I cannot recommend Xaviera enough! My partner and I were nervous about learning our first dance for our wedding, but Xaviera made the experience so enjoyable and stress-free. From ...
the very first lesson, we felt comfortable and confident in her teaching style. Xaviera was patient, encouraging, and always made sure we understood the steps before moving on to the next one.Not only did Xaviera teach us the steps, but she also choreographed a beautiful routine that perfectly matched our personalities and style. We received so many compliments on our first dance and it was all thanks to Xaviera!Overall, I would highly recommend Xaviera to anyone looking for a dance instructor. She is professional, talented, and truly cares about his/her students' success. Thank you, Xaviera, for making our first dance such a memorable and special experience!
My-Xaviera helped us get ready for our wedding by teaching the basics of many different dance styles as well as choreographing our first dance. She was excellent. She was very prof...
essional and timely and I would say that our first dance was a success. We are giving her four stars only because we can't give fractions of stars, otherwise it would be more like 4.8 and there is always room for growth. We sometimes felt like she expected us to know more technical aspects of the dances because we weren't tripping over our own feet, but in reality we were still brand new beginners. So maybe it was a good thing that she was holding us to a higher standard, but also a little frustrating at times. We did get many compliments about our first dance though so she got the job done! We also appreciated that she didn't hound us to buy more classes like some of the other instructors. Overall, we loved My-Xaviera and if we ever decide to take up dance lessons again, we will go to her!

My wife, mother, and I took personal dance lessons with My-Xaviera for our mother/son and bride/groom dances earlier this year. We had an all-around great experience! My-Xaviera wa...
s reliable & patient, yet she also challenged us and prepared us 100% with lots of laughs along the way. We would highly recommend My-Xaviera for any of your instructional dancing needs!
My-Xaviera James was the most incredible dance instructor from day one and made my husband and I comfortable from the start. We had basically no dance experience when we started an...
d she was able to get us to the point where not only were we ready for our first dance but we feel more comfortable just dancing when we go out for a regular night. I can’t recommend her enough no matter what your skill level is. Especially if you are preparing for your first dance. She started out basically teaching us how to walk normal and we ended up with a perfected bachata after lessons with her. She’s patient and made it so we did not feel nervous at all each practice.
My-Xaviera gave us AMAZINGLY UNIQUE private lessons for our wedding and even though we were met with extremely challenging circumstances leading up to our wedding because of the pa...
ndemic she was able to modify our lessons over zoom and email and provided step by step moves/counts/song time when we should do certain moves since we couldn't meet in person. Though I'm certain it was exhausting, she went ABOVE and BEYOND to make sure our first dance was something we felt confident in showing off our hard work and is now our most cherished video clip from our wedding.

onsider myself a skilled dancer or the easiest student but My-Xaviera, always worked with me until I felt not only comfortable but confident and excelled. My wedding dance was my favorite part of my wedding thanks to her.

or our wedding. She designed a dance that was exactly what we wanted without us knowing exactly what we wanted when we explained our desires for the dance. She was excellent.
