At 2kUL Entertainment, we love weddings. We mean we REALLY love them. And we would love to be a part of yours. We are professional, responsive, and committed to the success of your big day. Please give us a chance to show you why we have been voted both the Best of the Best in the Rutland Herald's Reader's Choice Awards 4 of the last 5 years AND Best of Weddings on TheKnot.com for 2016 , 2017, and now 2018. We've never received a review of less than 5 stars. Sure we have the newest, top-of-the-line equipment, but there is simply no substitute for genuine excitement, superb customer service, and hard work. So, come on. Give us a try. You won't regret it.

We would highly recommend Josh for a wedding DJ! He was so great to work with leading up to the wedding. Since we had a bilingual wedding, we even had to request a couple songs in French and he made sure he was able to get those and incorporate them into the music for our wedding. He did a fantastic job and kept everyone dancing all night! Highly recommend!

DJ Big Handsome aka Chris was absolutely amazing on our big day!! he knew exactly how to get the crowd dancing and kept them dancing all night long!! We got so many compliments from our guests about the music selections he had and also his very very impressive dance moves !!!! We couldn't have asked for anyone better to have there on our wedding day !!!

One of the most important things to us on our wedding was the music. Music can make or break an experience at a wedding and we wanted to make sure our guests remember the dancing and dance all night. With Josh as our DJ we where NOT disappointed. He guided us to a very successful reception. He was attentive to our needs and what we wanted before during and after the wedding. He played such a FUN selection of songs. Josh suggested the anniversary dance to get the dancing started and it 100% worked! EVERYONE got up and from that moment forward; nobody stopped dancing. He listened to all of our picky music do's and dont's of what we wanted at our wedding. He was affordable as well. Such an amazing party. Thank you for making our day so entertaining and special! HIRE THIS COMPANY! You will not be disappointed.

Josh was the BEST DJ for our wedding!!! He worked seamlessly with our coordinator - and - he was LOCAL to our venue! He talked me through my pre-wedding stresses and put up with my haphazard thoughts. He made our ceremony go effortlessly and worked the dance floor like nobody’s business! Josh was seriously a life saver....and a fun one at that! Affordable, excellent service, and my wedding was an unforgettable night! Thanks josh!!!!

We had the pleasure of working with Josh Butler, DJ JBut, for our wedding, and we couldn't be happier! He truly is awesome and amazing at what he does, and we can honestly say that having him as our DJ really was the “thing” that made our wedding complete. Josh was so easy to work with, and we appreciated that he took the time to get to know us before our wedding day. He was so thorough and attentive as we walked through our vision and outlined our timeline, and he made sure he had all the songs that were important to us ahead of time. He was extremely flexible and professional, and on our wedding day, he was the ultimate MC, helping to keep things on track during a hectic but incredible day. He communicated well, and didn’t miss a thing! Josh, DJ JBut, was great during our cocktail hour and reception, and we are so thankful that he was also able to play music and provide a microphone for our wedding ceremony. This added a special element to our wedding day. He made sure he had the exact songs we wanted for the bridal processional, bride entrance, and recessional - and when the bridal processional took a bit longer than expected, he had already made sure to add a loop to the end of the song so that it continued on seamlessly. That’s professionalism right there! What DJ JBut does truly is an art form, and he had the unique ability to adapt to different settings, manage our timeline, mix, shift, and flow song after song, switch genres seamlessly, and he was able to manage the crowd and emotions of the day, all while making the bride and groom feel special. Since our wedding, we have had many of our guests, of all ages, tell us how awesome our DJ was and that they didn't want to leave the dance floor! They have raved about DJ JBut’s song choices and ability to get everyone moving, dancing, and singing along. We highly recommend working with 2kUL Entertainment and we would rate them 5 stars over and over again. DJ JBut was experienced, professional, genuine, easy-going, and added a much appreciated calming presence on such a big day. And of course, he knows how to entertain and impress a diverse crowd. Josh Butler was amazing! Josh’s personality and professionalism is top notch. Josh kept the music going from beginning to end. He definitely did not disappoint. I would not hesitate to recommend Josh. Josh also owns a photo booth which was a big hit the adults and the kids. Thank you again Josh for making my brothers wedding a day we will never forget!

