2nd Generation did the videography for my wedding and I am SO INCREDIBLY HAPPY we used them for our services!! They were very easy to work with and communicative throughout the entire process. There isn’t a detail Meredith and Jerry left out and captured every memory perfectly. When it comes to looking back and reflecting on your wedding, the only pieces left are pictures and video so I HIGHLY RECOMMEND getting video captured. They were such a pleasure to work with and were so involved and energetic throughout the entire day. I love every thing about my wedding video and cry tears of joy every time I watch it. I am so thankful to them for accurately capturing the day and allowing me to relieve my dream wedding over and over again for many many years to come. Meredith was such a pleasant, lovable person and I’m so thankful to have gained a new friend out of our brief time together as well! She meshed well with our wedding guests and ensured everyone had a great time. If you’re considering booking with them..... stop thinking and JUST DO IT! You’ll be so incredibly happy you did!!

This is the nicest family. They did an amazing job filming my wedding. They are trustworthy, uplifting, happy, and detailed. Meredith was the one that stayed the closest to me while filming. She is energetic and confident. I cannot thank her enough for her suggestion with the ribbon on my bouquet, it was beautiful. If you cannot pay for everything up front, no problem. Just pay for their services and buy what you want down the road. I wasn't going to have a videographer at my wedding due to the cost until a coworker recommended them. You won't be disappointed.

Jerry, Penney, and Meredith are wonderful people and made my whole experience so easy and stress-free. They were very helpful and were fun to have around during our wedding. It is great that they have such a variety of options for different budgets, and the delayed production option is really great too. It's amazing how they were every where at once and still unobtrusive during the wedding. I can't WAIT to see what they captured in our wedding video!

Working with the 2nd Generation crew was truly incredible. They are SO friendly, so professional, and they made all of the planning and entire wedding day process SO fun! We felt so comfortable with them- we could not have asked for anything more of them. They captured the most special day (and every single special moment of that day) of our lives in LIVE ACTION. The video they put together is truly phenomenal. I can't watch it enough! From parents, to bridesmaids and groomsmen, before the wedding, during the ceremony, the reception, every prop/decoration, cake cutting, toasts, dancing, games, the send-off... you name it, they captured it, and they made a perfect, breathtaking, video out of it. It will definitely be something we treasure for the rest of our lives. We have already planned a tradition to watch it every year on our anniversary- and no doubt, there will be tears of joy each and every time. :) Once again, I can't recommend them enough. I promise they will exceed your expectations.

I would highly recommend working with Jerry for your upcoming wedding. He was so friendly and did everything we asked of him. He was easily accessible and always willing to change whatever we wanted. On the day of our wedding, he did everything we wanted and was always there to capture the moment. We love our wedding video and you will too if you pick him.

The 2nd generation films team was by far one of my favorite vendors at my wedding. Meredith was SO kind during the filming of our wedding and has THE BEST personality to make you feel beautiful and comfortable on the big day. Upon receiving my video that Meredith worked so hard on, she was open and willing to hear all of the changes I wanted. Meredith truly wanted me to be happy and did whatever I asked of her. I LOVED being able to make suggestions and kinda make it "my own" while she still kept to her beautiful work and style. I absolutely recommend using them for your next wedding!!!

As with most weddings, there are things that make the cut and then things that dont. Unfortunately most of the time, videography is one of those first items that get tossed out as the bills start to accumulate. Even in my case, the first thing my fiance went to cross off the list was videography-- but I had too many people tell me it was a MUST/their biggest regret not doing it... so I over-ruled him! I told him, "lets just meet with them before we make a decision, this is important to me". So he agreed.. needless to say we left the meeting with my fiance completely on board! Penny and Jerry are so accommodating, they will set up an initial meeting with you to go over all the packages and how everything works, and they will have another meeting closer to the wedding to go over the details of what you want and what the event timeline looks like. In my case, their daughter Meredith was there filming while I was doing the "pre-ceremony" getting ready shots. She was super awesome by the way! Constantly making me feel like I was the most gorgeous person ever (which every bride should feel on her wedding day) ..she really helped to boost my confidence, which I appreciated (because its a lot of pressure to have everyone looking at you all day)!! But the best part of this hubby/wife duo-team is that they offer a "pay-later" option. They will come and shoot your wedding (all you have to pay is the down payment and $100 for each filmers "time"). Then you just pay them the remaining balance as soon as you have the money ready... in 3 weeks, 3 months, 1 year.... whenever! You dont get your video until you pay the balance, but still, that an amazing option to have! Most people cut this from their budgets because they dont have the money, but I'm telling you, budget for the downpayment, have them shoot your wedding, then when things calm down pay them to get your film! Theres one thing you can never re-see-- your wedding. Videos capture so much more than photos- my groom did a little speech on why he wanted to marry me, and how he was feeling before the ceremony...like things I would never have seen without this video... dont miss out on something you can never get after the fact!! This company is awesome, and you wont regret it!!!

