We used 3 Blondes and a Martini for both of my daughters' weddings. Katie and her crew were so easy to work with and very helpful in providing the guidance we needed to know what alcohol and drinks to buy for the cocktail hour and reception. Also, very reasonable pricing for services. The bar tenders were amazing at both weddings and we even had one of the same bar tenders at both and he did an equally amazing job at both receptions. I would highly recommend this service.

We loved that we could provide our own beverages and that 3 Blondes would serve it up. They brought their own necessary equipment and kept our guests happy all night. The bartenders took great of us and were professional all night through to clean up. I didn't give 5 stars because I'm the type of person that likes more detail in emails and faster communication, but these folks know what they're doing and we'd hire them for another party.

My review won't affect their rating since it's 5 star with 70 others, but if someone reads this maybe it'll help. I ended up firing them and going with another service (DGB) a few weeks before our wedding. Initial contact was fine, but things went downhill fast after: -any days of phone tag, -lack of responsiveness, -seeming indifference to being a part of our special event and day(we were "just another gig" to them), -overall lack of communication, as -incorrect/ incomplete info on their contract. It appears they have grown too big.... and may need to hire an assistant to handle followup and details, and act excited for your event. DGB was awesome from first contact...... thru last call at our reception. Check them out too.

Affordable and great service! Our bartender had a great personality and was very professional, willing to do whatever we asked. He moved downstairs for dinner after the cocktail hour, then back upstairs during the dancing later in the evening. We also liked that we provided our own alcohol for them to serve and didn't have to buy directly from them.

Terrible! Not sure who are all those people that gave this vendor 5 stars here. We put in so much effort and money to have good quality cocktails at our wedding, but this so to say "bartendering" company ruined the great idea. The bartender was terrible, it was impossible to drink any of 4 cocktails that we asked him to make even though we provided them with the exact recipes of all 4 beforehand, as well as good quality liquors and freshly sqeezed jucies. Also, they promised to assign 2 bartenders to our event and only one showed up. I'm glad we didn't waste our money on 2 worthless bartenders though. Stay away!

Katie and her team are the best and recommended exactly what we needed for our wedding. Nathan was a total rockstar and even saved a bottle of my wife’s favorite wine when we ran out.

My fiance (now husband) and I really dropped the ball and waited until the very last minute to find bartenders for our wedding. Our alcohol provider referred us to 3 Blondes and, while it was hectic getting everything sorted out, they were able to make it work and cover our wedding event without a hitch! They were super flexible and friendly - everyone had a great time!

Although we provided all of our own alcohol, Katie helped me put together a comprehensive list of everything we should provide. Three Blondes came highly recommended and, unfortunately, did not live up to our expectations. Katie was very difficult to get a hold of throughout the entire process and seemed quite unorganized. We had to ask several times to get contracts edited with the correct pricing and locations. We also had to ask several times for a receipt and reminded her that we had already paid our balance. At the reception, they told many of our guests that we were out of our home brewed beer when, in fact, we weren't. It was disappointing that our bartenders were not more aware and that the company was so difficult to work with.

Oh my gosh. Where do I start? First, it was SO easy to work with these folks. Our venue allowed us to purchase our own alcohol, we simply needed a licensed bartending service to take care of pouring it. Enter 3 Blondes and a Martini. Our bartender was upbeat and the personification of professional. He was quick with a smile, and on top of everything. In addition to that, my husband and I had created a signature cocktail that we referred to as "Galaxy Punch" just because we didn't have a name for it. He made sure there was a sign on it, so people wouldn't just call it "The blue stuff." When it came time for the champagne toast, he made sure everyone had a glass at the ready, and poured it for each person, instead of just prepping champagne flutes at the bar and having folks retrieve them. It may seem like small things, but those are small things that really add up to a great experience. I love the way our party was treated like a priority, even though in the realm of wedding receptions, it was fairly small. THANK YOU SO MUCH.