Josh Butler truly is the BEST! He made our wedding day perfect! From the very beginning Josh was easy to work with and answered every question with ease and understanding. From picking out music before the wedding day to the end of the reception, Josh was involved in every detail. He had the dance floor packed and our guests loved it! I had so many people compliment on how great of a DJ he was. He really does go the extra mile to make sure your day goes smoothly and on track. Chris Kiernan (DJ Big Handsome) was the absolute best DJ for our wedding! He was so much fun, kept everyone out on the dance floor and even participated in a lap dance for the groom! All of our guests loved the music he played, it was so perfect!

Our DJ Chris Kiernan (a.k.a DJ Big Handsome) was just awesome. Prior to the wedding, he made sure that we were on the same page with all of our expectations. Through emails and phone calls Chris made sure that he knew exactly what type of music would get the crowd going. He didn't fail to deliver! Our guests were entertained and danced all night. Our wedding was at our home, and his delivery of the equipment was on-time and the set-up was professional. From the lighting, to the playlist, to the announcements and general MC duties, Chris was a Class-A professional. We highly recommend Chris if you're looking for a fun DJ that is guaranteed to keep your wedding dance floor moving. We're happy to have met and worked with Chris to have made a new friend! Josh was a great DJ. He was very flexible and wants what you want!! He was very helpful with suggestions in the planning and timing of the events at our wedding . He is very conscientious in making sure we had the right versions of our songs. He was great with our guests and very personable and our guests raves about him. I have already recommended him!!!

He took the time to sit with us and make sure we had all the songs we wanted. You can tell he really cares, and takes his DJ services very seriously. We highly recommend using 2kul entertainment. We had Josh Butler DJ our wedding ceremony and he was absolutely wonderful! From our first interaction with him we could tell what a dedicated professional he was, handling every aspect of our event with great care. He worked with us on every detail to make sure everything was perfect, he took our suggestions into consideration and tailored a wonderful playlist that had our dance floor packed all night. We cannot recommend him enough.

Joey was absolutely fabulous! He nailed every detail on the head including our last minute change for our ceremony music. From 5 years old to 70 years old the dance floor was full the entire night! If only our venue allowed for us to extend the dancing! We highly recommend Joey for your event!

Joe was our DJ at our wedding this past weekend (10/7/17) at the Red Clover Inn! He did an amazing job! We worked together to create a play list we knew our guests would love and our dance floor was never empty! He made sure that we stayed on schedule so that our dances and speeches went off without a hitch. Our friends played our first dance and he came early so that he could meet with them to set up! Highly recommend!

Josh Butler, DJ JBut, is the absolute best at what he does! From thoroughly going through every song to make sure we had the right version in the right moment, to being personable and professional, he hit all the marks! He even worked with my father and stepmother on surprise songs for special dances. Also, Our families put together a video of photos of my husband and I over the years, and Josh worked with me on song choices for that as well! My mother in law works at the resort where we had the reception, and she made a point to tell me that he was the best she has seen for a wedding DJ there. We had every intention to light up the dance floor with our friends and family, and every song was perfect from beginning to very end. I didn't want it to stop, and as a bride, I am so thankful that Josh helped create amazing memories for years to come. I would stop looking, and pick him! Worth every penny! Thank you Josh!!! We had the pleasure of having DJ Joey Nice perform as our DJ at our recent wedding at the Mountain Top Inn in Chittenden, VT. Our wedding was on a Tuesday night, September 5th. We reached out to Joe about 6-8 months before our wedding. Working a Tuesday night was no problem for Joe. We exchanged emails in the months leading up to our wedding to start to narrow in on our music choices, and overall what we wanted for the night. My wife and I spoke with Joe on the phone for about an hour a week prior to our wedding, and nailed down all of the details. Joe was very detail oriented, and did a great job of working in everything we wanted, exactly how we wanted it, and still taking requests from guests throughout the night. The dance floor was always busy, and I have received many compliments since our wedding, from people young and old, saying what a great job the DJ did. Thank you DJ Joey Nice, for helping to make our special day so perfect!!!! I'd recommend DJ Joey Nice for any wedding or event without hesitation!!

We had Josh Butler dj our wedding a couple of weeks ago... He was absolutely phenomenal!! He met us at the venue before our wedding day to find the best place to set up. He spoke with us about the kind of music we wanted and also had some great suggestions. I had been to events before that he had been dj for and was already impressed... I was hesitant though to have a dj at our wedding because it was a small group of people and I wasn't sure if anyone would actually dance. Josh had everyone dancing, even my 70 year old in-laws!! He was so good at reading the crowd and catering to what they would want to hear. Not only that, he's a really kind and fun guy, he even came on to the dance floor to dance with me when I asked him! Definitely the best dj around, I highly recommend hiring him.

