We had the absolute pleasure of working with Johnnie Johnson at 336 DJs. He had us covered with all of our requests - extra mic's for ceremony, customizing playlist for each part of our special day (cocktail hour, dinner music, early reception music and late night) and the flow of music was relentless (in the best way! I couldn't leave the dance floor). We went with the additional lighting package and it made the dance floor that much fun! There is no one else we would have rather had as our DJ on our wedding day! Johnnie with 336 DJ’s did an amazing job for our wedding!! He played all of our specific song requests and did an awesome job filling in with other similar vibes. We all loved the music played at the reception and had the best time (you know the music was good when drinks are spilling on the dance floor from dancing). Johnnie was very helpful checking in with us for our timeline & other cues throughout the night as well. As someone who didn’t have a professional planne or coordinator, it was very important to have good communication with my vendors while planning. He offered time to do consults throughout that process and the song selection form was very helpful.

My husband and I were AMAZED by the quality of DJing we got. It truly felt like a dance party at the wedding. There were multiple moments and comments about how great the music was. I love Coldplay and Johnnie followed the request of as much as possible!! Haha. We also got the photo booth and it was worth every penny. It was a hit and Johnnie got us a photo book to go with it as a guest book.

We hired Johnnie for our wedding and he did not disappoint. He took our concerns of this being an interracial marriage to heart; and he played music that beautifully blended our cultures. His professionalism and experience allowed him to easily 'read the room' and kept our loved ones dancing for hours. Our guests LOVED taking pictures at the photo booth and we're so happy to have those extra memories!

We hired DJ Deneiro from 336 for our wedding and we would absolutely recommend their services to anyone looking for an event DJ. DJ Deneiro set up the sound system perfectly for the ceremony and went over it with us beforehand to make sure everything ran smoothly. We provided a core playlist for the reception and told Deneiro to fill it out however they saw fit, and we were thrilled with the end result. Every guest was on the dance floor the whole night, and it seemed that every individual guest made sure to tell us what an excellent job the DJ was doing. They also took requests in a timely fashion and were able to blend requested songs in with the rest of the playlist seamlessly. DJ Deniero was courteous, professional, fun, engaging, and overall excellent and we couldn't be happier with the DJ services we received.

From the ceremony, cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing, our night was flawless and fun because of him and his team! From the jump they offered some of the best deals I had seen for DJ and lighting packages, compared to some of the other vendors I looked at. But their text communication through The Knot and first initial video call really made me feel at ease! Johnnie and Joe were very intentional about creating an atmosphere that catered to what my fiance and I had a vision for on our wedding day. In every step of the process in the lead up to the day, they were helpful and answered a lot of our questions, really working with us to create the most fun day as they could. When it came to the big day, DJ Joe had the vibes churning!! A lot of people remarked on how much they loved his mix! Where do I even begin!? Johnnie was such an amazing part of our wedding that I cannot say enough to encourage others to hire him. I would definitely recommend him for any event you're needing music for. Not only did he provide service for our wedding day, he also came to the rehearsal so that I would be able to hear the music and we would know the timing of everything for the ceremony. We had a difficult set up where ceremony, cocktail hour and reception would require three different set up locations and Johnnie was able to accommodate this with no problem at all. I also expressed to him my desire for cold sparks machines and he went out of his way to make sure they would be at my wedding, even though they were not part of his program at the time. The timing of our ceremony music went off without a flaw thanks to his cutting and looping skills and keen attention to detail and our requests. AND our dancefloor was a HIT all night long. I've never seen my family and friends have such a great time. So many people have contacted me to say how much fun they had. I would highly recommend DJ Jonnie for any event you're having and will definitely be using him for any future events we have. He was very responsive and personable during the planning process and his music homework package helped me in knowing what all I would need to think of music for. Joe was PHENOMENAL at our wedding!!! He had the whole room jumping all night, he played what was requested and more, and set the mood perfectly!!! We are still getting guests telling us it was the best wedding they had ever been to, and a large part of that is due to Joe! Johnnie was AMAZING!!!! He had all of his own equipment and had a great set up! He was able to play music during our ceremony and cocktail hour outside and then move inside for the reception without any issues. During the reception he kept the party rolling all night long! He blended the music so well and played the best playlist! Our guests had such an amazing time and we got multiple comments that he was the best wedding DJ they had heard! Johnnie was beyond amazing!!! He was so much fun, professional, and easy going. Once he began playing music at the reception, there was never a dull moment…never a time when people weren’t dancing to their fullest. He always responded very quickly and made sure we had the best wedding reception ever. 3 weeks after and our guests are still raving to me about how incredible our dj was!!!

336 DJ's has great pricing and are very friendly. Communication was always good, and their timing of the songs during my ceremony was perfect and exactly what I wanted! The reason for the three stars however, is that I provided playlists for each event, cocktail hour, dinner, and reception. I'm not sure if my cocktail hour playlist was played because I was doing photos, but the reception playlist was *not* mine at all, I wanted my playlist to be modern and uncensored (something my guests were told would happen) and personal to my husband and I, and instead we got oldies and clean versions of music for almost 2 out of the 3 hours of the reception. I had to ask the DJ to start playing uncensored music and even then, it wasn't my playlist. I maybe heard 3 or 4 songs from my playlist, and while I still had fun, I'm bummed it wasn't exactly what I asked and it wasn't the playlist I spent a long time creating specifically for my wedding night.

Johnnie was absolutely amazing. We had a good mix of an older age and younger aged guest list and he kept everyone happy. Even our grandparents were on the dance floor! We are still getting compliments on how great the music was! Our wedding was about mixing two cultures and he helped execute that perfectly through music and song. Johnnie is SO kind, professional, responsive, and just a plain fun person! We hired him to DJ our wedding back in 2019 while planning our wedding for 2020. As you can imagine, we ran in to a little setback known as COVID — and had to move our event no less than 4 times. We finally celebrated in April 2021. Johnnie not only graciously rolled with our new dates each time, but he kept meticulous track of what we wanted for our three "dance" songs, preferred dinner music, and entrance music. He ALWAYS responded first to my vendor emails, was always upbeat, and he even arrived dressed in medieval attire for our themed wedding! I can not sing enough praise for Johnnie. Just hire him!!!

Johnnie, of 336 DJs, did an absolutely amazing job with the music for our wedding. As the groom, and an obsessive music fan, I was tasked with all things music related, including finding the DJ. Going into it I had A LOT of expectations and I wanted everything to be PERFECT. From my first interaction with Johnnie he assured me that he would do everything he could to make my vision a reality. I was impressed with all of the work he did in preparing for our wedding, from coordinating with me on the playlist I wanted, to meeting with us several times before the wedding day. He provided a lot of extra things I wasn't even aware we needed (e.g., wireless microphones, uplighting, and coordinating every transition during the ceremony and reception to ensure things moved seamlessly). Moreover, Johnnie's personality makes him so easy to work with, that even our guests were impacted by his personable and friendly demeanor. Our wedding was a spectacular event, and my wife and I firmly believe that had it not been for Johnnie, it would not have been nearly as perfect as it was.

I have been a part of two weddings DJed by John E Johnson in the last month. After months of planning and stress, we got to both weddings and instantly John E took the stress right off our shoulders. Cameron was an awesome addition to our perfect day. He was so great to talk to during the planning process and is so accommodating to whatever kind of music, announcements, places to set up and lighting that you desire. Cameron is very self sufficient, he got to the event early and made sure everything was set up and ready to go in plenty of time. We had the ceremony outside and the reception inside a barn and he had all the equipment for both locations without a hitch.
