly as beautiful, fun or as well organized without and her team. So grateful for everything she did and on such a short timeline. It was so great working with her and although I hope I never have to plan another wedding (for myself)...I would hire her if I did or for any other big event we were hosting. I never write negative reviews but feel I have to in order to help future brides. We hired Aimee as our month of planner and day of coordinator for our Lake Tahoe wedding last weekend and I was very disappointed. Wedding planners are supposed to help take some of the work off your plate, make you and your family feel relaxed, and make sure the bride and groom are happy at all times! We didn’t get any of that! Aimee created double work for me in the weeks leading up to the wedding because she misplaced documents or didn’t listen to previous conversations we had. Our rehearsal went horrible because she just stood there and didn’t give clear directions with the bridal party. Everyone thought she was very vague and brief. On my wedding day, she was no where to be found when I needed her help after she said she was going to do something and didn’t. She made my parents do the clean up work after she told me she would do it and all she needed was the keys to my parents car and she would put any saved items into their car. Our parents were very upset to end the night dealing with this. Our wedding was beautiful and the only thorn was our wedding planner!

Aimee helped coordinate my wedding, and I'm SO glad she was there to deal with all the details. We had an outdoor altar that had tons of tiny accessories and parts, and she set it up gorgeously in just two hours. I don't know how she remembers so many things at once, but I was throwing things at her left and right, telling here where this and that goes, and she pulled it all off! She was calm amidst all the details, which made me feel calm too. You can tell she's experienced and I felt like she easily understood what look I was going for. Aimee Wendell is in all honesty the best. We had originally hired her for purely design purposes. However, once we started working with her, we came to realize how valuable her planning was. She completely turned our big day into a dream. Thank you to Aimee and your team. We can't thank you enough for all the hard work you put in.

My husband and I definitely lucked out being able to work with Aimee for our wedding in October 2016. We had booked the partial planning service but I feel like she helped with a large amount of the planning, which was such a plus on my part. She loves what she does and it helps to work with someone that doesn't make it seem like you're forcing them to do something. I could go on and on about how great she is, but I will just highlight one moment that she saved me during the planning process. I was extra stressed with some of the vendors and our venue had changed to a new venue coordinator, who was difficult to work with. Aimee offered to communicate to the venue coordinator on my part so that our requests were acknowledge in a timely-manner. Aimee was on our side every time we met with the venue coordinator because I felt so uncomfortable working with the new one. On the day of our wedding, Aimee and her team were awesome in putting the little details together and keeping it stress-free so we can focus on the celebration! We are still in contact with her even after almost 3 months after our wedding, which is another reason why I think she goes above and beyond being a Wedding Planner. I would definitely recommend Aimee and 2Chic Events for your wedding planning and design services!

I was extremely fortunate that Aimee was available to help plan a somewhat last-minute destination wedding in Lake Tahoe! I had 2 months to organize what was was supposed to be a wedding with a few dozen people, but which quickly turned into well over 100 people. Aimee to the rescue! She was amazing at referring me to local vendors and helping me prioritize tasks. I was very impressed by her responsiveness, professionalism, attention to detail, and ability to take care of unexpected issues (even those that I didn't know at the time were occurring). Although I had chosen the wedding venue site and Aimee independently, the staff at the site knew her well and it was clear that they love working with her because of her expertise--and because she is a lovely person! Even our DJ, whom we hired just a couple weeks before the wedding date, said, "Oh, Aimee is your wedding coordinator? You have nothing to worry about then!" On the day of, she must have been at 3 places at once to make sure everything ran smoothly. Aimee is a sweet and kind person who clearly loves what she does and made me feel absolutely special (and calm) on the big day. I cannot recommend Aimee highly enough!

