David was the perfect officiant! He has a balanced sense of humor while being sentimental and providing a marvelous ceremony. David is the absolute best. David Zavala was absolutely amazing to work with. We hired him through Thumbtak. Within hours of reaching out to him, he responded back and we set up our first phone call together. He was so easy-going and listened to our vision. Unfortunately due to the pandemic, we needed to postpone our wedding for an entire year. David was understanding and worked with us through the entire postponement. With a last minute decision, we decided to get married in our backyard on our original date and David came to officiate our wedding. He was perfect, professional and so friendly! He set up a live feed so all of our guests could watch us marry while social distancing. Not to mention, we only gave him about a week’s notice to pull it altogether after we thought we were postponing everything for a year. He made our intimate backyard ceremony as perfect as we could have ever imagined. Fast forward to a year later, he officiated our second ceremony on our postponed date. He worked with us to capture the perfect script given the circumstances. People were so impressed with the thoughtfulness and creativity of our second ceremony, nothing but compliments. After working with David twice, I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone for any ceremonial occasion. He will make your day just as perfect as you can imagine.