Great bar service. They'll take back anything unopened and refund you, were very accommodating with changes in our alcohol requests, and bring everything you need for the bar including ice, cups, mixers, etc.

Very pleased with our experience. Allowed us to purchase our own alcohol and provided a comprehensive list of everything we needed which was very helpful! We had a large (and somewhat rowdy) guest list but the three gals we had did an awesome job of keeping the glasses full and lines to a minimum. Very reasonably priced!

Very Unprofessional! We did not a positive experience with 3 Blondes and a Martini. Once we placed our deposit with Kate she was extremely difficult to get in touch with. It took multiple attempts at calling and sending emails to be able to please our alcohol order. We also had a very poor experience with the bartenders who served our wedding. We opted to have a tip jar put on the counter for the guests to give gratuity to the bartenders, and one of the bartenders actually scolded my cousin for not tipping him! This was AFTER he had already put a $20 bill in the jar! Also, at the end of the reception when they were packing the remaining items up I told the bartender that I would like to keep the bottles of alcohol but that I wanted to return the soda and garnishings. In the contract we signed they gave us the option to keep or return any unopened items. The response I received from the bartender was, "That is not worth our time." I've never worked with a more unprofessional company. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. Although their pricing is appealing, I would definitely advise to spend a little more money on a company that doesn't insult your wedding guests or the bride and groom!

Despite my high hopes, I was displeased with the service I received from Katie and her bartenders. We had multiple discussions about my concern for running out of alcohol, and she assured me that her estimates are reliable and that she rarely runs out. However, we ran out of beer during dinner. Then one of her bartenders had the audacity to tell my father that he needed to leave the wedding to get more beer. She also purchased a type of alcohol that wasn’t approved and expected us to cover the additional costs. I was infuriated at the unprofessionalism and after I contacted her with my concerns, she assured me that she would make things right. After not hearing back in regards to my concerns and contacting her again a month and a half later, she told me she had fired the bartender that approached my father and that I still owed a decent amount of money for the alcohol that they had to go get when we ran out. The issue in regards to the surplus costs has yet to be resolved, as I am again waiting for a phone call a month later.

We used 3 Blondes and a Martini for our wedding. We ended up buying our own alcohol, and using them for bartending services. We rented a margarita machine from a different company and they made an effort to learn how to use it and make more throughout the night. We had multiple guest come up to us during/after the wedding to tell us how awesome the bartenders were! Full of personality, so fun, extremely nice, and professional! I never thought a bartender could enhance the guests (and our!) experience so much. Highly recommended! Only con is Katie is slow to respond to emails and we were still asking her for a contract just weeks before the wedding! Everything came together, though, and turned out great!

These were the BEST BARTENDERS EVER! Our guests never went without a drink and were always greeted with a friendly face who would serve almost anything! I loved having 3 Blondes at our event as they provided another element of hospitality for our closest friends and family!

I began looking for bartending service the Spring of 2013. What I found out is that I got more than just 2 bartenders and a 1 bar back for the evening but I received excellent support from 3 Blondes & A Martini Owner Katie Petterson. Katie helped us plan a perfect drink menu, which included a specialty drink, Hurricane Martini but she had the liquor/beer/wine delivered. There were sufficient liquor, beer, wine, and specialty cocktail to serve our guests throughout the party. We were also able to return the extra wine! I should also mention Katie's service staff was friendly, upbeat and polished; they were ready to go when our guests arrived. This is an excellent service and I don't know what I would have done without Katie! This service goes above and beyond to make your special day truly special!!! I did not have to worry about one thing! After reading reviews it worries me that anyone can just say anything on here they want to. Of course we all want a truthful review of potential businesses that we are considering using so that we can make an educated decision, however I worry when people seem to go to great lengths to actually try to hurt someone's business. I would encourage anyone that is unhappy with any service they pay for to contact the owner and let them know they were dissatisfied before posting a negative review without giving the owner an opportunity to remedy the problem. I think that's the way we would all like to be treated!

