Meena was so on-top of everything, making sure everyone was at the right place at the right time and cuing everything from the music, to the announcements, and placing everyone in their proper places for speeches. There was so much that her and her team handled to make sure that everything ran as smooth as possible, and as the bride I didn't have to worry at all. Their attention to detail and timing was so great, and there were even some things the team adjusted or added to make the event ran even more seamlessly. Meena's experience with event-planning really showed since she would tweak the timeline and course of events to make sure everything was efficient and well-timed. She made suggestions to help flow the energy of the crowd better for dances and speeches, making sure to take full advantage of the positioning and attention of the audience best. Our bridal party was also so impressed, they were telling me throughout the whole party that Meena was amazing, and she truly was! Her team was spread out and onsite with all separate parties and making sure we got out on time, took all the items we needed, and coordinated it so my husband wouldn't see me until I walked down the aisle (as we had wanted it). There were so many things that Meena and her team took into account, and I couldn't have imagined what it would've been like if I didn't have them to help me. Thank you Meena, you were great!

a reasonable rate, but even if she did not, she was worth it. Every goddamn penny. Meena is not a very tall woman. But what she lacks in height she makes up for in style and professionalism. We chose to go with her because she presented herself very well and seemed like she knew a lot about the industry. And she totally does. Meena is perfect for those couples looking a one-stop wedding go-to person. She has connections in everything from DJ’s, cakes, invitations, etc. We were a little picky and we did not go for all the things she offered – for example, we picked our on DJ, cake, lighting package and invitations – but she has all those connections available if need be. Her huge value adds in our experience were at helping us pick the right venue, find a wedding dress, and also generally introduce us to how things are done. But her biggest value add was really at the day of the wedding. Listen, weddings are a mess – there is so much going on – and you want, no, NEED, someone taking care of every little thing so you can focus on looking awesome and being happy. Meena made it so that there was no drama at the day of our wedding. We did not have to keep track of when people arrived, or guests who were sitting on the wrong side of the room, or lights that looked awful - because she took care of everything. Here is a small list of things she handled on the day off 1. Figured out a way to get husband’s cuffs to fit because he got a shirt not meant for cuffs. She totally figured it out. 2. Got bride a new bra because her dress was fitting funny and her bra was just not working. Not only did Meena figure it out – but she figured that shit out in like a millisecond. Oh, your bra doesn’t fit? – here is a new perfectly fitting bra – whaaaat? 3. Hey, your tables look nice - here is a new runner to make them look amazeballs. 4. Fed us – like actually fed us, because she noticed we were not eating. 5. Acted as a buffer for uncomfortable conversations. Like, if we needed to tell our parents things that were uncomfortable, or sensitive –she would do it. She would take any hits that would otherwise have negative implications if we would have said it. Things like – hey, we are going with this color palate, damn it – or, no, we cannot invite your friend Dad – Meena is keeping tabs on guests and she says we cannot go over this many people. #MeenaTheScapeGoat. Look, I can go on and on – but point blank – she was so amazing. And most impressive of all – she is like a ninja. You never feel her, or feel like she is in the way – she just makes things run smoothly. And that is huge for your wedding day. You don’t want to stress on your special day – you just want to have fun – and Meena makes sure that you do.

She personally arranged all of the flowers herself, and the centerpieces were exquisite! She even decorated our church with flowers and was present at our rehearsal the night before to coordinate the ceremony. She transported table linens, chair covers and other table decorations to and from New York City. Throughout the planning, Meena answered all of my emails and questions and made many of the international arrangements, which saved me a ton of time and stress. In France, Meena spent several days preparing every detail to perfection and dealing with some last minute add-ons in order to make everything so incredibly special. On our wedding day, Meena was phenomenal! The day ran so smoothly and we never felt an ounce of stress because Meena was there to ensure things ran seamlessly (until 4am when things wound down!) My husband and I were able to enjoy every second of our celebration. Meena went above and beyond. She is very professional, talented and experienced, always available, has great ideas and advice, and is overall the nicest person! I HIGHLY recommend her - she will plan your wedding to perfection!