We cannot recommend 2nd Generation Films enough! From the first time I met Jerry and Penney at the Austin Bridal Extravaganza, they treated me like one of their own. They were an absolute joy to work with! With years of experience, Jerry talked me through the whole process in detail, which completely put my mind at ease as I was planning an Austin wedding from California. Their customer service is truly the best! Penney was with me as I was getting ready that morning and she was a blessing to have, capturing all of the shots that I would have wanted to remember, but would have otherwise been missed in the hustle and bustle of the big day. Both Jerry and Penney did a killer job filming, but I mostly appreciate their patience and guidance (when needed) to produce an absolutely beautiful wedding film that we can watch over and over year after year! I can say that the GREATEST benefit with hiring 2nd Generation was that we had up to a year after our wedding to produce our film. This is HUGE coming off the tail of the great expense of a wedding, and allows a bit of a breather. I’m not familiar with any other vendor that does this. Leah worked with me on the film production – she is a sweetheart and so talented! I absolutely loved working with her! Like I said… we can’t say ENOUGH GOOD THINGS! Thank you, 2nd Generation for everything! We are so in love with our final product and greatly appreciate you!

Absolute Perfection! We are ecstatic with our beautiful video that 2nd Generation made for us! On the day of the wedding there is so much going on, the day is filled with many amazing memories and precious moments! When my husband and I were watching the video I had tears of joy because all those moments were captured, even moments that I didn't remember, just because the day goes by so quickly. As odd as it may seem I do not remember seeing anyone filming, they are extremely talented and some how are able to capture everything with out being noticed! I think that is amazing because it shows how considerate they are. Having the video of my wedding day is so precious to me, being able to see the day again makes me happier than anyone could know! It is something that I will cherish the rest of my life, and enjoy watching on our anniversaries I would also like to mention that I LOVE everyone from 2nd Generation and I think that they are some of the kindest, considerate, patient, joyful people. We were not sure we could fit videography into our budget, but I knew if it could be done, I wanted this team to do it. I have seen so many of their films that I realized it would benefit my son and his wife to be able to see so much more of the interaction between the people at the wedding that still pictures wouldn't capture. You just cannot be everywhere at the same time and the day flies by so quickly. This is one of the best investments we made for the wedding. Planning the details was fun and it made such a spectacular event, but the people and relationships was what really counted. You can't take a picture of the speeches, you cant really relive the dances or other vital sequences without video...much of the unexpected translates so much better on video. Jerry went over and above to film the flag raising we dedicated over the capital for my son, the groom, who servers in the Marine Corps and is a proud Texan. He also applied his expertise to provide live streaming of the ceremony so that elderly family members in other states could witness the vows. No doubt, 2nd Generation Video (Jerry and Penney Malcolm) were a sweet addition to our celebration and they are worth every cent!

It was truly a pleasure working with 2nd Generation. I met Jerry at a bridal show and we just connected. When my now husband and I went to meet with Jerry and Penney, I was completely sold. 2nd Generation was so great to work with!! So professional and talented. I am so looking forward to seeing the finished product but what I have seen so far is amazing! One of the best parts of hiring 2nd Generation is that they were able to live stream our ceremony so our out of state family who couldn't make it were able to still be part of the day.

My husband and I really had not intentions on getting a videographer and at the last minute we had a friend tell us to meet with 2nd Generation. So we decided to try it. After meeting Penny and Jerry we were definitely going to get a videographer and they were who we were getting. They took the time to get to know us and the things that were important to us on our special day. They have great payment plans/options and are very professional with the most up to date technology. To this day we still watch our video often and are so thankful they did such a wonderful job at helping us remember our day. It was the best money we spent!