I would like to plead with you to save your time, money and frustration and find another bartending service if you are considering this company. I have never in my life dealt with anyone more unprofessional, unorganized, and downright inept at running a business than the owner of this business, Katie. For every 5 emails I sent I would get one response. We did not get a final quote for the alcohol until the week of the wedding. Not only that, but she didn't order enough. They had already run out of white wine and mixes for the signature drink before we even showed up to the wedding. While the bartenders themselves were very kind and provided excellent service, the stress and frustration of chasing around a vendor is not worth it. And I'm sure this will look like the ranting of a bitter bride, but I will tell you that when I spoke to other vendors who knew her they all said I was not the only one who had these complaints. These other vendors would include; liquor store, DJ, cake, and reception site. If your reputation is bad amongst other business professionals that should be a sign that you should reevaluate how you run "your business" if you could even call it that. I would have fired her if I could have but the best I could do was write reviews on every wedding website to save other brides.

Would recommend this vendor. Slow to respond to emails but in the end really came through.

Cindy did a great job tending bar for our wedding reception. Everyone was please with the pours and we even had wine and beer to spare after the event. Katie was easy to work with via email prior to the event, and she even called to walk us through what we should purchase, where to go and how much to buy. Easy and worth the fee.

We were happy with our bartenders. They were very personable, and one of the only bartending companies in the KC area. My only cons I would voice is they opened several bottles of wine that were still full. We can take them back if they are unopened, but since they had opened them we have to drink them soon. And the price per hour plus if you pay for the tips is pretty steep. They were almost as much as our cupcakes! And I tried to let people know that we paid their tips for the night, but I know they got some from attendants which I couldn't control. We went with them because the venue had them on a preferred vendor list, but you don't get a discount.

My one goal was to have the wedding go well and become a fond memory -------- I feel comfortable that happened!!! I also feel the bartenders did a GREAT job and feel comfortable promoting 3 blondes to anyone that will listen to me !! Have a great holiday!

Hi Katie! I wanted to send a note to say thank you! Your two bartenders were AMAZING, I do not think I could have prayed for better service than they provided. I called them “lifesavers” because I was really short-handed on committee members on the food/beverage side and they were always on top of jumping in and helping me keep our event running smoothly! I added some additional gratuity in the amount of $30 to the check I gave your ladies. Please split that evenly between the two of them! The Alabama Slammers were a success as well! A+ to 3 Blondes & a Martini. I will be writing great things about your services in my report for the event and will also be keeping you in mind for any of my personal party needs!

The customer service on the front end of things was not so great, and we were frustrated with slow/no responses at times. But if you can get through some of those frustrations on the front end, ask for Mike the bartender because he was fantastic!

This bartending service was fantastic! The owner is so friendly and easy to work with. It was so helpful to hear EXACTLY what I should order, where to go, and how much to get for my group size. The bartender showed up on time, served drinks and did not leave the area a mess when he left. My only concern was that I was ordering my alcohol last minute because they are so popular the owner wasn't able to check in until a few days before. But it all worked out just fine!

3 blondes did a great job taking care of the bar, but my mother wishes we would have hired another bartender to man the non alcoholic drinks. The company was a little difficult to get a hold of when making arrangements before the wedding, but on the day of, we have no complaints!

We had a great experience with these ladies. We got our liquor through a wholesale provider, but these ladies helped us figure out quantity we should get. There was quite a bit of alcohol left over, but much better than running out. These ladies were very personable and I even had some guests tell me afterwards how friendly the bartenders were. Working with 3 Blondes and a Martini was a fantastic experience. We initially planned to hire a bartender that one of our friends knew and buy our own alcohol – we thought it would help us keep the budget down. A little over a month out from the wedding, we still weren’t able to lock in a final plan and decided to go a different route. On the recommendation of our wedding venue, we checked out 3 Blondes – and we’re SO glad we did. Katie responded to our request almost immediately and worked closely with us to get a quick estimate for both the beverages and their bartending services for our 4/21/12 wedding reception. She helped us plan finalize our order about two weeks before the event as well. On the wedding day, the bartenders were prompt and professional. In fact, as the bride and groom, we didn’t have much opportunity to get to the bar because they kept an eye on us and kept our drinks filled! Aside from the great service, our guests loved the bartenders. They were PHENOMENAL and we hope they had a great time with us and our guests! Everything was really just perfect – we couldn't have asked for more.

