About this vendor
32 West Eighth is housed in the historic Masonic Temple of Erie. Built in 1909, the Temple is one of the most architecturally distinguished buildings in the City of Erie. The original woodwork, plaster-relief ceilings, and marble-blocked corridors are unmatched in any other building in the city.

32 West Eighth features three unique spaces all with distinctive characteristics to make your day memorable.
Start the next chapter of your life by holding your ceremony in our majestic Lodge Room.
Ceremony Space– The Lodge Room
The Lodge Room is perfect for wedding ceremonies – its spacious floor, stately columns and plaster relief coffered ceiling adds an air of elegance to your wedding.
Continue the celebration of your love in one of our two banquet spaces, each unique in its look and feel.
The Grand Ballroom-
Entering from the Foyer, the Grand Ballroom opens up to two-story tall columns which draw your eye to the ceiling with festive plaster relief details. Front and center is the stage where the wedding party can dine with a view to all the festivities. The Ballroom floor is a suspended hardwood that allows you to dance the night away!
Arcadia Hall-
While larger than the Grand Ballroom, Arcadia gives a more intimate feel with a lower ceiling and stone columns with flickering "candles". The Peacock Fountain and Fireplace add a quaint, old-world charm to the space and is perfect for themed events.
No matter your vision, the staff at 32 West Eighth will work with you to make your dreams come true!

Had my wedding reception at the Masonic Temple in the Ballroom this past June. Fantastic space and I had plenty of space for my 200 guests. The Event Coordinator was more than accommodating and very responsive.
The reception was wonderful and the food tasted great but their communication skills are lacking. They take forever to respond to emails and phone calls. They also failed to communicate to me that they would not have the reception from the night before cleaned up when I came into set up.
We chose the Masonic Temple Ballroom which is upstairs. They have the camelot room downstairs which has low ceilings and more of a castle feel. The ballroom was gorgeous..wood floors..high ornate ceilings..and the cost was very reasonable compared to hotel ballroom prices etc. The only thing is that management is very scattered so you need to stay on top of things. I stopped in the day of my rehearsal dinner and the a/c was broken. Everyone kept saying it wasnt, but I had to insist on having an AC person come look at it while I was still there. Food was great-catering is done by sabellas, they are def on top of things! Easy to email and get ahold of as well.