2nd Generation Films provided their amazing videographer services for my wedding in Round Rock. Not only were they affordable and professional, but the experience made with them was one I will not forget, so friendly and helpful in the planning for our ceremony and reception. I have several copies of the film they made because I loved it so much I wanted to be able to share the memories with my family. The wedding itself was a fairytale but capturing those special moments on film is a happiness I can't even explain, being able to watch back one of the most beautiful days of my families life. Every moment was caught and made into a memory that I can share with even the people who were not able to come to our wedding because the footage is that wonderful. I have recommended their services to friends and family and would recommend them to a stranger on the street because everyone deserves to have those moments captured on film by people who will provide the best product and the most memorable experience. The 2nd Generation team was truly a pleasure to work with on our wedding day, especially Penney and Jerry. They are so sweet and friendly, and made everyone feel comfortable being in front of the camera. They captured moments that I didn't get a chance to see on the actual day of the wedding, but that I am glad a videographer was there to capture. For example, they captured a very sweet moment of my husband's grandmother and grandfather slow dancing, as well as footage of my hubby-to-be at the time acting nervous before the wedding! You can also tell a lot of time and thought was put into editing the final product, with music selections timed perfectly. I am glad that we used 2nd Generation for our wedding!

These guys are great! We haven't purchased our video yet because we were able to defer purchase and only pay for the videographer hours. This is extremely helpful for those tight budgets! You will never get that moment back, make sure you record the special day! We can't wait to see the finished product, I'm sure it will be amazing!

Second Generation Video Productions was great to work with. Jerry and Penney Malcolm were a pleasure to work with. The joy of their daughter who worked our wedding (she had gotten married a few weeks before) was contagious. They also were great at being in the right place at the right time. We would recommend them to everyone we know.

I did not hire this videographer because my initial consultation with him was awful. He was rude and abrasive and he thought his services were the best in the world. I ended up going with a photographer that was much better and more professional than this company,

We hired 2nd Generation Video Production to video tape our wedding ceremony and reception. Jerry and Penney are amazing people to work with so much fun and so nice. Not only do they make you feel at ease behind the camera but they are extremely helpful in the planning process also. They walk through every detail with you and all of your options so you can actually understand everything. Even if you can’t afford the entire video upfront, they will tape everything so you can make the decision later. They are both such great people and actually care about you and your family… Mr. Jerry even showed up at the rehearsal just to meet all our close family and friends and even video tape a bit. We were so lucky to find videographers with such wonderful hearts that actually care.

After working with Jerry & Penney for 2 ceremonies and a Love Story interview, we can honestly say that they are wonderful! Their products are top notch and they are so much fun to be around. You will absolutely love working with the two of them and the end product you will cherish for a lifetime! If you are considering a videographer, you MUST check out Jerry & Penney. If you aren't considering a videographer, you should be. :) Are kids and grandkids (in the years / decades to come) now have a priceless gift!

Penney and Jerry are fabulous, extremely professional and bery friendly. We decided to pay for this expense on our own and they set up an online invoise that we can just make payments to as we have available funds. A videographer was something we felt we could not afford and they have made it a possibility. Our video montage (far from the slideshow things from the 80s) was spectacular! The photos were timed precisly to the music and the animation and techniques that Jerry uses keeps it interesting and meaningful- for friends and family. The greatest quality is their ability to listen and not "talk" you into something you do not want or that may not be in your budget... 2nd Generation Video is not trying to "sell you" on their service, they are trying to help create a memory for you and your family...

We added the videographer on near the end of our planning, only about 3 months before the wedding. Jerry and Penny were right there to step in without even flinching. They were recommended to us by our photographer and were a great fit. They made sure to capture all the details we wanted and more. They are hard workers and great people.

It's true they are great to work with; however, my dvd was a complete let down. For the most part, it only showed me and a little of my husband...only a few shots of guests and a lot of weird slow motion kissing. They are fantastic to work with but get VERY specific with what you want.

BOOK THEM NOW! They were awesome to work with! We enjoyed their attention to every last detail and incredible friendliness. Post-wedding was the smoothest vendor to deal with, as well.