Joe was an awesome addition to our wedding. With a tight budget, we decided to hire a DJ, as dancing was a major piece of our wedding we wanted, and Joe came with his own equiptment (and backup equiptment), was able to help with additional needs (we had a live performer who needed some things) and was very go with the flow. Joe was awesome with his music, reading the crowd and being almost a wedding planner and making sure everything ran smoothly. Outside of a mic issue to start off the ceremony, Joe was an amazing addition to our day, he helped calm our nerves and took care of any curve balls that came up during the day and was very poised and under control during the planning and execution on the day of. We were blessed to have Joe be a part of our special day, and we would hire him again in the future.

We HIGHLY recommend DJ Josh Butler!!!! Josh AKA DJ JBUT was AMAZING at our wedding. His experience was apparent and very helpful. He went above and beyond in every interaction from meeting with us and our families ahead of the wedding to confirm all music, coordinating with my audio-enthusiast Dad and the band that played during the ceremony and cocktail hour, and even shooting some b-roll video! As far as the actual DJ-ing, he was wonderful! He played off the crowd, was very flexible, kept the energy moving and the dance floor packed. We couldn't have asked for a better DJ or nicer guy for the job! He is truly a team player and always had the goal of contributing what he could (which was A LOT) to our special day and we were absolutely blown away. Thank you so much Josh!!!

If you want a huge non-stop dance party at your wedding Joe is your man!!! All ages were on the dance floor from the first song to the last, we could not have asked for a better DJ for our crowd!! If we could give 10 stars we would!!! You can't go wrong with 2kUL entertainment for your wedding!!

DJ Joey Nice did such an awesome job with our wedding at the lake! We found DJ Joey to be incredibly responsive (replying within a few minutes/hours every time), flexible and happy to accommodate whatever we wanted and super organized leading-up to and during the event. He came with an awesome audio system and light setup that sounded amazing. He also came with a complete backup system just to make sure everything went as planned on our big day, which was a huge relief (although it never got used). He did a great job at the reception keeping us on track as we didn't have a wedding coordinator. He knew how to read the crowd and the dance floor was packed all night! If DJ Joey is available on your date, book him now! Thank you Joe for making the night such a memorable one!!

DJ Joey Nice! He was the best. Very fast and easy to communicate with, which is very important to me in this day and age. Everything went exactly how I wanted! I even gave him a list of random indie songs I love to be played at dinner and he played each and every one. He has no time limit! We knew we wanted someone who would keep the party going late into the night and he did just that. He even stuck around longer after everyone had a few too many cocktails and were all wandering around. Everyone from my 5 year old niece, to my 77 year old grandfather were jamming out. I would definitely recommend him! Thanks again Joe!

I cannot speak any higher about the outstanding atmosphere and professionalism provided by Joe and the crew of 2KUL Entertainment. My now wife and I were immediately put at ease from our initial meeting with Joe and the ease of preparation of all of the details to the final execution of the big day! From the processional, to the background music during the cocktail hour, to the introductions and the 1st dance clear through until the end of our perfect evening, Joe never "missed a beat" all day! Joe was incredible!!! On a day with so much going on he was calm and helpful. He played amazing music that got everyone dancing, singing and laughing! Mother of the bride was ecstatic which is key, and there were countless compliments we received from guests regarding the music and introductions!! DJ Joey Nice was an awesome DJ he kept the party going the entire night! We had the ceremony and reception in the same location and he did such a great job directing everyone where to go and keeping things fun. He really customized the playlist to songs and genres that me and my husband love, keeping everyone davingjng and laughing. We even got him out on the dance floor for the last song of the night. We had Josh Butler (DJ JBut) as our DJ for our wedding this past weekend and he was amazing!! He was extremely thorough in his meetings with us, making sure he had the correct versions of the songs we were using. He also has SO many song suggestions up his sleeve, which was handy when we were stumped on what to do. Our reception was full of dancers, and he kept the floor full all night. He played a great variety of music that pleased everyone, from the tiny kiddos to the grandmas! Not only is he a great DJ, but he's a sweetheart! He was so nice to everyone he talked to, extremely accommodating to all of our requests, and just a great addition to our wedding night. Thank you, Josh!