Meena guided us in blending the best of both of our cultures (Indian and Italian) and ensured that the day was a true reflection of ourselves and our values. She was respectful of our wish to have a small, intimate wedding with a highly personalized and nontraditional ceremony. She saved us so much time in finding a venue - she quickly directed us to a place that was exactly what we were hoping for in terms of price, location, and style. She also connected us to a DJ and photographer that we were very comfortable and pleased with. She took the time to accompany my mother and me on my first dress shopping excursion, and she also helped us navigate several Indian clothing stores until we found the perfect sherwani for the groom. In addition to keeping everything running smoothly on the day of, Meena personally made and set up all of our floral arrangements, including the bride's bouquet, table centerpieces, flower garlands, and the flowers across the top of the mandap -- words can't express how absolutely gorgeous and stunning all of her floral arrangements were! We received so many compliments on the centerpieces and I loved my cascade bouquet so much that I had it dried and framed afterward. Hiring 5th Avenue Weddings to be our planner was by far the best "investment" we made in our wedding day. Meena has planned other weddings and events much larger and more elaborate than ours, but she made us feel like our smaller wedding was important nonetheless. She was responsive to our questions and concerns throughout the planning process, and she handled all the behind-the-scenes work on the day-of so that we and our family were able to enjoy the day without worry. We can't thank her enough!

I felt like she understood the vision including the color palate and the general desired "feel" of the wedding with only a few emails and Skype dates. We had only one trip back to the US to visit vendors and make design decisions (we had booked our venue sight unseen) and Meena lined up vendors and appointments giving us just enough choice that we felt like we had control, but not so much so we felt overwhelmed. We didn't really get to appreciate her work until the day of the wedding. The event went almost flawlessly....one of the best organized and most beautiful events I've attended. Maybe you've heard this before, so context would be helpful: I've been a bridesmaid 5 times. I attend (sometimes lavish) corporate "opening" events about once a month. Yes, the DJ mis-pronounced our names at our introduction, but that was the ONLY thing that went even mildly according to plan...I'd call that as perfect as possible. The photographer's blog said it all, "Their day was also by far the smoothest wedding I’ve ever photographed. We were on time or early the entire day, and no one was ever stressed! Everyone was just enjoying and soaking in every minute, and it was perfect!" This was in no small part thanks to Meena!

It's already a very busy day for the bride/groom & an emotional day for friends/family so having to worry about things with our vendors was the last thing I wanted to place on anyone's shoulders. If anyone knows anything about events, nothing EVER goes 100% according to plan no matter how well you plan something in advance. Meena also took my decorations in advance so I didn't have to worry about transporting them on the day of. She held on to them long after my wedding was over so I didn't have to stress about how to get them back until after our honeymoon. I sent a few dozen emails (actually, probably much, much more) back & forth & she handled everything quickly & efficiently & gave great advice. She has a lot so feel free to ask about anything. I found out after my wedding that there were a handful of hiccups on the day of which made me even more grateful for having hired her. If she wasn't there, I think two of my vendors would not have been set up in time/according to plan & it would have been a disaster. My family adored her (she met with us at the hotel in advance so my family could be more comfortable with her) & my mom really appreciated how she took her & helped her with her temporary tattoos. I think it helped my mother feel more special. I really appreciate that extra touch. It never felt like I had a stranger at my event. Meena is very warm, responsible & helpful so it felt like having a trusted friend help & guide you. After spending so much money on all different aspects of your wedding, a little bit more $ goes a long way to keep all the loose ends together. I definitely recommend her to everyone. Meena knows what she's doing & I am happy that I trusted her with what has so far been the best day of my life!

If they work with Meena, they were the best! She also made all of our invitations, stationary, and flower arrangements. We rented all of our linens through Meena, and they were one of my favorite parts of the wedding decor!! Throughout the entire process, I was relaxed and stress-free. What bride can say that and actually mean it?? If I ever had a question or doubt, a phone call with Meena would quickly put my mind at ease. She was always willing to work with me and compromise. I knew by having Meena on board, everything would be perfect. Weddings are always unpredictable, but leaving 5th Avenue Events in charge meant smooth sailing no matter what. She had a plan in place for everything. The day of our wedding, Meena never stopped moving, running, and checking in on everyone. Meena makes your wedding feel personal and will do everything to make you feel like the most special person in the world (it's your day after all)! We planned on having some goodies on our cake table from a local bakery. When we found out the bakery no longer made the pastries we wanted, Meena baked them herself, the night before the wedding!!!! Words cannot truly express how incredibly grateful I was for Meena's services. Our wedding was beyond anything I could have ever imagined.
