EST. DECISION. EVER. I have full body chills watching our wedding video - it's absolutely everything we could have dreamed of, and then some. He took into consideration the track we so desperately wanted and went out of his way to make sure we had rights to the Vance Joy song. He took time to meet us half way between Indy and Seymour and got to know US (our first date, what our wedding details were, what we wanted out of a video, etc. - his thoroughness was top tier). He was always present yet never underfoot and captured moments that meant the world to me that day, moments I didn't even know had happened until I saw them in stunning detail in the video. He even visited the venue the evening before to make sure everything worked out logistically, the preparation shows. And the drone work O-M-G, as if they didn't capture the story of our wedding day perfectly as is - they made sure to get sweeping, gorgeous views of our beautiful city, venue, and home on that crisp Indiana day. It ties it all together so beautifully I can't believe it's OUR wedding coverage. It's trully a work of cinematic art. Every part was on point, from the initial meeting to the final product. His communication skills, level of detail, and shooting/editing talent are unparalleled. I have nothing but a glowing recommendation. Photos are great to capture a moment, but video captures the emotions and tone of the whole day. Shaun and his team are worth every single penny. Since they traveled for our wedding they went out in advance to check out the scenes, lighting and set up for our venue and do some shooting in advance. I cannot say enough about the ‘personal touches’, their ability to interpret exactly what we wanted without us even knowing ‘exactly what we wanted’ and thoroughness. They wrote us a personal card and posted our video with a very special overview of the day- the video and notes brought tears to our eyes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

On the wedding day, they were there from the very beginning of prep until we left in our horse and carriage. They were present and got some great shots while also being somewhat invisible. k, it was a godsend. 3 to 1 was everything we could've asked for and the final product (i.e. the video itself) is just plain awesome. We've showed it to several family members (not the whole video but the highlights reel) and almost all of them have made the comment that it looks like a "big time movie production." We are both extremely happy with it and even after several times of watching it, it still gives us goosebumps (and I'm not exaggerating by any means). Some of our closest friends celebrate their anniversary every year by re-watching their wedding video. This will certainly be a tradition my wife and I will look forward to every year! When I contacted Shaun he told me that he was booked for the year but was kind enough to forward videographers he recommended. He then emailed me a few days later when his client canceled her wedding and we immediately booked him. He and his wife were very professional and accommodating during the entire process. They made our daughter and son-in-law feel so special and really captured the feeling of the day. Shaun videotaped messages from friends and family to the bride and groom and then sent these messages to the new couple the next day while they were waiting at the airport to leave for their honeymoon. The video itself is perfect...the lighting, the music, the quality of the production is everything we envisioned. We won't hesitate to use 3 to 1 Video for any needs we have in the future.

On our wedding day he was there all day and captured some amazing moments. He was so easy to work with and so was the rest of his crew. He was great with our photographer, planner and DJ. for about 25 videographers. In general they were ok, nothing really jumped out at me. What really captured my attention was audio quality of the videos. Also many of the videos of videographers compared had very grainy videos during the reception (usually dark) or had lights that were too bright and were burning out the subject. After many hours of videos we narrowed it down to 2 videographers. To be quite honest we hired Shaun because when we did reach out he was always quick to respond. We had plenty of experience with wedding vendors that were hard to reach, and did not want that in a videographer. Shaun worked with us on a package that was perfect. Some of the services he offered weren't important to us, but others were. For example we wanted a 3rd camera angle and a second shooter. He tailored a package for us, to get us what WE wanted. A few days before the wedding we met up to make sure we reviewed the plan and any other special requests we may have. Shaun showed up at the rehearsal to scope things out (over a hour drive away for him). He wanted to make sure he was prepared for the ceremony. He studied angles, shooting locations. He is also very savy in the audio equipment. He had all kinds of ideas of how to tap into the equipment on site to make sure he got the best possible audio without interfering or having huge obvious microphones. He had a wireless mic for me to wear. On the day of the wedding he showed up early as he normally does. He was ready to document the ENTIRE DAY. We were able to get footage of the bride getting ready as well as myself. He also took time to get footage of the little details before things got hectic. I was very impressed with the equipment he had. For a few scenes that he shot with a DSLR camera he had a 'jig' with a counterweight (steady cam?) So when he would walk or move around the camera was not shaky at all and stayed at the right angle. Sorry I'm not familiar with the correct terminology. Furthermore he had a rail system that was portable and he could set up to get interesting pan shots. Shaun and his team worked hard, ALL DAY running around after us getting everything on video. His team made sure to be conscious of other camera locations and not walking into the frame. Shaun provided a quick preview within a few days to hold us off. We knew immediately that it would be awesome when we saw it. He then spent many many hours editing all our footage into a finished product. Seamlessly transitioning the camera angles. For our wedding our shoes were bright and a focal point of our attire. one of the shots used our feet. However the bride was worried about a band aid showing because the shoes had rubbed funny. Shaun edited the band aid out of the video which made her very happy. At the end of the day we were so glad we had video footage of our wedding and that Shaun was the person we hired for those priceless memories. The day goes by so fast that some things just don't register. Or things happen while you're distracted with something else. You won't regret having a quality video from 3to1 to cherish for the rest of your life.

I am so glad that we decided to use a videographer; that day went by sooo fast and it's hard to see everything that is happening while you're there. . It was great to see and hear the musicians at the wedding and reception for the first time and even in stereo! Watching the guests arrive and everything come together as we had planned that day was such a joy. He captured the whole essence of the celebration for us from the hair salon to the reception.