I cannot say enough wonderful things about our DJ, DJ Joey Nice! He was fantastic at our wedding. He did such a great job with our loooong list of introductions.. ..& in addition to songs we requested, he played great tunes that we wouldn't have thought of on our own to keep the crowd dancing ALL NIGHT! The dance floor was packed the entire evening and Joey was just superb! Everyone had so much fun, the group was chanting "one more song" at the end of the night - & he of course delivered! Joey was fun, professional & so easy to work with. I would recommend him again and again to anyone that needs a GREAT DJ!! ! Thanks again DJ JOEY NICE !!

Josh was awesome! He was professional as well as very personable. He provided us with a packet to specify exactly what are needs were. He also conveniently meet with us at our own home to go over any/all details. At my weeding I had my fathers band play along with having Josh DJ. He was very flexible and catered to our every need. Josh was easy to work with and played great music. I highly recommend DJ JBUT!

Planning a wedding can get pretty stressful. 2kUL helped take a load of stress off of us when it came to DJing our wedding. There are many vendors to choose from so you always ask yourself "am I making the right choice?" After sitting down with 2kUL and discussing what we would like to see happen there was never any doubt that they wouldn't be able to pull off all of our requests. Leaving the first meeting we gave the date of our wedding but they have a way of making you feel like you're not locked in until you are absolutely certain you want to be locked in. 2kUL knows what it's like to make huge decisions, like who to pick to be the DJ at your dream wedding, and allow you to make those decisions without any pressure. Once we decided to use 2kUL, we had another meeting and went over the play list that WE created. Making sure that they had all of the correct songs and versions of the songs was awesome. 2kUL will throw out suggestions on how they would do things because lets face it, they have been in many of these situations and we had not. The day came and being an outside wedding we hoped for a beautiful sunny day and that's what we prepared for. Instead, we got rainy and cold. BUT 2kUL had such good entertainment and stuck it out with us for the entire evening until the dance floor cleared out (which was wayyy past bed time hours). Since our wedding, everybody who brings up DJ talk, I will be the first one to suggest 2kUL entertainment. Very affordable, accommodating and fun!! They will do anything to make sure the crowd is entertained and will play any kind of music you would like on your play list and know how to mix it up with some of their own ideas to keep everybody on their toes wanting more to boogy on down to!! Speaking from experience, picking 2kUL to DJ your big day will not leave you disappointed. At the end of the day you yourself will know that you made the right choice by choosing them as well!!!

My review for our DJ Josh. Josh was amazing from beginning to end. He came to our house and sat down with us and went over our styles of music. He made the process so easy and great. The day of the wedding he came early and set up. He was dressed very professionally and he also helped up find a ukulele player to play a song for our first dance. We we're super impressed with everything. I hope this helps for anyone that is looking to book a great DJ. We just cant say enough good things!

Taking on the task of planning an event that will define you and your partner can be a stressful experience. My wife and I worked to control as many factors as we were able and walked away from our wedding with some knowledge about how to advise other couples who are planning their big day. The importance of consistency and predictability would be at the top of that list. No other factor most accurately reflects this like the choice of our Wedding DJ. Joe Lorman (aka Joey Nice) brought an organized and comfortable approach to a very complex event. His ability to blend a creative and timely approach with our special requests was the most fluid I've experienced in the nearly 25 weddings I have attended. His personality provided the foundation for an entertaining and seamless experience that we will always treasure. We were impressed with a variety of aspects of his work, from his ability to manage our specialized introductions to his enthusiastic approach that kept people dancing all night. Our guests provided us some great feedback on Joey's work. My strong advice to couples making a decision about their DJ would be to hire Mr. Lorman to bring the excitement and consistency their big day deserves. Hire Joey for a stress free and individualized wedding experience.

DJ Joey Nice was the number one element that made my wedding day/night such a success. My Ceremony/Reception were all in one place, and Joey graciously took on the role of coordinating everything, from the music during the procession, to the vows, to wedding party entrance, to the speeches, to the dancing...everything thing was carefully thought through to the last detail. Joey has a great talent for sensing the vibe of the crowd, and caters the music accordingly so that every last person felt compelled to get out on the dance floor. I can't say enough about what a great experience Joey made the night - for all involved.

We used Joey Lorman for our wedding reception on June 21, 2014. Joey was fantastic! We made several changes, right up to the day of the wedding and he was always accommodating and courteous. He had everyone out on the dance floor from the very beginning of the our reception until the very end. He played music that appealed to all our family and friends and most importantly he kept the energy up throughout the night. He looked and acted professional and overall did an amazing job. We Couldn't be happier we hired him to make our wedding reception a blast!! We would and will refer him to anyone needing a dj and would use him again in a heartbeat.
