We used Robert as the DJ for our wedding and had a fantastic experience! We talked with him before the wedding to give our vision, and he was able to choose songs that helped our guests to dance and party the entire time. He worked well with me, my family, my bridal party, and my vendors to ensure that things ran smoothly and as I had planned.

Robert was fantastic! He was easy to get a hold of and was very engaged when it came to what we wanted for our reception. He played great music and kept the dance floor full all night!!

Robert was engaged, professional, and flexible. We had several issues with the reception venue, and Robert handled them all capably and with a smile. In the end, he provided fantastic music without adding any stress and handled on-the-spot requests quickly and correctly every time. Thank you so much for everything!

Robert did an amazing job at our wedding reception!! The dancing was non-stop! Everyone had a great time. The songs he played were so on point and he can definitely feel the crowd and know what to play next. He did a great mix of oldie, throwbacks and new music to keep the whole crowd, young and old, on the dance floor. My grandpop, who has trouble walking, couldn't resist getting on the dance floor! Many guests raved the next day at what an awesome job our DJ did. My dad had a surprise serenade, where all our guests sang to me and my groom, and Robert made it go off without a hitch! Would recommend Robert and 3 Way Street Sound to anyone looking for a nonstop dance party!

My husband and I chose Robert and his company after reading the reviews on here and speaking with him over the phone. We were really excited after the phone conversation because we felt we were a really great match. Unfortunately, the whole experience wasn't exactly what we had hoped for. Email communication, though very professional, was sparse at times. When I asked for a part of the contract to be re-written, it took him 11 days to get it back to us. I almost didn't sign with him because of this, but the price of his DJ services was too good to pass up. Then when I sent him our final song playlist, he again took 5 days to get back to us with a confirmation email. On the actual wedding day he did a good job of playing a couple special mixes my husband and I had made for the reception. Unfortunately that was overshadowed by microphone issues during the blessing. There was also a 2 minute period when he left the room to eat his vendor meal and there was silence because he forgot to put another song on. I asked him right after if these issues would continue throughout the night and he apologized. The rest of the night went smoothly and everyone was out on the dance floor, having a great time. When we mentioned the issues to our family after the reception, they said they didn't even notice, but what matters is that we noticed. What ultimately upset me about using Robert was that he forgot to play a song I wanted dedicated to my husband. I didn't even realize it until the next morning when my husband and I were talking about what a wonderful day it was and my husband mentioned he didn't hear him play that song. Robert is a nice guy, but I don't think we'd use him again. Luckily everyone still had a good time at the wedding.

We hired Robert from 3 Way Street Sound for our 10/17/14 wedding. He did a great job of providing the announcements and keeping the evening flowing and keeping our guests dancing. And he did it without being over-the-top and terribly cheesy like some wedding DJs. We had a bit of a mixed crowd, but he played music that appealed to many. We provided him with a list of music that our guests' requested, and he played many of the selections. He was easy to deal with prior to the wedding and was responsive to our questions. I would definitely recommend him to others.

My review is long overdue for the service that Robert Hallinan provided. I was planning a wedding from out-of-state so I had my mom and sister, who were local to the reception venue, first meet with Robert. He impressed them immediately. They gave me the ok and I proceeded to work with him via e-mail and over the phone. He is very professional and respected that I had many questions about his role during the reception. He honored the type of music that my husband and I wanted to hear, and more importantly he honored the "do not play" and "must play" lists. He even had recommendations and some guidance to help me choose the important songs for the evening. We had so much fun during the reception that one guest paid Robert for an extra half an hour (also with approval from the country club). Hiring Robert was one of the best decisions my husband and I made for our day.

The worst!!!

Rob Halinan was an INCREDIBLE DJ. He was great at reading the crowd and if he didn't have a song we wanted he would download it on spot. He was early for the ceremony and made CDs for our music for the ceremony.

I am still getting calls from guests wanting my DJ's info. Our dance floor was nonstop all night, they did not want the night to end. We our so grateful that we hired 2 Way Street Sound. The DJ was the most important vendor to us and our guests. Thanks you guys were awesome! Cant wait for my next party!

3 Way Street Sound did a spectacular job with our wedding ceremony & reception. We requested Robert's services & he stuck to the music we requested beforehand and read the crowd to keep the guests on the dance floor. I've had so many compliments about our wedding and I know music was a big part of that. Thanks Robert!

Robert Hallinan of 3 Way Street Sound was our DJ for our wedding in July of 2010. He was able to provide a night that our family talks about all the time. He knew exactly what type of music to play at each point of the night to entertain all of our guests. We had a big Irish wedding of 225 people ranging from early 20s to 80+ and Robert had every guest up dancing. The dance floor was not only never empty, but everyone was laughing on it all night long. He was able to bring both my husband’s family and my family dancing together in the same group. We did not need to search long to find Robert. We have been to at least 5 of his events before our own wedding. At our first consultation Robert came prepared with lists of previous weddings he has done as well as song suggestions for the different parts of the reception. This was a tremendous help for my husband and I, as it was one less detail to worry about during the planning process. Robert’s passion for music shows through at your first consultation and continues through your event. We attribute the success of our reception to Robert Hallinan and 3 Way Street Sound. We will use him at many future events in our lives!
