Our guests raved about the flavor of the cake and loved all of the assorted desserts, so much so that they were gone before my groom and I could taste any! We brought home the top of our cake and couldn't stand the thought of freezing it for a year! We dug right in and have been enjoying it all week! Thank you so much to the staff of 4R Cakes!!

They kept good communication with us between the time of our order and the day-of and were willing to deliver our desserts to our venue the day before our wedding, which was on a Sunday (and everything still looked and tasted perfect). My husband and I were already huge fans of 4Rivers, and having a Sweet Shop cake at our wedding made the day that much better.

rry Champagne cake, it's light and rich at the same time. They recreated a wedding cake from a picture I sent and gave us a stress-free experience. Our total order for a three-tier cake, cake stand, delivery and pie shooters (a hit with our guests!) came in less than their competitors in town, even Major Grocery Store.

eet shop there. Once I got home we did our own sampling and then emailed our order to the corporate office as directed. We wanted just a plain white cake with no decorations so this seems ok at the time. When I went to pick up my cake I noticed there was chocolate gauche poured over the top. This wasn't want I wanted but knew it would be too much to try and fix so I just grabbed it and went. When we put the cake topper on it blended into the chocolate color making it disappear for pictures. On top of that when we cut into it there was no gauche filling as we ordered. I sent an email to the corporate office we ordered it from and they took several days to respond. They then basically just passed me off to the store manager who made the cake to explain. When he called me he was very apologetic and explained that the 'filling' we picked out was typically not used as filling but on the outside of the cake, thus the confusion. When I asked about the picture I had sent of the plain white cake they said it never made it over. It was apparent the corporate office had messed up the order and were making this poor manager take the blame. He was nice enough to credit me the cost of the filling but the whole thing was just such an unnecessary hassle. At the end the cake was a solid B for flavor and A- for pricing. I just suggest NOT working with the corporate office and insisting on working with the store and staff who will be providing the cake.