I cannot say enough positive things about Aimee - we booked her for our wedding rather far in advance, and I never felt neglected or like she wasn't completely invested in every detail, even when we were over a year out! I have literally no design sensibility, and I have to keep telling every one of our guests that the beautiful event they enjoyed had everything to do with our amazing planner! Add her attention to detail, sense of humor, and overall awesome communication skills to the fact that she supplied us with wine and good company throughout all our meetings, and you have one happy bride and groom. We love you Aimee! :)

Working with 2Chic Events was one of the worst experiences of our lives and nearly ruined our entire wedding. Our initial meeting with Aimee Wendell from 2Chic Events was on 1/28/12 and during this meeting she suggested Cabo for a wedding location. We loved the idea and Aimee assured us she had extensive experience in Cabo and would be qualified to plan a wedding there. Aimee was responsible for assisting us in booking a venue but the venues she provided either did not match our budget, or did not match the few requirements we had. Aimee had emphasized her familiarity with Cabo, yet the venues seemed very limited. We began to doubt how well she knew Cabo and ended up doing the venue search on our own. Once we chose the venues, we asked her to follow-up for additional information. Aimee was travelling to Cabo on vacation and told us we should travel there during her stay so we could look at venues in person. During the trip, Aimee did not know about the existence of major landmarks in Cabo. She had offered to drive us to the site visits then decided the day before, she did not feel comfortable driving in Cabo. During the site visits Aimee did not ask many questions and seemed disengaged. We were greatly disappointed by her behavior as we thought she would be leading the negotiations and obtaining the required information. Aimee was also supposed to provide a wedding budget and track expenses to that budget. Although she did provide an initial budget 2 months after signing the contract, it did not include items we told her we would be financially responsible for. We repeatedly asked for a more detailed budget that included the venue costs and additional items we requested. Unfortunately we never received this. When we finally found our venue, Aimee informed us she was not able to connect with the venue manager to follow up on our questions and obtain the contract. After over 3 weeks we were in danger of losing our date, we still did not have the contract or the detailed budget we had been asking for, and we concluded we needed to end our relationship with 2Chic Events in the best interest of our wedding. After 6 months of working with 2Chic Events, the only completed item was the booking of our photographer. The breakdown in trust made it impossible for us to continue working with her, especially on one of the most important days of our lives. A month after ending our relationship with Aimee, we received an email from her demanding an additional $750 to cover her hard costs. We informed her that we would be open to a discussion, but felt she had been paid fairly through our prior payment and asked for an explanation regarding the specific amount and requested receipts for the hard costs she referred to. Aimee then proceeded to threaten us and refused to provide any additional information and told us her demands were not negotiable. In response, we stressed that without any sort of explanation; we did not feel comfortable paying an additional fee. In this email we requested to resolve the matter through mediation, but were served with papers on 10/4/12 to attend Small Claims Court! We were completely shocked! I can't comment on her wedding planning in Northern CA, but having her plan a destination wedding was a complete disaster, in addition to taking a huge emotional toll. For someone who plans weddings for a living, I was shocked to see the extent she went to in order to ruin our wedding after we let her go.

Aimee was an extremely important part of our wedding planning as we live in NJ and got married out in CA. She quickly figure out the style and look we were going for and absolutely delivered!! We were so pleased to have such a wonderful person helping plan our wedding. !00% would recommend.

I found 2Chic just from a Yellow Pages search after the stresses of wedding planning were getting overwhelming. They were one of the 5 event planning services we interviewed. They were slightly higher priced than the others but we immediately felt confident in their abilities and knew we wouldn't have to worry about anything after that. We were so right! Aimee made the experience so enjoyable and she and her team didn't miss a beat! The only regret we have is that we didn't choose them from the start. We initially didn't think a planner was in our budget but we soon learned that we needed the know-how of a planner. A planner does charge a fee, however, they will also protect you from getting scammed and they know all the good vendors and how the whole wedding planning business works. Let 2Chic take over and you can save your energy for the little things.

We were dealing with a short time scale and didn't really have a clue, Aimee helped us with everything. We were particularly impressed with her philosophy of dealing with vendors, she was always really friendly and helpful to them thus making them far more inclined to be helpful in return. All attending the wedding couldn't believe we had only spent 3 months planning it, it was perfect and that was very much due to Aimee.
