Originally from Indiana, Michael and his family moved to 30a / Destin to work for a church. Within two years Michael planted his own church. A year after planting a church Michael bought one boat for fun to make side money needed to support his family. Now, Michael and his family own 13 boats and manage over 30 in Destin, 30a, Nashville, The Florida Keys, Orange Beach, etc.

Sometimes on these types of excursions you worry about how involved a captain will be, but Doug was great at balancing hanging out with us and staying behind the scenes when he could tell we were having our girl moments :) He brought us water, took lots of photos, danced with us, and kept us safe. Couldn’t recommend Doug and 30A Pontoon Rentals more. BOOK DOUG FOR YOUR BACHELORETTE!!

We also hired Captain Heath, and that was absolutely the right decision. He was fantastic—proactive, friendly, and incredibly accommodating. Before the trip, he even offered to bring an extra cooler with ice and shared helpful tips to make the day even better. During the outing, everything ran smoothly. Heath gave great suggestions, took photos for us, and was especially attentive with the kids, helping them safely enjoy the slide.
It truly couldn’t have been a better day. We would absolutely use this company again and highly recommend both the boat and Captain Heath!
