Although based in Kansas City, 2Proud2Beg serves couples throughout the country in cities such as St. Louis, Des Moines, Dallas, Chicago, Denver and many more. We have even traveled overseas and would happily do so to help serve your needs.
We work closely with you to create a professional level, live musical experience. We use the absolute, best local talent to create unforgettable, moving, musical moments that add unique energy and style to your wedding and that you help to design. From the first consultation to the last note we play, our focus is to create memories that you and your family and friends will never forget!

from the reception venue). Ron was super easy to work with and even video chatted with us prior to our wedding to get to know us and go over the reception schedule with us. During the reception, 2Proud2Beg absolutely crushed it. People of all ages were quite literally on the dance floor from 8 p.m. to midnight. Our guests were in awe of the band and continually told us so both during our reception and after!

They covered our first dance song (which was an entirely different genre than they play) and I think I love it more than the original. Having a band was something that was really important to me, and I was not disappointed at all. They brought all their equipment and lighting and, as far as I know, worked seamlessly with the venue and coordinator.

hen it came time to planning our wedding having 2Proud2Beg was an easy choice. Though, we got married in Colorado. We reached out to the band manager Ron and asked if they would be willing to travel. Sure enough they made the trip and we are SO thankful. The planning process was super easy because Ron was so organized and quick to respond. Then on the day of the wedding, they showed up on time and ready to perform. This band is amazing. Not only are they professionals but they are extremely talented. They had the dance floor full the entire reception because they are SO good. We had so many compliments from our wedding guests stating that our band was amazing and they had such a great time. My husband and I agree - we had the best time at our wedding reception thanks to 2Proud2Beg. I cannot say thank you enough to Ron and the 2Proud2Beg crew. We had searched high and low for a local KC band that wasn't the typical "wedding cover band" and as soon as we saw their Motown-filled set list with some of the 90s classics and modern songs we love, we were all in. atered to all of our needs with no questions asked. Ron was a great MC (first dance, cake cutting, speeches, food dismissals...everything!), and the rest of the band had non stop energy all night! Not only did they bring an amazing MoTown sound (which is why my wife and I hired them), but they showed great versatility in brining modern songs and also a few 80s hits to satisfy all of ours guests.
