This is an amazing venue.
First, it's right in downtown Memphis. It's literally across the street from the National Civil Rights Museum and only steps away from the world-famous Peabody Hotel, the Rendezvous, Central BBQ, Beale Street, and the Mississippi River!
Second, the owner is a delight to work with and the space is large and open--so you can arrange events however you'd like.
Third, the recently completed renovations have maintained the charm of this former cannery--there are beautiful, original hardwood floors, exposed brick, and period warehouse windows--while offering modern amenities. The bathrooms--especially the lounge attached to the women's bathroom--are breathtaking. They were a great place to hang out as we got ready for our wedding and made for some really beautiful photos.
Fourth, as of April 2017, outside vendors were permitted--which means you can choose your own caterer, your own florist, your own DJ. Basically, you can get the wedding YOU want rather than being forced into the same choices everyone else in a given space has had to make and YOU can decide how much to spend of various services!
Bottom line: if you are looking for a distinctly Memphis venue with all the attractions and character the city has to offer, I promise you won't find anything more perfect! Book it and don't look back!