They created a wonderful signature cocktail for our reception. A lot of our guests really liked it!

We used Katie & 3 Blondes and a Martini for our wedding reception of 800+ guests. I found 3 Blondes and a Martini by random. I was in the process of gathering quotes from several different caters. I got in contact with Katie and decided to go with her service. From the very first meeting to the "Big Day" Katie was very helpful and very engaged in every step of the planning process. She went above and beyond. From helping us determine who to purchase our liquor through, the amount we would need to serve, and even the types of liquor. On the "Big Day" we ran into some complications with our rental company. Their idea of a bar were just several 8' ft tables. Again to the rescue Katie & her team at 3 Blondes & A Martini worked their magic and turned those simple tables to an inviting setting. We received multiple compliments from our guests on Katie & her team. Not only are they professional and friendly, they are also quick to adapt to changes. With the stress of planning a wedding, after choosing to use 3 Blondes & a Martini's service this was one area that I never stressed about after electing to go with them. I highly recommend Katie & her team to anyone who is looking for a fun & professional team to bartend their event.

3 Blondes came very highly recommended by EVERYONE in the city. However, I had an AWFUL time trying to contact Katie multiple times throughout this process. Any time I had to contact her for any reason it took at LEAST a week to hear back from her and even then she only responded after I attempted to contact her multiple times, both by phone and email. She always had some excuse for why she hadn't gotten back with me. I really don't feel she was very professional in that sense. It was WAY too hard to get a hold of her. I tried to find another bartending service a few months before our wedding because she wasn't getting back to me with some important info, but I couldn't find anyone else to do it. So I crossed my fingers and kept dealing with her. The guy she ended up assigning to our wedding was great! I wish I could remember his name and talk him up, but I just can't. We ended up having an overall positive experience, but Katie was a HUGE hassle to work with. In fact, I'm still waiting on her to cash/deposit our final check that I wrote her 3 weeks ago. I emailed her a week ago to make sure she received it and, surprise surprise, I haven't heard back from her yet.

They did such a wonderful job and were so helpful with how much to get and what we needed. We were 100% prepared and they were so fun!! Would highly reccomend!

We used 3 blondes and a martini baecause it was the service that our vendor used. They were very friendly and imformative. They promptly returned emails and calls. The only thing we were dissapointed with was the amounts of alcohol that came with their package. We had purchased the package to serve 125 people with 3 signature drinks. We ran out of alcohol for the signature drinks with in 45 minutes of the start of the reception. There was plenty of beer and wine, I just wished they had told us exactly how many bottles of liqure was included in the package. Other then that they were great.

Overall, I'm pretty happy with my decision to use them. I did run into a couple issues along the way though. They had poor follow up at times and they were supposed to create a signature drink to match my wedding colors, but it turned out to be the completely wrong color. However, they do a lot to try to make things easier on you. I guess it depends on what's important to you.

3 Blondes and a Martini were absolutely wonderful in the planning (quantities of liquor and mixers to buy) and the night of the wedding. I didn't talk to them much the night of, but my parents remarked about how helpful they were all night long & that they packed up the liquor/drinks and helped load into the car. The only complaint I have is there were several of the same kind of wine corked and not used, as opposed to one partial bottle of each kind of wine.

This company was good to work with and Becky did a great job at the wedding reception. They were organized and performed well. I would recommend this company.
