As the mother of the groom planning the wedding from out of state 4 Eagle Ranch was very accommodating with all my questions. We had rehearsal dinner Thursday evening at Nelson cabin, what a quaint setting and delicious dinner. All the guests were very complimentary of the whole evening. Wedding coordination was perfect and the reception just as we envisioned. When we arrived for the wedding, the ranch still had other activities going on (this was disclosed to us) I did not expect a band at the winery. Parking was very limited, this was the only reason I did not give 5 stars. It was a challenge to find a spot to park and we were first to arrive. I was very concerned with the limited parking for all our guests. The Band was not an issue with the outdoor wedding, we never heard it during the ceremony. Absolutely I recommend 4 Eagle Ranch!
Hidden gem of wedding venues in Eagle County. Luckily my husband had attended a couple weddings here growing up as a local in the valley, so we almost immediately knew this was going to be our place. The staff here are amazing and did so much to make the day amazing. What amazed me were the amount of options.. I never felt restricted on where to have the ceremony, cocktail party or reception. Everyone was so flexible and were willing to go the extra mile to make it perfect for our families!! Thank you!!
Absolutely breathtaking venue. Surrounded by mountains, nestled in the small Colorado town of Wolcott, 4 Eagle Ranch offers an authentic Ranch experience with a touch of Western sophistication. The ceremony was held outside, with the mountains and the open sky as a gorgeous backdrop. The reception was held in the Events Center which is a massive event space, with giant doors that roll up and allow for an open-air feel. The stunning rustic in-house chandeliers offered a soft & subtle glow to the space. The service was incredible - extremely friendly & helpful staff, as well as delicious food. Guests were raving about the dinner all night! As a member of the bridal party, I can honestly say that the Homestead House (where all the bridesmaids & bride stayed the night before and got ready the day of) was impeccably clean & absolutely gorgeous on the inside. It made all of us feel very comfortable and relaxed, given that so many of us had some nerves! ;) I would recommend 4 Eagle Ranch to any couple looking for an authentic Colorado wedding experience. The day was flowing with love, beauty & complete trust in 4 Eagle ranch to execute a very beautiful day. Many thanks to the 4 Eagle team!
My husband and I got married at 4 Eagle Ranch this past summer and all thanks to the amazing staff , the wonderful food and the beautiful venue it was the most magical day of our lives. On the wedding day, we were able to enjoy every precious moment because we had the comfort of knowing the great team at 4 Eagle Ranch would do everything in their power to make the day so amazing AND that they did. The venue was perfect for us because they had so many different options to choose from when it came to the food, lodging, activities and so on, which helped to make our wedding unique and special for us and our guests. And last but certainly not least, the views were absolutely stunning and made for the most amazing backdrop during our ceremony and in our wedding photos that we will cherish forever. With all that being said, I would highly recommend this venue to Tie The Knot ;)
I knew when we decided to have our wedding weekend in Vail that 4 Eagle Ranch was exactly the atmosphere we wanted. Stunningly beautiful simply in its surroundings, they provided an interactive vendor experience that was down to earth, personal, and authentic. They worked with us on odd requests (some of which they had never done before) and delivered beautifully! Kristin and gang were a treat to work with. We would do everything the same if given another opportunity! If you’re looking for natural beauty, outdoor vibes, and a way to make your guests’ mouths drop, I can think of no place more beautiful than 4 Eagle.
We hosted a ranch party at 4 Eagle during our wedding weekend. It was amazing! The views are spectacular and our guests had so much fun taking photos, playing lawn games and volleyball, and soaking up all the ranch magic..the fun continued inside the main venue with delicious BBQ and line dancing - truly one of the most memorable nights for us. Kristen an the staff could not be nicer or easier to work with. Cost seemed very reasonable. Thanks for a wonderful event!
Beautiful location, flexible arrangements, dresses up nicely. Was able to rent some decorations from the facility which helped with cost.
I would recommend against using their DJ company which I think was way over priced - $1,965 for one hour ceremony and a 5 hour reception. Also, cost for open bar was WAY out of control when we know 30% of the attendees left 2 hours early and another 20% don't even drink.
Other MAJOR mishap was that the remainder of our wedding cake got "lost"! Never found out who was responsible and no one ever fessed up, so can't pin that one directly on 4 Eagle, but still, it is quite a bummer my husband and I will not be able to enjoy the top layer of our cake on our 1 year anniversary.
This venue was exactly what we were looking for. It's far from the hotel ballroom scene with bad carpet, which we wanted to stay far away from. My now husband and I met in Colorado, while we both are from different states, so we decided to have a wedding representative of the state that brought us together. 4 Eagle Ranch sits in a valley about 25 miles west of Vail, and it's actually an old ranch from the late 1800s. Some of the old structures keep the ranch looking rustic, however, the newest wedding venue on the property is brand new. The event center was just finished this last year, and was made to be an indoor/outdoor venue with large garage doors that can stay open or closed. Word has it that the floors are even heated in case it's cold. My favorite part about this venue was the ceremony site, which is a beautiful outdoor wedding pavilion that perfectly frames a picturesque mountain range. Another plus for us was that if the weather turned bad, then the ceremony could be moved into the event center, which had a giant garage door framing the same mountains. So it's a good choice if you really want to be outside, but still have a rain option.
We were ultimately looking for a Colorado rustic wedding, and we found it with this venue. It is very much a ranch, and maybe that is not for everyone... There is only buffet for the in house catering, but it is spectacular food, we are still getting comments on how good the food is. The staff is wonderful and so helpful in making your day exactly what you want it to be.
If wanting to go for more of the rustic "elegant" wedding here, you will need to rent linens and most of your items (plates, flatware, etc.), because again, this is a ranch...and although it's starting to do a lot of weddings now, it seems to be mostly set up for corporate bbqs, country western nights, etc.
Very seriously though, this place is a gem, and for me it was a beautiful canvas to have the exact wedding I was looking for. Some extra bonuses of the venue is the amazing 6-bedroom guest house which the bride can get ready in prior to ceremony. Also, the horse drawn carriage ride for the wedding party post ceremony was an amazing touch as well.
Again, if you're looking for the banquet style plated reception, then this place might not be for you. But if you're looking for a unique venue that highlights the best of Colorado, this is your place!
